Man, Romer is absolutely stunning...

I honestly don't care what the Spaniards think; they can go jump. Honestly, I feel like we could probably take down the French tomorrow without much trouble at all...

man, I guess I'm just seeing now that Novak Djokovic is actually struggling out there...🙄

it's pretty obvious today just isn't one of those days where the sports go my way...

We’re going to end up in 4th place again—just another year of getting screwed by the big money teams fighting for that 3rd spot

God, I hate my luck

Tomorrow is the rematch against Canada 🙄 and I’ve got a bad feeling we aren't walking away with anything.

Come on, start a new thread

otherwise we’re just going to keep rehashing that old US - Denmark debate

I'm honestly not sure who I should even root for tomorrow. 🙄
I have a real distaste for the Spanish, though I suppose my feelings toward the French aren't quite as intense, despite them knocking us out earlier today. 😁
Still, they don't stand a chance against the Spanish.

I can't stand those guys from Spain, and I guess I dislike the French a little less, even though they knocked us out today. 😁
But man, they don't stand a chance against the Spanish team.

and they really don't have any kind of chance, if I dare say so...

We wouldn't have had any either, so I suppose I can rest easy.😁

Honestly, I'd much rather see the French take the fall than us. 😁

Like David said, sometimes you just take the bronze instead of choking in the finals. 😁 Maybe they knew they couldn't hang with the guys from Chicago, so they decided a bronze medal was the smarter play. 😁

Just wait until tomorrow! The French are going to absolutely crush you all and walk away with the win! 😍

Props to the guys, especially Balić and Spreme. The rest were just okay—Spoljarić and Dominiković definitely lagged behind the pack, though I guess they’ve got that weird, small-town sense of humor going for them, if you can call it that. But hey, whatever. Honestly, we really ought to give Lin a break now; he’s done his part and enough is enough. I'm actually low-key terrified he'll turn into a total pushover next, because if that happens, we are absolutely screwed.

So everyone is coming for Miller—as if he’s the sole reason for this loss. He isn't the only one to blame here.

Look, I’m not really out to get him, I’m just grouping him in with the backcourt rotation as part of those "defensive pillars" that were basically non-existent—though, granted, the absolute mess our wingers made in the last two or three games didn't exactly help things along. 😲And another thing if you ask me... playing without any actual wingers. Honestly, I think we’re probably the last team in this tournament to make it to the semifinals without wings, or more accurately, by running a pivot through the wing position. 🙄The guys aren't even the main problem here; Coach has just completely lost the plot during this championship, which is why I find it pretty hilarious that he’s out there insisting the players have nothing to answer for. This whole thing was a massive letdown. I'm tired of hearing the usual excuses about injuries or how bad the weather is; why does it always feel like some weird bad luck from the West hits us right at the finish line? There's definitely something going on within the team camp...

Man, "struggling"? Give me a break. How many times did he actually get a clean look at the basket from the wing before anyone could even claim he wasn't playing well?

Like David said, better to take the bronze than choke in the finals. 😁 Maybe they knew they couldn't hang with those guys from Mexico, so they just settled for third. 😁

Yeah, right. We showed we were better than the French and then decided to just hand them the win after leading 9-6.
Let them go out there tomorrow and make fools of themselves against those scrubs.
We’ll just give the Danes another handball lesson tomorrow and laugh at those clueless Frenchies when they blow it in the championship game. 😁 😁

We’re going to give the Danes a masterclass in handball tomorrow, then have a good laugh at those naive Frenchmen when they miss everything in the championship game.😁 😁

Right, because that 9:6 lead was just us showing off how much better we are.😁

You can keep dreaming about how we'll show them... maybe we'll try playing with four pivots next time.😁 😁 😁 😁

No—this time we're going with a 3-wing setup.

👍 🙏

I have to admit, that was easily the most brilliant analysis of today's game... 🤣
