Heh.
These fans in their Team USA jerseys look good.
Hopefully they weren't too clueless to catch the kickoff time change. 😬

God, the depth this Spanish squad has on their bench

They’ve got a damn replacement ready for every single player on the field.

Halftime at 3:16 PM for the dance

Knudsen has already handed the Spaniards 6 points—I’m calling it now, they’ll be sitting on about 11 by the end

Guys, my only real concern is that you all might actually perform even worse than this.
Linus, you gave it your all, cheers.
Vory, you're sitting at 225 pounds and still can't carve out a role as a cornerstone; I guess the conclusion is pretty much that you're washed up.
Let's just head home now; nobody, neither you nor us, cares about a bronze medal.

I’m calling it now—we’re going up against the Danes

23:20—the Spaniards are leading

What's the kickoff time tomorrow?

It might have been better if we'd just lost. Those French guys didn't even have a real game plan, yet they still managed to beat us. I suspect the Spaniards would have absolutely crushed us.

To hell with those fans who light flares only to toss them onto the pitch.😬

The Spanish national team has way too much talent sitting on the bench, honestly.

They’ve got guys like Julio Fis just rotting on the sidelines—man, he could start for pretty much any other national team in the world, and they probably couldn't even afford his contract. Then you have Razarac, who is an absolute nightmare for keepers and a top-tier scorer, yet he's stuck watching from the bench.
Just look at their substitutes for Garcia, Romer, or Urios; half the time I can't tell if the sub coming on is actually better than the guy he's replacing.

Meanwhile, over here in the States, we've got Balica coming in for an aging Goluza, while nobody else seems to be stepping up to take the spot from Peru Buntic.

The Americans are slowly falling apart in this game

Romero just hammered them with seven straight points

I'd argue they have the best duo of pivots on the planet.

Urios and Garabaya.

Romero is playing out of his mind

The Danes can't stop him for anything--it's unreal

It’s easy for Romer to tear through a defense when he’s playing against a roster this weak. I honestly wonder what Balic would have done if he were stepping onto the court in his position instead.

Goddammit, at this rate, they’re going to crown Romero as the best point guard in the whole tournament. 🙄

When things go south, they just go south. 🤮

If this pace continues, I suppose we might actually see a total blowout against the Canadians tomorrow. 🙄

So, tomorrow is the battle for third place.

USA vs. Denmark

It’s going to be a grind.

I'm not holding my breath for a win.
