Tooth decay.

stormywolf39, I need to ask this guy what the latest possible age is to start working on my career. There’s definitely an age limit somewhere.

Top 5 highlights from last night's dream:

5. Finding out Franz Ferdinand is playing a show this Saturday in New York City
4. The sheer stress of trying to choose between that and a Coke concert on the same night (I need better stage support, damn it)
3. Watching some random late-'80s special on TV where Steven and Thompson are singing "Hey, Americans"😂
2. Buying vinyl records (obviously)
1. Sex

What kind of God takes you from point 1 straight into the first Monday morning of the work week?🙂

I happened to stumble upon the lead singer from Nickelback last night (I actually spotted their CD tucked away in the hard rock section over at Best Buy 🙂), just like how you might be waiting for someone outside an apartment complex in Chicago, though that building looked more like a run-down corner shop. To top it all off, I ended up having a brief encounter with a George Clooney lookalike sporting vampire teeth made out of toothpicks...

You idiot, he’s not the singer from Nickelback. That’s Elwuss, and he lives in Brooklyn... 😬

My top 3 bike crashes

1. Riding along the barrier between the pedestrian walkway and the railroad bridge right after a heavy rain. Front wheel slipped, and I went down. Of course, I didn't hit the pavement on the right, but slid down the embankment on the left instead. It hurt like hell...

2. Happened today. Commuting on a backroad past the company where I earn my living. Lost focus for a split second while climbing an icy patch. The front wheel and the bike slid right, leaving me hitting the ground hard on my left side. My phone is trashed. Just bought it, too...

3. Last winter. The first real snowstorm. Down near the downtown transit hub. A frozen parking lot and a moment of pure curiosity. I wondered what would happen if I slammed the rear brake. Well, the back wheel started acting like a wild Mustang in mating season, and I almost ended up under a streetcar...

I wrote about 150 pages on this earlier... I’ve broken my arm in half once or twice during some pretty epic wipeouts, but nothing beats the feeling of getting both wheels jammed between tram tracks. Happened back in downtown Chicago at a busy intersection. Between the sheer pain of being busted up and the embarrassment of being humiliated in front of a crowd of onlookers... it wasn't pretty.

David Sullivan4 said:yeah, I basically just checked out while standing there surrounded by a bunch of losers.

haha, now that takes me back. Honestly, I feel like I’ve had to mentally check out of your nonsense plenty of times before—like that New Year's Eve back in 2000, if I remember right. You were so wasted you were practically leaning against a stoplight just to stay upright, and I honestly just didn't have the energy to drag your ass around anymore.
Some idiot named John couldn't believe it and spent half an hour lecturing me, going, "...but, but... he's your friend?!"

It's every man for himself, Johnny, every man for himself...

That idiot John couldn't wrap his head around it and spent half an hour whining to me like, "...but, but... he's your friend?!"

It wasn't great, but it was an interesting sequel to that taxi story:

guy: man, let's go get some steak
driver: you're gonna barf on this
guy: nah, I'm good, but if he starts puking, I'm stuffing his head in my backpack
driver: do it right now, I swear

The backpack just had a bottle of whiskey in it.

If you're gonna brag, tell that story about vomiting unidentified bits of deli meat all over a brand new Mercedes Uber after twenty shots of vodka. That's when I really looked up to you...

Hmm. I see a few logical gaps here. A dog isn't exactly going to touch pork, so I'm just not quite following how YOU would even carry him 😁

I don't get it either. At one point, I wanted to warn him that we shouldn't screw up this project like they did with the bridge over the Mississippi, but I couldn't even remember the name of the river running through the middle of town. I'll stop now. These confessions are starting to sound like vividcanyon2 or number one...

During the break, some Turkish guys are starting to move in...

To be fair, we were all being pretty soft back when we hung out at Fadil’s place, so this is coming from somewhere. There was some kind of mess involved. I was a vegetarian back then, so it didn't really hit me—whether it was an animal, a person, or a friend, it all felt the same to me... 🙂

My all-time greatest fails

1. I was riding a cart down a freshly paved road near my grandma's place in Miami Beach. I wiped out hard because my foot got snagged, sliding about 20 yards on my backside. The aftermath? A bruised rear end and three weeks of being unable to sit comfortably.

2. Tried jumping off a tree to impress some girl. The result? Several broken bones in my leg and a month stuck in a cast.

3. Got hit in the head by a rock while swimming at Miami Beach. Out of a hundred million people there, a friend from elementary school manages to hit me. Ended up needing three stitches in my forehead.

4. Hit a tree directly with 4. sleds. Now I'm dealing with a deviated septum and chronic sinus inflammation because of it.

The best injury I ever inflicted. I accidentally stuck a dart right in my buddy's head during a game.

Yeah, true enough.
It’s a shame I can't put together a full list titled How I Vomited All Over an S-Class Dashboard.
Just me, some beef jerky, and pickles, revisiting Fadil's place.
