If I remember right, I said I agreed with you😁 but honestly, that whole appendix thing happened so long ago it doesn't even matter anymore.

My personal list of dead bars:

1. Mississippi River & various US industrial towns
2. Textile Mill Pub
3. Orebić’s Place
4. The Bocce Club
5. Kalnik Tavern

And I'm still a little nervous about the renovation at Two lips.😁 😁

Since we’re already on the topic of barflies, I might as well give you my top 5 absolute legends from my workplace—the ultimate "Top 12" list of cheapskates and heavy drinkers, American style.

1.Matan (He’s had about 7 beers—low stakes); loves watching women on TV, but the second he sees someone with shaved legs, he just shuts down.
2.American(6 beers, tea spiked with rum)—this guy actually killed two people once.
3. Ljigav Stublić over at Allianz (4 beers, one shot of whiskey)
His classic line? "Don't wear your apron like that, you're showing your ass." To which I always tell him: "Look, it’s tied in the back—you're seeing it regardless, aren't you?"
4.Marijan(6 beers, drinking straight out of a crate): if you spit in his egg, you're dead meat.
5.The Boss aka Željko-Žac aka taliban (5 beers, weighs about 330 lbs, smokes three packs of Marlboro Coffee/Bavaria/whiskey)—ugh, honestly, words don't do him justice, you really have to experience the man to believe it.

Come on, admit it, you're all secretly jealous.

😬

Anyway, one of our waitresses is leaving right now, so if anyone's looking for work, hit me up.

Nicholas King62 said:Ugh, I honestly don't get it! How am I supposed to know which way to say something? Like, if I'm trying to figure out if it's "cross over," "pass through," or some other weird variation... how does anyone actually nail that down?

Look, just try saying it out loud and you'll realize immediately that you aren't stumbling over some gibberish version, you're saying the actual phrase, like "crossing over"... it's just the standard way people talk because that's what's normal. But honestly, you already knew that, so why are you even asking such a ridiculous question...😁 😁 😉

lonebison37 said:You try to say it, and you immediately realize that saying "cross through" just doesn't work—it’s like trying to drive a car with a flat tire; you intuitively know you have to adjust the phrasing to "cross over" instead. It’s almost like an automatic mental correction because the original way sounds so clunky and offensive to the ear. But honestly, you already knew that, so I'm really just asking a silly question here. 😁 😁 😉

It isn't really a matter of tradition or ingrained habit; rather, the fault lies entirely with the Mexicans. 😠

😁

Generally speaking, I believe in approaching things with a sense of measured restraint. 🙂

It’s a helpful bit of advice, really.

Speaking of being easy on the eyes, did you guys catch Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?😲Man, talk about a knockout...
But honestly, that guy drives me absolutely insane. Like, seriously...😳

I'll second that...
😠 🙂 🙂

My top 3 Orbit Drops flavors:
1. lemon mint
it’s been ages since I’ve had anything decent...
then again
2. orange mint
3. watermelon

As for the rest of them—they can honestly just stay hidden...

But honestly, the guy gets under my skin—like, intensely. Just... ugh.😳

Oh, absolutely. He's great.
Even if he is "somewhat" depressing.
By the way—believe it or not—the man actually deals with clinical depression in real life...

Some pretty mindless things I've done involving beer:

Sliding down some stairs into a bush and turning down help just so I could save the beers in my hands.

Wiping out on the ice right in front of a Starbucks, with an open bottle in every coat pocket.

Sneaking confiscated cans behind a bouncer's back while listening to some nerd talk about calculators at a fraternity hazing.

Swiping full five-liter kegs from a pub in Chicago and drinking them in a basement, just for the hell of it.

man, this is getting pretty postmodern...

I guess I agree with Jim—but only regarding that one movie. He’s just strangely sweet in it 😍
(not that he bothers me normally, or that I find him particularly attractive...)

so, to wrap this up, my top 5 Hollywood guys I'd actually invite to bed:
1. Joaquin Phoenix image
2. Tim Robbins, though strictly during his younger years (think 🙂 )
3. Johnny Depp
4. Edward Norton
5. John Cusack

I’m inclined to agree—though I’d also throw Ewan McGregor into the mix...
Specifically during those hazy, intoxicated moments reminiscent of Kevin Spacey or Al Pacino. 😉
And when things get truly, utterly out of hand? Well, Orlando Bloom would probably do just fine too. 😉 😉

Gosh, I totally blanked on him—I'm terrible, I guess. 😢
He’s definitely in my top three...
😁Kevin Spacey... maybe?
🙂Oh, and Tony Soprano, too. 😳

The guy drives me insane otherwise, though. Like, seriously.😳

Man, that movie blew me away... weirdly enough, I can't stand him or Kate Winslet, and Kirsten Dunst isn't really my thing either (Spider-Man's girl—who actually likes her?).

Top 3 sexiest comic book heroes:
1. Spider-Man
2. Phantom
3. Spawn
Ugh, just realized none of them show their faces... maybe that's why they're hot. Keeps things mysterious. 😳

Daredevil is easily the most attractive one. Probably because he’s the only one actually dealing with some real emotion. 😍
