Well, if you’re asking about PCR, it’s pretty much the gold standard. You just toss your samples into the machine, set the program, and you're free to grab a drink or hit the restroom whenever you want for a couple of hours. Honestly, if you get a little too tipsy and decide to skip heading back to the lab, it’s not exactly the end of the world. 🙂

ari peka nikkola said:Uh, what even is PCR? And is there like, a bathroom break or a beer break during this thing?😕

It's a polymerase chain reaction. Now you get it.😬

Honestly, you basically get a few hours to hit the restroom—you just forget about it unless the power goes out. The only thing is, I always run a "hot start," so I have to watch my clock to make sure I don't miss any steps or mess up the timing, but otherwise, worrying about breaks is just wasting time.🙂

No way!!!!!!!!! How did I not think of that!
You ever see that Hordak figure where he shoots that crazy rotating thing out of his chest??
Man, here's my personal top 5:

1. HORDAK
2. KING HISS
3. NINJRAI (honestly felt like that cousin I used to fight with—Death to him!)
4. HORDE TROOPER - probably the toughest figure ever made🙏 🙏 🙏
5. RIO BLAST

Special mention—RAM MAN, for whom I would totally trade Prince Adam and Cringer.

My Top 3 Sonic Youth pilgrimages from back when The Abyss was still blasting Gorgoroth:

Now it looks like I'm claiming Sonic Youth is actually better than Gorgoroth... which is a pretty bold move to make in front of Mejrema.

I always feel like some of those masters are just total nonsense. Personally, I’d go with some lizard guy with massive hands. Can't recall the name. Or maybe someone who turns into a rock so you can just roll him around. Name escapes me too. But honestly, I think the best He-Man would be some special edition version. Imagine a He-Man that works like a backpack filled with those little red caps for fake BB guns—every single punch he lands would come with a loud bang. 🙂

So, what about that He-Man guy—the one who gets winded by a little chest tap and then somehow ends up sidelined by a house cat? Or King Hiss? Two-Bad? Cyclon? Leech? It’s almost laughable... :mala beba:

original post:

"Barbie—which has been Mattel's massive bestseller since way back in 1959—was recently used in a study involving kids aged 7 to 11 to see if they still connected with their early childhood.

The responses from the hundred or so participants were honestly pretty shocking.

'The doll sparked rejection, hatred, and even violence. Girls seem to think torturing Barbie is just some acceptable way to have fun—they actually find the whole thing kind of cool,' noted Dr. Agnes Nairn from the University of Bath.

'The ways they mess with the doll range from pulling hair to decapitation, burning, hitting, or even putting her in the microwave. Interestingly, when asked why they reject Barbie, the girls mostly say she’s too babyish. By denying Barbie, they’re essentially trying to distance themselves from their own past.'

Boys, on the other hand, show a much higher level of nostalgia and attachment toward Action Man.''

Barbie was basically just a lab rat for my experiments—I’d drop her from skyscrapers to test terminal velocity like a little parachute, or use her as target practice for my toy guns... eventually, she ended up getting scalped with a literal scalpel. Honestly, just a pointless little toy.

On the other hand, I still have my favorite vintage toy truck used for hauling my Matchbox cars and teddy bear (both of which are about as old as I am).

"Guys, unlike girls, dudes hold onto a massive amount of nostalgia and stay weirdly attached to Action mana.

🤣

My all-time favorites:

Maya—this plastic doll with limbs that constantly fell off. It used to drive me absolutely insane. Her biggest childhood trauma? Getting shoved into a suitcase for an unplanned trip to San Francisco.
2. 2. Mikik Pretty much everyone in my generation grew up with this little brat.
3. Zucko (that pathetic little yellow teddy bear who once fell headfirst into a box of Nerds and got stuck to some half-melted candy, leaving him with a permanent "Gorbachev-style" stain all over him)
4. Volko (that satin wolf I swiped from my sister—she had this killer turquoise jumpsuit, so he was basically destined to play Hobin Rood)
5. tuljan (Back when my old man went to Sweden a few years ago, I hinted that I wanted a plushie. He actually lost it at first, asking if I was insane for wanting stuffed toys in my mid-twenties... but he ended up bringing me one anyway. It looks freaking realistic and is still the best plushie I've ever owned, let alone seen.)

Man, I’ve got two of them myself—one big, one small! 😍 They’ve already caused quite a bit of trouble 😳 😁

A sweet little secret... geez, it actually took me a few seconds to realize what we were talking about 😬 I haven't heard that term mentioned in about 7867436279269278954870294 years.
