But seriously, why did they make the new packaging opaque? That was the only way to check if the chocolate coating had gone gray...

I can’t even resist an unwrapped Fry's bar if I hit the convenience store early enough in the morning. Those elementary school nostalgia cravings just don't quit...

👍Exactly. I always used to judge the quality by the specific shade of the chocolate... 😁 But honestly, the worst part is that Hershey's isn't even that good, yet it hits the spot every single time. Maybe it's just a childhood thing. And those old Fry's bars were elite... man, those summer breaks felt endless.
Regarding everything else—I can't stand marzipan. I've given it several fair shots, but it's a lost cause. Raisins are great in any combo, same goes for dried fruit. Dried mango is my absolute favorite. Those various fruit medleys are 🙂 just like those little espresso-filled chocolate truffles you used to find at the local corner deli, though I haven't seen them in ages...

Hey there, sweetie 😬

Try being more discreet next time so you don't end up losing those two teeth you have left... 🙂

Was at the Foo Fighters show. Start was massive, middle was okay, ending was good. They played a couple of new tracks from the newer albums...

Beer was warm (seriously?), sound was too loud and muddy, but it was nice and hot out so the guys were just lounging in black and green thermal tees...

Goodnight and God bless.

Yuck. Honestly, that sounds like eating literal garbage. I have no idea how anyone can actually put that in their mouth. Gross.

Those cheap fruit chocolates that clueless guests always bring over—honestly, you only touch those when you’ve been staring at the pantry for ten minutes during a massive sugar craving. Otherwise, they’re just cluttering up the counter. 😁

But I mean... Toblerone? I would personally love to have a word with whoever decided to shove that almond nougat inside that fills every single corner of your mouth...

rowdywalker3 said:Are raisins basically the same thing as dried cranberries?

If they are, then they aren't candied, for heaven's sake! I guess.

cizibi 😬
Who actually said they were candied anyway...

.

Personally, I love it. You finish the chocolate and you still have that lingering flavor left to snack on.😁

I’m not really a fan of Toblerone—it's just not my thing—but my sister absolutely lives for it. She’s always finding some crazy way to score the biggest box they sell at the grocery store 😁

Is that the one that's like three feet long? 😲 I'm in.

If they are, then that's not candied, damn it. Probably.

Facts. 👍

michael_jackass said:I'm not kidding about the flowers or the marzipan. Absolute nightmare. It makes me want to eat pancakes with mayo. Wait— 🤔 actually, I did try it and it was killer!!!!! 😁

Whatever, bless your little hearts and those tired taste buds... 🙄
You shouldn't even be allowed to touch or smell marzipan.

Abyss said:it didn't come from the cafeteria. Corny is a high-end chocolate bar.

They serve everything in the dining halls now. Even those little Dorin bars. 😍

At this rate, we'll be getting Kinder eggs too. 😁

Speaking of fruit chocolate, I can't stand the ones with liquid filling. Gross.

Honestly, you only really eat Toblerone when there’s nothing else left or if you're just being polite... but anyway, here’s my definitive ranking of chocolate fillings from best to absolute garbage:

1. Plain. Just pure cocoa for baking. Not quite sugar-free, but not sickly sweet either. You know the kind—the stuff so hard you can't even cut it with a knife, so your only real option is to smash it against the counter with everything you've got just to get a single bite...
2. Marzipan
3. Anything paired with coffee
4. Anything mixed with some kind of nougat—though it's way better folded into the batter than used as a center
5. Tiramisu and other similar sins
6. Boozy fillings (depends on the brand, could be decent or incredible)
7. Ice cream centers
8. Liquid fruit fillings, though honestly, they're hit or miss
9. Standard milk chocolate with zero extras
10. With styro... sorry, I meant rice

ya:raan said:We were at the XO show! It was alright. The start was massive-scale boring, the middle was just okay, but the end was solid. They brought out some legends from back in the day to play two or three tracks—some surprises and stuff from the newer generation.

