To me, he feels like someone from way out in the sticks.

That’s your call.
Personally, I have mixed feelings about Devendra Banhart.
The whole vibe feels a bit too gothic for my taste—all horror themes and visceral imagery.
Plus, generationally speaking, he doesn't really fit in with this lineup; he feels like a direct throwback to something you'd find at a newsstand in 1983 reading The Vjesnik.
On top of that, he just exists in the shadow of Marty Mystery, acting like some second cousin who carved out his own macabre little niche.
When Marty, Java, and Marty's blonde interest are all on stage chasing after Orli (?), there’s just no room left for Devendra Banhart and that circus act of his with the tweezers.

*Too bad I didn't figure out his genius until I was already old enough...

I feel the exact same way—assuming we're talking about a sixteen-year obsession with comics. Ken Parker is in a league of his own.

It’s that specific turning point in your life where you realize that Ken Parker, Corto Maltese, and stuff like that represent the absolute peak. There’s nowhere left to go from there...

My top two most domestic tasks:
(Note: cooking is its own separate beast entirely)
1. Doing the dishes
2. Vacuuming

Good grief, I completely forgot about dusting...

I actually enjoy vacuuming too. And cleaning up messes 😁

Cooking can go either way, but since it’s creative, I don't count it as a chore 😁

The Replacements - Let It Be
nomeansno - 0+2=1
jamc - automatic
bob dylan - john wesley harding

Screw any list that doesn't include the Ramones, right? Yeah... exactly.

I have some 😁, but they aren't exactly Ramones—not ideal for long drives. For a bike ride, though, they're fine.

Picture this: you’re cruising down Hollywood Boulevard in L.A., soaking up the sun. You've got that group of kids with you—young, wired, covered in tattoos, with bleached hair whipping in the wind like the palm trees lining the street.

Honestly, this year's HUD is just incredible for cruising down the American interstate highways—it’s definitely been a game changer for my driving experience 🙂

Alphabetical top 5 albums I haven't touched since the day I actually bought them:

1. Apollo 44 - Electro Glide in Blue
2. The Stooges - Fun House 😱
3. Eros Ramazzotti - Stile Libero (a gift from my old high school language teacher 😁 )
4. Rammstein - Sehnsucht (my mom bought this one for me 😍 )
5. Spiller - Groovejet (Maxi Single) 😬

Honestly, what a terrible, terrible list 😵

Man, this list is all wrong. First off, leaving out No Quarter—which shows you just don't get that mystical, Goblin-inspired synth vibe. Second, putting such a cliché hippie track at number one? Not cool. Third, Since I've Been Loving You is definitely better than Dazed and Confused. And fourth, there are way too many easy listens here. Let's try again!
