Bradley Cox5 said:Regarding online deposits and withdrawals—I’ve been using http://www.payingsafer.com for quite some time now, and I can genuinely recommend them!

As for the sportsbooks—I feel compelled to emphasize this: ABSOLUTELY NO BETMGM!!!
You’ll need about as much luck trying to get your money out of them as you do winning your actual bets. They will find the slightest discrepancy in your ID or your profile data just to justify closing your account. Just browse the forums for a moment and you'll see there have been endless issues with them. Furthermore, if you happen to be lucky enough to actually receive a payout, it takes an absolute eternity!

I am inclined to agree. They are nothing short of thieves—I had a rather unsettling incident myself. Barely three minutes after my bet hit and the funds landed in my account, I immediately withdrew them to my card (using $67). To my utter bewilderment, perhaps two minutes after initiating that withdrawal, my balance sat at $67 (??). I checked my transaction history only to find they had reversed my winnings—reason unspecified. The cash had already cleared into my checking account, and I had already withdrawn it. A week later, the balance sitting in my account is still $73.
Click—close account. ☕

Since then, I’ve stuck with DraftKings and haven't had any grievances. The interface is straightforward, payouts are swift, there are no commissions, the minimum withdrawal is $10, and the selection is broader ☕
My only regret is that I didn't grab the maximum bonus 😠

Got some gripes with BetMGM... first off, their minimum withdrawal is $100, which is kind of a pain—you basically have to sit on more than $100 just to get a measly $50 back out. Plus, they don't even offer over/under lines for handball games...

I’m looking to move some winnings from my FanDuel account over to my personal bank account... it’s actually my first time doing this, so I’m a bit hesitant—I want to know what kind of amount I can withdraw without raising any red flags with the bank. I see people all over the internet claiming that online gambling is illegal, which makes me a little nervous, honestly... Has anyone here actually gone through the withdrawal process before? Like, how much is safe to pull out at once?

I think there's a limit around $10,000 a year
and anything over $1,500 a month gets flagged for review or something like that

So, BetMGM just posted odds on what looks like a total setup in Major League Soccer. I’m wondering how long they'll actually leave it up before they realize what happened... If you have an active account over at BetMGM, maybe hit me up 🙂

Forgive my stupidity here... but someone has to ask. I’m looking into opening a Moneybookers account. I have my main debit card that my paycheck hits—is that considered a foreign currency account, or am I going to need to open an entirely new one? Also, should I expect any physical mail to show up at my house regarding this foreign currency account or online betting? You know how old-timers get about this kind of stuff...😁

Look, you just walk into a bank and ask to open a foreign currency account. If you want to put cash in right away, bring some; if not, don't bother. They handle everything "on the fly," and you get a temporary card. About a week later, they give you a call saying your actual card is ready, so you head back in to swap the temporary one for the real deal. While you're at it, bring some cash to deposit so you can transfer it to your betting site once you get home. Just tell the teller you want to make a deposit—basically, you're "buying foreign currency"—and it’s done in a flash. Then you bolt home to your computer, hit the sportsbook site, log in, go to the deposit section, and put in whatever amount you want to play with. That's the whole process.

There aren't any extra piles of paperwork or physical statements flying around. You spend what's in the account, and that's it. Once you hit zero, you're tapped out until you top it up again. You can't go into the red. It keeps parents from worrying, too—you can only blow through exactly what they gave you. ☕

There isn't any extra paperwork or physical statements coming in the mail. You spend what's in the account, and that's it. Once you run dry, you can only play again after you make another deposit. No overdrafts allowed. Parents don't have anything to worry about; you can only spend exactly what they gave you. ☕

That’s exactly what I was waiting to hear. Thanks, man.

I know this question probably pops up here all the time—I tried digging through the search function myself, but no luck...

Could anyone share their experience regarding withdrawals from BetMGM?

The site says I can use Moneybookers, which isn't really my thing, or a Visa card. If I go with Visa, do I need to have used that same card for my initial deposit first? It also lists bank wire transfers...

Regarding those wire transfers, how does that actually work? Which bank are they sending the funds to?

As for my ID, I’ve already gone through the verification process with them once before. There was a minor hiccup with identity confirmation, but I sent everything over and it was all cleared up...

Can anyone share their experience with getting payouts from BetMGM??

It shows I can use Skrill, but I’m not really feeling that. I could do Visa, though (do I need to use the exact same card I used to deposit?), or maybe a bank wire....

Also, what’s the deal with bank wires? Which bank are they actually sending it to??

As for my ID, I already sent stuff over earlier because there was a bit of a hiccup with identity verification, but everything should be all set now...

If you're looking to move your action to a different sportsbook, honestly, Skrill is probably your best bet since most places don't hit you with extra fees for deposits or withdrawals through them. If you need actual cold hard cash in your hand, just use Venmo or go the bank wire route (though that's a bit more of a headache). One major bummer about BetMGM is that payouts take about 5 days, which is a total drag. Also, just a heads-up: if you deposited via Venmo, the payout has to go back to Venmo. If you used Skrill, it goes there. If you used both, then you get to pick your poison.

Just a heads-up: getting your funds can take about five days, which is a massive downside in my book. Also, keep in mind that if you deposited via Venmo, you have to withdraw that way; if you used Moneybookers, it goes back there. If you used both, you've got a little more flexibility on where the money lands.

I ended up using a standard bank transfer...

Then you can just stick to bank transfers. All you gotta do is set up an account at https://www.moneybookers.com/app/?rid=14369150 first. Toss about 10 bucks over to Bwin, then hit them up for a withdrawal straight to your MB account. Once you've cleared the higher-tier verification through MB, you’re golden—you can pull your cash directly to your local bank account for a small $1.80 fee.

If I make a deposit via bank transfer, which banks am I able to withdraw my winnings to?
What kind of account do I actually need to open? Is that all there is to it?

Look, if you were running a local currency account back on Bwin, your best bet is just to go ahead and open a matching local currency account at your bank. But, if you’ve been using a foreign exchange account, honestly? You're way better off just grabbing a debit card that works in USD. It'll save you a massive headache.

My take is that you really ought to use the same card for both deposits and withdrawals, and if you stick to that, you shouldn't run into any issues...

BetMGM is hands down the best online sportsbook out there... the site is easy to navigate, the odds are pretty much on point, and getting paid is smooth sailing without any headaches...

I honestly can't get behind Bwin; I think BetMGM is much better. Here is the link if you want to check it out for yourself.
