Picture this: a deserted island, one Cow weighing in at about 1,300 pounds, one guy around 175 pounds, a knife, and a rock. For $250, I’ll sit back and watch how he handles it.😁

I'll take $500 if I don't have to play hero and step in to save him.😁
How about $750 if I get to watch the Cow actually take him down?😁
But if you want me to film the whole thing for the footage? Now we're talking $1,200.

Good grief, when you force me to get specific... You throw a cloth over the Cow's head, wait for it to settle, then strike it right between the eyes with a hammer. Once the Cow is out cold, you can practically start butchering it.

I honestly don't understand how you people have never seen a Bullfight...

I have a feeling a Frenchman wouldn't be seeing eye-to-eye with you on this one... you're talking about little garden slugs while they're out there celebrating fine dining... and we all know how much they pride themselves on their cuisine.

I definitely know snails are delicious—oh yeah, I actually cooked them once! 😉
You have to simmer them for ages, though, because they get just as tough as an old Cow. 😁 😁

It honestly feels like the same thing in some ways. I mean, why bother chasing an old Cow around a pasture when you can just pick up a snail?

Sure, but there's something about chasing down a Cow that just hits different. It's primal, manly, pure adrenaline... blood, sweat, and all that. 🙂

🤣 🤣

Classic guy logic right there! If you actually managed to catch one, you'd have enough food to feed the whole neighborhood for a month...

YES, I WOULD. I know someone would whip up a killer dinner using it... mmm, meat tastes amazing.🙂

Look, I'm a regular person who doesn't just jump on every bandwagon. To me, all this obsession with vegetarianism lately feels like it's just Intel trying too hard to be trendy...

I think I’d go after the fish first. Honestly, there’s no way I could finish an entire Cow by myself, and the smell would just be too much. Gross. I’d probably just drag it home and toss it straight into the freezer—assuming it isn't way too old, though. Beef can be pretty nasty if it's past its prime. If it was some ancient Cow just waiting to break loose and eat the calves, I'd pass.😛

I’d sooner go out fishing than slaughter a Cow. Meat just isn't my thing.
But really, how on earth were you planning to kill a Cow with nothing but a knife? 🤔

Trying to catch a fish with just a knife and some toothpicks isn't going to work. 😛
Killing a Cow with a knife is just as unrealistic.
The only thing you can actually grab without any gear at all is fruit.

So, here's the thing: your hypothetical scenario isn't really a choice, because two out of the three options are physically impossible.

Try looking at it this way: imagine you have a hand grenade (fishing), a rifle (the Cow), and an apple picker. No matter what you pick, you won't have trouble finding food. What do you choose? You’ll probably start with the fruit, move on to fishing, and once you get sick of fruit and fish, you'll go for the steak.

At the end of the day, by the time someone brings a steak to your plate, the Cow is long gone—and neither the cow nor the potatoes that keep it company would even exist if someone wasn't farming them for food.

And why on earth is this being discussed in the health section? 🤔

Well, because we’re basically looking for the psychological profile of a serial killer who’d slaughter a Cow just for one tiny steak;

someone with teeth that have been pre-screened by a dentist—totally cavity-free
and zero fillings,

armed with perfectly healthy fingernails

and fueled by all that deep-seated childhood rage from when Mom wouldn't let him ride her bike, Dad wouldn't forgive his Freudian anal stage phase,

and his sister used to tease him about being... well, you know, small down there...

so yeah, that's why it belongs in Health.😎

Even his mom was nursing him unevenly, using one breast way more than the other, so he's been dealing with the fallout from that ever since...😢

There’s always going to be someone trying to rain on your parade, no matter what. And talking about "old-fashioned" ways? Like some outdated Beef Bourguignon recipe from a dusty cookbook...
