Raymond Nelson47 said:Solid math 😉, I put in my own 20 bucks alongside those extra 5 bucks, and now I'm sitting at 103 dollars 😁 after hitting three times... caught the NBA last night, one parlay this afternoon, and a third one tonight 😁

So look, buddy, you’ve clearly decided to go on a crusade for that extra 5% profit on every winning ticket... you're gonna be swiping that Visa card at the grocery store until they flag you for suspicious activity because of all those transactions 😍

Anthony Rogers5 said:On top of all that, my wife was actually at JPMorgan Chase and she totally called me out when she asked why I was sending the money... I didn't know what to say, so I just blurted out "online gambling," and she basically shut me down because apparently that's illegal. xD 🤷

I went through the exact same debate once... eventually, I just told them it was for "online shopping." Then they asked what for, and I was like, "Honestly, I haven't decided yet." They actually had to call someone to get the transfer approved!!!! But hey, it went through.

Next time, I’m just putting down: "to promote world peace."

Online betting is technically banned here in the States because it's not happening within a physical casino. 😵

So, I scored this little $5 gift voucher and decided to jump in and play for a few days... my first bet was just $5, then I bumped it up to anywhere between $10 and $50... I only placed about 5 or 6 bets total, but somehow I managed to climb up to $100 on my balance and now I’m dying to actually cash out... I set up a PayPal account thinking I could just move my winnings from DraftKings over to my PayPal, but whenever I try to hit the withdrawal button via PayPal, it hits me with this: WITHDRAWAL

Withdrawals via PayPal aren't possible!

Note:
To keep things secure—for your own protection—withdrawals via PayPal from your sportsbook account can only be sent to the exact same PayPal account you used to make your initial deposit!

Thanks for understanding!

What's the deal? Why won't they let me transfer to my PayPal? (The thing is, I haven't actually deposited any of my own cash into DraftKings yet, I've just been playing with that bonus)

Can anyone help me figure out how to get this money into my account?😕

Look, I know how things work over at DraftKings, but honestly, it’s pretty much the same across the board... if you want to withdraw funds using a specific method, you first have to make a deposit through that exact same channel.

In your situation, here is what you do: just deposit the minimum amount from your PayPal account into the sportsbook first. That way, they have a record of your account on file. Once that's done, you can request a withdrawal back to your PayPal and everything should go through without a hitch...

I've done it myself using both a Visa debit card and PayPal, and both ways worked perfectly fine for me.😛

Hey, can you walk me through how I actually deposit money into PayPal? Like, what info am I supposed to put on the transfer slip and all that stuff?

I’ll be honest, I’ve never actually used my own cash to fund a PayPal account, so I can’t tell you exactly how the plumbing works. But if you head over to the Finance section, there’s an entire thread dedicated to PayPal. You should probably just ask around there if nobody here gives you a straight answer... or just dig through the old posts in that thread. There might already be an answer waiting for you.

So, here’s the headache I’m dealing with. I topped up my account at DraftKings using my Visa Classic card—about $140—then ended up winning $300. When I tried to withdraw those winnings back to the exact same card I used for the deposit (which, by the way, doesn't even accept incoming transfers), the system "successfully" processed the payout. Except, there’s a catch: the funds aren't in my DraftKings balance, and they certainly haven't hit my bank account yet.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve already sent ten emails to their support team, and they just won't get back to me.😕

Hey guys, I’ve got a quick question about my cash situation! So, I’m currently using a Chase account and I’ve been making deposits for a while now, plus I already successfully pulled out a smaller amount once before without any issues. But here’s the deal—about three days ago, I requested a withdrawal of $333 and I actually got an email confirming everything was set to hit my account within two to three business days. Well, it’s been three days and the money still hasn't shown up in my balance! So, I'm wondering how much longer am I actually supposed to be sitting around waiting for this to land, or what’s the longest you guys have ever had to wait for a payout to clear? Also, just a random thought—is there any chance my bank might freeze these kinds of transfers because they think it's "illegal" or whatever you guys call it? Honestly, I'm starting to get a little nervous about whether this money is even going to show up at all!

Give it 5 to 7 days, then you can start getting worried... 🙂

At worst, the bank might just flag it and ask where the hell the money is coming from—you know, asking for explanations like "online shopping" or "travel booking" or whatever. Most of the time, that stuff flies under the radar...

Maybe this isn't quite the right thread for this, but since we're already circling the topic...

What’s everyone's experience been like with direct card withdrawals? I'm curious about what kind of amounts have cleared without a hitch versus what kind of sums trigger red flags or headaches. Any specific thresholds you've run into?😕

Good grief, I’m dealing with the exact same nonsense here. I made a deposit into my DraftKings account this morning around 11:15 AM—just ten bucks—and even though the balance clearly shows those ten dollars are there, the second I try to actually place a bet, it tells me I have insufficient funds. I completely lost it... now I'm just trying to get my money back, only to find out they don't even support Visa for withdrawals. Unbelievable. I might as well just stick to staying with DraftKings...

So, I was wondering—does anyone know if there’s a sportsbook out there that actually hands out a bonus right when you sign up?
I don't really care if it's one of those shady sites that makes it impossible to actually withdraw your winnings; I just want something that gives you a little bit of credit to play with immediately upon registration—just enough to get some bets on the board.
Thanks!

I'm staying with DraftKings for sure... A while back, I was looking to bet on a German second division hockey game, but it wasn't even listed on DraftKings because they don't carry their second league. The game ended up being a total layup—a 3:3 tie that went to overtime and hit perfectly. I would've been eating good if I could've placed that bet. Thanks for nothing, DraftKings.😛

I honestly can't believe it. Usually, I’m the one screwing myself over when it comes to money, but now I’ve managed to blow ten bucks without even placing a single bet. Seriously... I guess I'll check tomorrow if they actually pulled those ten dollars from my account, haha... though hopefully they didn't 🤣

I think DraftKings gives you a 100% match on your first deposit, up to maybe $50 or something...

But hey, you obviously have to shell out like $10 first just to get another $10 back... lol...

If you're using something like Skrill, you probably won't see any bonus at all.
Pinnacle offers 10%, though I'm not really sure what their cap is.

I’m honestly not a fan of this—it’s frustrating when you can't even get your money in there.

It’s not like I’m trying to make a killing or anything—I just want to place some recreational bets online since the local DraftKings is way too far from where I live.

Does anyone happen to have an account on a betting site (that you don't really need) with a little bit of extra cash sitting there that you could lend me?
The thing is, I don't have a credit card... I'd honestly love to just deposit the money myself, but I simply don't have one available right now.
