It seems even Balic has finally lost his patience with him and all his constant whining.

Tomorrow’s going to be a total washout too. They basically ran straight into a brick wall, and honestly, I have no clue how they’re supposed to recover from this. I just don't get it—how can a team suffer such catastrophic blowouts in two major tournaments back-to-back, like the last World Cup and now this championship?

It might just be that they're physically spent by the time they reach the semifinals. Since they lack a deep bench to rotate in, they can't catch their breath or stay at peak performance like the other teams.
I've noticed in my own workouts that human endurance eventually hits a breaking point after ten days of intense, hour-long sessions, especially when you're playing against teams with enough substitutes to keep everyone fresh.
