Look, I’m out there racing whenever I can. My boat isn't some high-speed beast—it's a Hobie Cat, the only one like it in San Diego😁
It's just me, my old man, and a few buddies. We try our best to stay competitive, but honestly? We just live for being out on the water and the thrill of the race...

Look, if you're actually out there racing, you don't really need any of that gear. Honestly, nothing gives you a better grip on the deck than bare feet—trust me on this. I’m out on the water basically every single day unless the wind completely dies down.

It always cracks me up seeing those guys decked out in all sorts of high-tech gadgets when they're barely even leaving the harbor in a light breeze.
But hey, I guess if someone already mentioned it, and if you're planning to take things more seriously, I'd suggest sticking to the big names like Musto or Helly Hansen.
