Card games, man, in every single version... I know at least a dozen different ones, though I’ve gotta admit I don't know much about those Mediterranean styles. But if we're talking about the ones I actually play most often, the heavy hitters...

1. Preference 🙂 - I never really picked up Bridge or Whist, but once you get the hang of Preference, there's no going back. It just takes over your life...
2. Lora - specifically the version where you get to pick the games. That's pure genius, honestly.
3. Belote - a total classic.

Preferences are everything. Lora is fun, but I don’t quite get that game-selection variant—though I have my guesses. Honestly, Blanca is getting pretty boring. Pictionary is easily the best board game out there!

It's pretty straightforward: we just agree on a list of 7 or 8 games to play, and everyone has to tackle every single one once. So, when the first round of dealing happens, you’ve got all seven options on the table depending on what cards you pull, then in the next round there are 6 left (minus the one you already did), and so on...
