Banderas, you're tripping—you used the wrong smiley! It's not :2up:, it's actually 🙂

Kid, go moderate your own groupies😬
Another one bragging about getting a B+ on a standardized test.

If my bank account allows it, I’m definitely hitting up both Lenny Kravitz and Metallica...

Maybe we could actually organize a little meetup for the forum crowd? It would be nice to actually see one another, rather than just being a million strangers passing by in the crowd without a single familiar face in sight...

I’m definitely going to see Lenny Kravitz. As for Metallica, I guess it just depends on my bank account, since I'm planning on catching Santana in July too, and I really don't want to go totally broke.

How does that guy Banderas put it? :2up: (Why? WHY?)

Yet again, someone is bragging about getting a 4 on their homework assignment.

Don't make me bring my army of geeks into this thread. They'll be wearing Metallica t-shirts.😈

As they say in the movies: :2up: (Why? JUST WHY?)

Well, I am absolutely going to see Santana—that's a non-negotiable. It's just that having both Lenny and Metallica scheduled in the exact same month is quite the predicament...

Why, oh why... 😢

By the way, if I had to choose between buying tickets and didn't have enough cash for both, I'd pick Lenny Kravitz over Metallica any day of the week.

And for what reason might one feel that way?

The reason I say Lenny is three levels above Metallica. I’m sitting here listening to his Best of right now—15 massive hits in a row—and you can't honestly argue that any single one of them sacrifices quality just to chase a radio hit.

Honestly, I’ll just hand you the Best of collection to listen to—and for heaven's sake, memorize every single track—before the show starts. That way, when he inevitably begins playing all those new songs, you might actually be able to stomach whatever it is he’s "doing" these days.

As for what is actually going on with this guy and his latest "artistic direction" (have you seen the new music video?)... I'm still completely lost myself...

I hope you meant that as a compliment to Lenny, boldeagle3...

I mean, let's not knock Metallica too hard. They're such a massive giant in their own lane compared to Lenny. The only real difference is their niche is a bit narrower, and I guess they aren't necessarily more mainstream than him either.

Look, let's not go too hard on Metallica—they are absolute giants in their own right, arguably even bigger than Lenny in terms of sheer scale. The only real difference is that their niche is a bit more specific, and I doubt they're actually any less "radio-friendly" to the masses than he is.

To me, this sounds more like a nod to Lenny's legendary career over the years.
As for this recent stuff? It just doesn't click for me... I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it.
The same goes for Metallica, if you ask me.
Regardless, I'd still love to catch both Lenny and Metallica live, no matter what...

I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around this new stuff. It just isn't clicking for me yet. Why is it so difficult to process?
The same goes for me when it comes to Metallica.
Whatever the cost, I’d love to see both Lenny Kravitz and Metallica perform. Wouldn't that be something?

If I had to choose, I’d go to see Metallica over Lenny Kravitz. Why wouldn't I? They are absolute legends. Lenny still has plenty of great music left to give, doesn't he?

Wait, why on earth did you list BRMC as the opening act for Lenny Kravitz?
Why?
Seriously, why?
For what reason?
Is there any way to buy a ticket just for the opener so I can actually show up before Lenny hits the stage? 😉

I’d honestly love to catch Metallica in concert, but since they’ve become such greedy bastards lately, I have zero interest in supporting anything original from them. I'm definitely skipping the show...
Let those greedy thugs just go on their way! ✌️

I’m putting them all on my credit card $100. And then some! For God's sake, we aren't Kuwait—we shouldn't be dropping this kind of cash on tickets! But hey, what can you do when you're feeling a little greedy?

Quick question for anyone who’s actually survived those massive stadium shows... how early do I seriously need to show up if I want a decent spot? Like, is it even worth the damn money to buy a ticket when you can hear the whole thing from the parking lot anyway? And does anyone actually know how huge MetLife Stadium is? Thanks!
