That sounds straight out of a horror movie. 😲

Since we're talking about wrecked teeth, I trashed mine at a water park. I tried going down a slide headfirst and belly-first even though the sign right next to it said strictly no doing that. Then I sat up, totally panicking because my tooth cracked, and just slid all the way to the bottom. The Space Cadet lost his mind 😬

The two best responses to dental trauma:

LJ - That’s actually pretty badass. You look punk now, though you might have a hard time learning how to smoke with teeth like those 😬
A - My brother spent years trying to break his teeth in that exact same way just so he could look like Billy Joe Armstrong from Green Day 😬

Yes !!! 🙏 🙏 🙏

5. Prayer for the Dying (not necessarily the strongest, but it holds a special place in my heart)
4. Fear of the Dark Trilogy
3. Live After Death
2. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
1. Somewhere in Time (obviously)

Special bonus: the Ace Combat single.

Harold, do you happen to have a collection of all the single covers in high resolution? I could really use them... 🙂

Truly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. 😍

I suppose people like Drake or Havertz might think their versions are more aesthetic...

Because of that, my gums are exposed; I cut both my top and bottom inner lips and they swelled up like crazy, and my gums hurt like hell. It’s not life-threatening or anything, I was just totally shocked when I saw how bloody my mouth was and felt with my tongue that part of my tooth was literally tearing away and wasn't where it was supposed to be. 😳

Yeah, it definitely hit harder than it did me. I saw how you looked on Friday, but I bet it looks even worse now that the swelling has set in and everything has cooled down. 😢

Good luck with all that. 🙂

One time, I tripped and flew a few feet in a swampy area and slammed into the ground so hard I was convinced I broke my tailbone—not my lucky day, 🙏 since some idiot shoved me with everything he had while walking past. 🙂 I couldn't walk, sit, or lie down for days... and I was still sore for weeks after. Honestly, it still hurts sometimes. 😢

But the best part? I was wearing a white T-shirt, and when I hit the ground, I landed right on someone's wet shoe print, which transferred perfectly onto my back. 😲 Just imagine my mom's face when she saw that. 🤣 🤣

My Roommate smashed two of his the summer before last while out on vacation. He decided to dive headfirst into an empty pool at a disc golf course. Absolute idiot 😍

Good grief, what on earth were you all doing over there? Did you decide to paint yourselves black and then go rolling around in the rain?

I cracked a tooth on a bagel about a year ago. It was just one of my premolars, though, so it wasn't nearly as traumatic as losing one of those front teeth 😬—which honestly wouldn't even be interesting.

It was a bit of a blessing in disguise that it happened while I was sleeping. There were ten people right there who immediately started smashing their teeth in much more violent ways 😬. My head is still full of those surreal images, but at least I got my dental work done. 😬

edit: here are some New Year's photos 😳

Yeah, me too. I wiped out on some debris at FM and my tailbone took every single step on the way down to the beach. There were a ton of them.😢

Some of my dumbest wipeouts:

1. During a high school masquerade, I slipped down the stairs from Times Square to the Basement. Felt nothing.
2. Jumped into a pool and my foot got stuck in the grate. Broke my toe. And it was the first day of summer.😢
3. Slammed my knees while running at the sports complex in Makarska. Tore the skin off so bad I couldn't shower for a month, then the second I finally got the scab off, I hit the mud again and reopened the wound, dragging the whole misery out for another two weeks.
4. That one I mentioned earlier where I busted my tailbone. Couldn't leave the house for two weeks, and my physics teacher actually thought I was faking it just to skip his class and failed me for the semester.
5. Fell on my knees while rollerblading, just standing there. Result: ligament strains, a dislocation, a month and a half of braces, plus another month and a half of physical therapy. Just great.

😲 😲 😲

The worst stairs ever. Every single step is about a foot high, and there are way too many of them.

They’re the only stairs in the world where I genuinely hope nobody else ever has to trip on them.😁

Good grief, what on earth were you all doing 😲 I can barely recall a more pathetic wipeout than the time I faceplanted right into the edge of a staircase because my hands were shoved in my pockets 😁

I've got it. You can find pretty much everything there. Just head over to SoundCloud. Look for the Iron Maiden - Covers collection and download the whole thing. It won't take up much space. There are some really great tracks in there.

I'm going to post some photos from New Year's Eve at Times Square. I'll caption them "New Year." Hang tight for a bit. Give me about 10 minutes.

Ugh, I really need to get started on my gift list...😁

Oh, are you talking about that party in Times Square? I actually had practice right before, so I hadn't touched a drop. I showed up stone-cold sober and just left immediately because everyone else was wasted, and I’ve always hated being the only one in a room where nobody is on my level.

