Are you actually quoting Prittpen?

I take a quick break, come back, and suddenly hunting season is officially open on me.

For what?

I take one little break to grab a coffee at Starbucks, I come back, and suddenly I've got a target on my back. It's hunting season.
What's the deal?

Why not? You just in that "run for the hills" phase of your life?

Huh? πŸ€”

I mean, don't blame me! You're the one who brought up that whole thing about Tariq FilipoviΔ‡ and gave us all something to talk about. 😁

Because you're a hot Canadian guy in glassesβ€”which, if you ask Cosm, is pretty much the vibe right now... 😁

So this lady on CNN just dropped some universal wisdom on us...

coastalpanther11 said:@dzdzihad: Yeah, it hasn't taken much of a hit, it's just that the bodywork isn't pristine anymore. He probably needs to look after the valves a bit more. Everything else seems fine. Canadians are pricey, by the way.

You're telling the truth. Walked in with a fresh haircut and the compliments were flying everywhere. Even when I was out with that metrosexual guy from Canada... yikes...

coastalpanther11 said:I disagree, Missy! He needs to ditch that whole "effortless bohemian" vibe. It’s either that, or he goes full "studying literature in Italy beatnik." The third option is just "Lacoste-style rich kid who owns everything."

Let him wear a band tee. Just maybe not one for Xiu Xiu.

Well, I already told him to suck it in, but if he's going to be out there picking fights, he should at least 😁 stay soft 😍 btw, honestly? He’s better off shirtless.

Honestly, the crazier the outfit, the better, right? I think I'll tell a few people to bring their cameras so the family won't believe their eyes when they see it.

Man, those old Quikshots... I mean, playing Sensible Soccer or Mortal Kombat back on an Amiga? Those things absolutely crushed everything else. πŸ™‚

Oh, please! I looked incredibly chic, and a friend even told me I had total professor vibes. 😁 The only thing is, nobody actually tried to hit on meβ€”except for one kid chasing after his balloon. 😬

But hey, I walked away with three great books and even snagged a free copy of the 'secret history of rock'. πŸ₯³

I picked up some cheap guidebooks at that flea market down by the pier, and it looks like I might just score MikΕ‘ić’s "moral winner" for free.
Patka mentioned there was one waiting for meβ€”costing him absolutely nothing, apparentlyβ€”after I went on and on about how great that stall was.

Seriously, I was watching this show this morning where a woman was basically trying to stage a "meet-cute" collision with some hot guy in a bookstore.😁

Susan Clark10 said:I also scored a free copy of the secret history of rock.πŸ₯³

Oh man, is that the book that claims The Birthday Party is this incredibly morbid, erratic band that sounds like rabid dogs in a junkyard? Or something like that?🀣

I need to pick that up and see what else they're throwing in there. Sounds pretty interesting.πŸ™‚

I picked up Mataković’s "Desmozgenes 2," and they actually threw in a book of poetry as a freebie. 😡 Yaraan grabbed the MatakoviΔ‡ title but turned down the poetry because he "studied literature and hates books." πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

The top three books I spotted at the book fair:

3. Mark Markovic: "George and Boban - History of Black Legion"
2. Dinko Šakić: "With Leader to the Alps"
1. Peter Janjić-Tromblon: "Thirst for Blood - Hunger for Betrayal"

We were cracking up at the first two booths. But at the third one? We didn't even dare approach... the guy looked like he might pull a bomb out from under the counter and take us all out right then and there. 😳

Honestly, it was pretty greatβ€”even that massive deep dive into hip-hop history I stumbled upon on some random site. The first thing that jumped out at me? "Crack cocaine." 😁

And then there was that Reagan biography, where you could actually see the stars and stripes reflected in his glasses on the cover.

My definitive ranking of bands managed by Malcolm McLaren (who was also a total disaster):
1. New York Dolls
2. Adam and the Ants
3. Bow Wow Wow
4. Sex Pistols
