...anyway, I'm off to go grab some BBQ 🙂 🙂

I mean, seriously—it's just a woman posing naked on an album cover 🤔 I have no clue why you guys are obsessing over this band so much.

I'm out. Time for lunch. 🙂

1. French cuisine - the absolute worst offender when it comes to cluttering up tables, ruining tablecloths, and making buffets a total mess

Honestly, I can't even look at it without feeling nauseous... I won't get into a graphic, descriptive breakdown here, but the bottom line is that ever since then, I've been avoiding it like the plague...

I wouldn't dare😍 group cod alongside these two villains. —I personally didn't even touch the stuff until I was an adult—so perhaps there is still some hope left. 😬

Not a chance.
Don't you dare serve that pathetic, stinking cod with French 😍 and pork 😍 (since when did anyone even eat pork anymore? 🤔 )

By the way, throw some stuffed cabbage rolls on there. 🙂

(I was just thinking about it in a general sense—you know, like during that whole Christmas and New Year's stretch leading up to the holidays—so I guess I was wondering if everyone's diving into pork during that time.)

I'm not quite following you here. Are you saying you don't like cabbage rolls? 🙂

Honestly, who even has the time for all this?
All I can really see myself managing is a classic cod and stuffing combo one weekend, then maybe some cabbage rolls or maybe a French roast the next. What am I missing out on here?

Yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of cabbage rolls. 🙂 🙂

A quick trip down memory lane—here’s a list of movies and cartoons that used to be staples on NBC every single Christmas...

Frank Capra’s "It's a Wonderful Life"—arguably one of the most beautiful films ever made. Period. 🙂
"How the Grinch Stole Christmas"—the 1960s animation by Chuck Jones... I'm talking about the classic, not that Jim Carrey version.
"Bernard and the Genie"—that British comedy where Rowan Atkinson plays the villain.

There was also this one cartoon... I think it was called "Christmas Every Day," but Google and IMDb aren't doing me any favors here... 🤔

Thanks for the reminder, I actually have that recorded and really should get it on the screen.😍

And honestly, Rowan Atkinson always feels like the bad guy to me, don't you think? Even when he's playing Mr. Bean.🤔

Well... I suppose I should have anticipated needing two posts just to get hit back like this. 😬

Regardless... I think the film is beautiful—writing a melodrama that doesn't descend into pure mush is an incredibly difficult tightrope walk.

Then again, maybe that mission wouldn't have been quite so impossible in less cynical times. 😢

That list is actually pretty solid. I'm going to start brainstorming my own. 😈

Maybe Frank Capra's *It's a Wonderful Life* is actually the most beautiful movie ever made—I guess. 🙂

Rolls-Royce, man... maybe? 🙂

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas"—that old Chuck Jones cartoon from the sixties... not that thing with Jim Carrey.

The best part about Christmas—after all the heavy eating and food comas—is that we finally get a movie to watch. I guess until about three years ago, there was always a special broadcast every year, but now they just throw a film at us instead. 😢
I guess I just miss the Grinch—maybe it's just me. 😢

"Bernard and the Ghost"—a British comedy featuring Rowan Atkinson as the villain, I guess.

Oh, wow—just beautiful. 😍

Here’s a quick rundown of the random subreddits I stumbled upon today:

1. http://www.reddit.com/r/unpopularopinion/

(I don't really follow this stuff and honestly can't make head or tail of half of it, but I get the feeling I owe these people 🙏)

Honestly, those people are totally nuts. Why even bother reading them with them? 😬

I'm giving up on the whole "what would I even do with these lists" idea because I'm just not in the mood today and I'm feeling a bit teary-eyed. 😢

And then—just when you think you're done—you start working on an "oh my god, what would I do without..." 🙂 list anyway.

The top 4 things I "love" about the chaos leading up to Zacarias:

1. The sheer arrogance of the retail staff—you know the type, where they look at you like you’re some kind of inconvenience just because you’re actually buying those damn holiday gifts they're peddling.
2. The total lack of basic courtesy; nobody even bothers with a simple "Happy Holidays" after you've handed over your hard-earned cash.
3. That aggressive, almost militant irritability that seems to be infecting everyone out in the streets lately.
4. The absolute nightmare of traffic jams clogging up every single major highway and side street.

🙂