So, why are Malice and Noise trending right now, if we're being precise? 🥳

ya:raan said:The beer was terrible (seriously?!), the sound was way too loud and muddy, but it felt warm enough that Semezdin and Muharem were acting all tough in their black and green short-sleeved thermal shirts.

Yeah, they looked like some nerd cult. Shout out to vandeley and alopex! Also, a quick word of advice to everyone jumping into the mosh pit: if the temperature inside the venue is over 77 degrees and you’ve decided to spend the night slamming into strangers, maybe lose the sweater. It helps avoid that "someone just threw a wet sock at me" feeling when you collide with people, and it'll save you from pneumonia once you step back outside into the night. You're welcome.

Sound & beer: scary.

Top 5 things I finally tossed:

1. Those bell-bottoms from freshman year. They started out black but faded to this weird grayish-blue mess by the end. Had to ditch them because the seams were basically splitting under my butt, and since the zipper was shot, I was literally using safety pins to keep them up.
2. My burgundy Chuck Taylors. Easily my favorite pair ever. Had to let them go because the soles literally melted after working all summer. Haven't thrown them out yet though.😁
3. My dad's blue Adidas shirt from the 70s. The sleeves are insanely long—like, 12 inches too long. Mom decided it was time to toss it.😳
4. Some random animal bone a friend gave me for a New Year's party back in the day. Wore it as a necklace for ages. Didn't even have to throw it away; it just vanished.😢
5. A sweater I wore in elementary school. It meant a lot because my late aunt knitted it for me. It eventually just fell apart. Plus, I grew out of it.😢

Columbo👍

Let's support American businesses!

Has anyone tried the new packaging for Moon yet? I'm wondering if they actually improved the flavor along with the look.

Carol Jackson45 said:My top 5 most regretted fashion choices:

👏 👏 👏

1. Those beat-up black Converse where the right one was completely shredded from the toes down to the heel. I keep them hidden at the bottom of my closet because if my mom saw them, she’d toss them immediately.
2. Those hideous black boots with silver accents 😍 from the mall. I spent weeks obsessing over them because some girl in fourth grade who I thought was the coolest person ever 😍 actually owned a pair. When my parents finally bought them for me, we got into a fight, and they were confiscated as punishment. I wore them twice. 🙂
3. A blue and white nautical striped shirt. Outgrown.
4. My absolute favorite jeans—several different pairs. Outgrown.
Yeah.

Laura Gonzalez44 🙂

...so, keeping it brief—here’s my list of unforgivable fashion crimes:

1. Every pair of pants I left back in Washington, D.C. over the summer somehow ended up in my closet looking slightly cropped and hemmed with this weird, thick material. The excuse? "They were dragging on the floor." 🙄
2. That blue striped tee where I spent way too much time carefully picking out the threads at the sleeves just so I could shove my thumbs through. The reason given: "It was torn." 🙄
3. Those navy fleece pants I lived in during high school hiking trips—the ones I used to patch with heavy bright red thread so you could actually see the battle scars from brambles, burrs, and rocks. They’ve been patched with blue thread instead. 🙂 Excuse me? "Because you wouldn't want the stitches to show." 🙄

My top 5 ice creams:

1. classic vanilla cone
2. Nutty Buddy (anyone remember those ones with the extra chocolate crunch?)
3. Macho Vanilla
4. King Double
5. 🤔 ... did I miss Ben & Jerry's?

Top 10 childhood gums, countdown style:

1. Those little round plastic balls—you'd get like 15 in a pack and they’d lose all flavor in two minutes
2. Hubba Bubba—my first real gum, back when they had those sticky stickers inside
3. Chunga Lunga (with those stupid pictures nobody actually wanted)
4. Those coin-shaped gums
5. The cigarette-shaped ones
6. The tube-style gum
7. Bubble-Double
8. Softy
9. Effeta 😬
10. Brooklyn
