Where my uncle is from (the Midwest), they make it sweet, and honestly, that’s the 🙏
way to go. But where my mother is from (the Mississippi Delta, home of the Begic clan), they make it savory, and that version is just... alright.

sweet

I once had a meat pie from a bakery on Saville Avenue that was so bad I spent hours retching in my own house. 🙂 Kill!

You have two options—both will give you a meat pie that feels like a death sentence, but the pizza from the place at the intersection of Saville and Broadway will turn your stomach into a carnival ride for two days straight (though a dry pretzel might actually help soak it up).

Ecce homo! 🙏 🙏 🙏

(I mean, I've really only heard that song by Skids, but honestly, it carries more weight than like four whole discographies from bands like The Stranglers).

If you've only ever heard one song by Skids!!! ???? Don't even talk to me. They're legends, maybe my absolute favorites from that era, if I'm being real....

That's a great shot.
And I can just hear Metallica playing in the background (in my head)

Dammit, just "Into The Valley." I’m actually going to track them down at Slsk later today... if luck isn't on my side, I might just find out exactly where you live... 🙂

Pfft, I’m not exactly shaking in my boots. He’s turned into some soft indie-emo-alt-country sweetheart.
All that noise rock and death metal stuff? That’s ancient history. Still, I probably shouldn't let him see this; he’s got a wicked tongue and can type thirty times faster than I can.

Thank God I finally agree with you on something—oval is definitely the way to go.
Besides that—I don't know—maybe it's just me, but Oreo cookies are basically a religion. 🙂

Douglas Taylor4, how could you possibly find Reign in Blood boring? 😲
It could be anything, really—just kind of dull... I guess it passes by in a blink. 😁

My top 5 Slayer albums—if I had to pick—would probably be: 1. reign in blood 2. divin Intervention 3. seasons in The abyss 4. diabolus in Musica 5. south of Heaven slejer. Just my personal take, I guess.

Slayer album 1. reign in blood 2. divin Intervention 3. seasons in The abyss 4. diabolus in Musica 5. south of Heaven slejer — maybe?
3. seasons in The abyss
Maybe 4. diabolus in Musica... I guess.

Slayer is easily the best band ever—I guess. 🙂 🙂 🙂 :angelofdeath:

Anything else, sure, but boring? It’s over before you even realize it starts. 😁

Alright, I'll concede—it's boring, damn it. We're talking about roughly 32 minutes here. By "boring," I mean it just lacks that necessary punch to keep me hooked. I'll be vibing with it, and then suddenly someone starts screaming like an Oscar winner in some gritty noir film, or another track goes overboard with high-pitched solos, and my enthusiasm just flatlines. I don't get it.

And where does "god hates US All" fit in? At least it has the best title.

Guys, seriously... guys. 🙂
So, you think you know Slayer? I guess. 🙂

So, where's "god hates US All"—which, honestly, might be the best title out there?

It's all just commercialism, I guess—just chasing the money. 😬
Honestly, that album is just total garbage.

You two are such a twisted couple!
It’s almost like you were bonded together by nothing but a shared obsession with Slayer.

gentlepuma20, try showing a little more emotion once in a while, just like Nicholas Perez33 does.
He tends to get carried away with Magnetic fields and 100,000 sparks every now and then.

Man, what kind of poser is this 😬

I mean, I listen to Sunny Day Real Estate myself sometimes—but I don't exactly shout it from the rooftops 😁

1. Baker Dafina - over in Ozalj
2. Dora - located in Columbus
3. that spot on Potomac because they’re open 24/7

1. Dinara on Britanica—their potato pies are incredible, provided you catch them while they're still warm. Plus, they have little tables where you can snag free samples. 🙂
2. That place near the start of Preradović—the croissants there are amazing, huge and super buttery.
3. Near the beginning of Radićeva—they have such a great variety of rolls; personally, those cheese buns are my favorite.

Susan Clark10 said:3. At first, she worked there—mostly because of those damn pastries. For me, the cheese ones were always the best.

Those pastries 😍

There was also this girl working there who—every single time I asked for the cheese puff pastry—would give me the biggest ones possible. 🙏 🙏
