Right, but what’s the deal with the spelling of "kebap"? Why isn't it "kebab"?🤔

I suspect they were just trying to market it as an authentic local American staple and protect the recipe.😬

Joe... you're something else...
He wasn't any better than I remember...
Is that from that Iranian guy?

Not sure if he’s Iranian. Location: head past the highway toward Union Station, turn right onto the street just after you pass the currency exchange, and walk about a hundred yards... btw, a Subway costs around $10... $5.00Dammit...

Drew Adams58 said:If we're talking about that guy at the train station, I have to say three absolutely insane things about him.
1- his pita bread is actually decent
2. That spicy sauce is pure madness, looks just like honey
3. He was so chill about letting us slide $5.00 when we were heading back from hanging out with Omar. When we mentioned we were just coming from New York City, all he said was, "Hey, you guys have good food over there," and told us not to worry about paying for that last wrap.

Seriously, how many times am I gonna have to type the word kebab in this thread...

Wait, are we talking right at the station or just past it, across the street?
The one at the station is originally from Pakistan 😍 and besides the fact that he looks like this: 😬 and doesn't speak a lick of English, he had incredible taste in music. He even wrote down who we should listen to on a little scrap of paper (from a copied cassette 🙏)... honestly, I've never heard better tunes in a fast-food joint in my life. Some kind of local stuff, you know, 👍
As for the food, I only grabbed a wrap from him once and let me tell you, it wasn't exactly life-changing...

He thinks it's bad when it's actually great, but then he's stuck dealing with the aftermath later... go figure! 🙂

The guy at the station was from Pakistan 😍 and besides looking like this: 😬 he didn't speak a word of English, but man, he had great taste in music. He even wrote down who we were listening to on a little note (from a copied cassette 🙏); I’ve honestly never heard better music in a fast-food joint. Some local stuff of theirs 👍

Grand Central Station

The top two things that have gone wrong for me in the last half hour:
1. My boss called a meeting for 5:30 PM (the second time in two days!), and I have rehearsal at 7:00 PM. I won't make it home in time for dinner, though maybe I'll grab a quick bite at a 7-Eleven, even if it isn't great.
2. I have to head down to the police station tomorrow morning at 9:30 for an interview.

Work is such a grind.

Ugh, that one is my #1 too, and nothing's come close yet. 👍

2. stakor on a plane gets handed one hazelnut and an ice cube that he has to share with everyone else

3. poetry competition

Those are all the Sunday ones; from the daily stuff, I can only pick out the cycles...

p.s. Best KFC is in Berlin. 🙂

Joe once grabbed a kebab in Berlin from some guy with a massive beard who couldn't even pronounce my name—he actually asked if I was Russian 😁

The food wasn't terrible, but honestly, I was in such a damn good mood that day, I could've been handed a sandwich made of cardboard and Styrofoam and just gone "mmmmmmmmmmmm, delicious!!!" 😬

I’m feeling completely stressed out—honestly, just beyond exhausted by the sheer weight of everything lately. It feels like one thing after another keeps piling up, and I can barely catch my breath to process it all. There isn't much room to breathe when you're constantly playing defense against life's little disasters. The user says:
Kevin Chavez3 — we used to call that old Citroen "The Frog" back in the day.

👍

Sean Lee7 said:Shark !!! I swear, forget about it. A BMW is basically just a Shark !!!.
This is a frog. 😁

Well, what exactly is left then? Toyota Camry I don't even know where to start with this one—it’s just one of those situations where you look at the options and realize there isn't a "right" answer, only different shades of questionable. It’s like being stuck between a rock and a hard place, except the rock is made of bad decisions and the hard place is just more of the same. You're sitting there, weighing the pros and cons, trying to find some semblance of logic, but honestly? It feels like a bit of a wash. One way leads to a headache, and the other way leads to a migraine. I’ve been down this road before—remember that mess back in Chicago last year?—and let me tell you, whether you pick option A or option B, you’re still going to end up cleaning up the fallout. So, you're left staring at the choice, wondering if anyone actually thought this through before presenting it to us. Either/or... what a joke. Mitsubishi Motors?
Edit: The ID19-DS23 is a total "frog."

Darko Vejder said:Honestly, when you look at the automotive landscape, there's just no denying that Citroën is in a league of its own—they practically own the domain of unique engineering. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the sheer level of incompetence being displayed here—it’s frankly exhausting. Every time I think we've reached a baseline of reasonable behavior, someone decides to throw a wrench in the gears just for the sake of chaos. It feels like we're constantly circling the drain, and honestly, if you aren't paying attention, you're going to get left behind in the dust. My patience isn't infinite, and quite frankly, neither is my tolerance for this kind of nonsense.

...not until he actually gets his hands on one. 🙂

Kevin Chavez3 said:I honestly couldn't care less.I can't even begin to wrap my head around the sheer level of incompetence being displayed here—it’s absolutely staggering. Honestly, I feel like I’m losing my mind just trying to process this. Every single time I log on, it feels like we’re taking one giant step backward into total chaos. It’s the same old story, isn't it? A complete lack of foresight, zero accountability, and a bunch of people acting like they have no idea what they're doing—even when the solution is staring them right in the face. I remember back when I was working in Chicago—just a small project, nothing major—and we had a similar situation where everyone was pointing fingers instead of actually fixing the problem. We spent three weeks spinning our wheels because nobody wanted to take ownership. It was exhausting, and frankly, it was embarrassing. And yet, here we are again, watching the exact same pattern repeat itself on a much larger scale. It’s infuriating. You’d think after all these years, people would have learned that you can't just ignore reality and hope it goes away. But no, apparently, we’re just destined to keep tripping over the same hurdles because nobody wants to do the actual work required to clear them. It’s ridiculous. Truly ridiculous. We dubbed this thing the Shark !!! simply because that's exactly what it looks like. Honestly, death to those people who actually claim to understand anything about cars.

Go get 'em. 🙂 "Shark !!!" is apparently just some slang term for a "frog." I know that much—I picked it up a while back while I was flipping through an old Canadian Auto magazine that had been translated into Mexican. 😁

Bad Seed said:I honestly don't know how I ended up in this situation—it’s just one of those things that makes you question everything about your choices—but apparently, eating at Monaco was a massive mistake. I’ve been stuck in the bathroom all day dealing with a complete stomach meltdown. Seriously, my digestive system is basically staging a full-scale revolt right now. Just a total disaster.
To me, that Auto looks exactly like a Shark !!!

It looks similar, but it’s just not quite there. 🙂
Heyyy, just a heads-up for everyone watching the sales—Monaco products are currently marked down by 40% over at Walmart, specifically for those of you using a Visa to pay.