Here are my favorite falls:

I cracked my left forearm while skiing (well, technically it happened right outside a bar at 3:00 AM, but let's call it what we want)
Then, just a month later, I got back on my bike for the first time and managed to wreck my right arm in the exact same fashion. A Rottweiler lunged at me, and I ended up doing a full somersault over everything.

Aside from those incidents, I haven't really broken anything else. It’s just one of those things where bad luck decides to strike twice.

Honestly, they're the only rocks in the world where I look down and think, "I wouldn't wish tripping on these on my worst enemy."😁

God protects the drunk fools.😬

I remember everyone crowding around to see what was going down, while I just stood up, shook off the hangover, and marched away humming something like "I am The Little Prince"...🙄

No way, I don't believe you🤣 I always imagined someone breaking their neck on those stairs.

My own dramatic falls involve slamming full speed into a VA hospital fence while flying down a steep hill (broken arm) and smashing my knee on the concrete outside a cabin so hard I actually saw the bone.😬

It could have ended badly, but it ended triumphantly—using that same old bike from back in the day (turns out I spent my whole childhood overestimating how well I could brake with my feet instead of learning how to actually use the brakes), I’m cruising down the street, can't stop in time, and end up facing a flight of 25 steps, then a flat stretch, then another 10 steps. I just closed my eyes and trusted I'd hit the bottom.😁 I was the first one on the block to successfully ride a bike down those stairs, regardless of gender.😎

Mr. Wrong said:A buddy of mine totally trashed himself two summers ago at the beach. Headfirst dive into an empty pool at a rental house. Total maniac.

So yeah, this guy... seems so calm, humble, and chill on the surface. 😁

stormywolf39 said:I can actually recall one pretty serious fall where I smacked my face right into the edge of a staircase—with my hands still shoved in my pockets.

Happened to a guy I know, too. He was standing on the steps outside a Starbucks when some jerk shoved him from behind; he went headfirst down the stairs with his hands in his pockets. Now he’s got a massive scar right between his eyebrows.

The all-time Hall of Fame for falls:

1. The absolute most legendary and embarrassing: I was in a packed college cafeteria, stepped on a stray french fry, and just wiped out—flailing my arms everywhere (holding a plate of pizza, mind you) and sliding several feet across the floor. 🤣 My boyfriend tried to catch me, obviously failed, and laughed so hard I could barely get up off the ground. Needless to say, I bolted out of that dining hall at light speed. 😳

2. When I was drunker than a sailor, I fell into a concrete hole about a foot deep near my high school—right by the apple tree—because I thought it was only like 10cm deep and tried to sit down. 😵 That same guy from the first story thought I was dead and nearly had a heart attack, until he heard me dying of laughter somewhere down in the dark. 😬 My knees were absolutely shredded and bloody, but luckily, that was it.

3. Walking to the dining hall with my boyfriend (the same one. Looking back, I have my doubts. He really used to sweep me off my feet 😍 )—we were running late, he yanked my arm to hurry up, I tripped over the base of a bollard, took flight, and while he tried to steady me, I realized my head was heading straight for a metal post. I threw myself sideways mid-air, knocked him into me, and absolutely demolished my knee.

4. We went to a punk show at a local fire station, got off at the wrong stop, and a whole crowd of us ended up tumbling down this massive ditch no one saw coming, umbrellas and all. My friend was actually super proud of herself because she managed to pull a full somersault—something you couldn't even do in gym class 😬—but then she died when she tripped over me (she didn't see me sitting on the ground 🙄 ) and landed right on my umbrella. 😢

5. On a middle school field trip in the woods, a friend and I burst out of a thicket onto the trail, lost our footing, and slid down the slope on our stomachs for a few feet. She was gripping my ankles the whole way. 🤣

As for me, I once grew this massive, multi-colored bump right in the middle of my forehead. Lasted about two weeks. 😁

Then there was the time I tried to dive into the ocean, full speed, only to smack directly into the one single rock on a two-hundred-meter stretch of beach. 🙏 🙏

I don't know what to tell you—it’s just one of those things. Sometimes you look at the landscape and realize how much has shifted. It's frustrating, honestly. I was thinking about this the other day while grabbing coffee in Chicago—just staring out the window, wondering where the hell the consistency went. Everything feels a bit fragmented lately. Just my two cents. says:
All I got was this massive, multi-colored bruise right in the middle of my forehead—lasted a good two weeks. 😁
And here I was, thinking unicorns were actually mythical creatures. 😁

😉

I honestly used to think Legolas was just some fairy tale character—until my sister ran right into him in New York City. 😲 😍 😍

Reminds me of another one... some buddies and I were rolling down a muddy hill after a party in Chicago. Best part? We hitched a ride with some fancy Jeep carrying three people, and there I was, covered in filth, sitting in a total stranger's lap.

If those are actually your friends, tell them we're sorry and that one little mishap isn't a reason to stop hitchhiking 😬
