Greetings from Vienna. So far, the lineup has featured Amorphis, Static-X, Lostprophets, and Motörhead. Slipknot is playing right now, and we’re still waiting on Korn and Metallica 😁

There's a decent crowd here, about 70,000 people 😁

Yesterday was Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pixies, but we didn't make it in time 😢

Anyone got any intel on the opening acts?😕

Over two hours of pure, high-octane energy. If this is how Lars usually handles a set, it’s no wonder he ended up in the hospital. The stage production and lighting were absolutely insane.

Oh, and I have to say, I loved how they handled the bar situation at Maiden! Every time I went to grab a drink, there was absolutely no line. 😁

Does anyone happen to know who's playing from the 24th to the 26th? What's that lineup look like? 🙄

Not happening here in the States. We'll be lucky if we even see half that number. And honestly, even then, dealing with a crowd that massive is a total nightmare...

I’m telling you, I caught Slipknot this past Saturday, and it was a total disaster. They sounded like a slightly polished demo band, and don't even get me started on those masks... 🤮

Honestly, everyone, why the intense worry? I think I mentioned before that they only ever play TWO songs from St. Anger at their shows (Frantic and St. Anger). And, while the St. Anger material sounds... well, let's say "challenging" on the actual album—due to that awful production, those tinny drums, and the lack of solos—they actually composed solos specifically for the live performances. So, once again, everything is fine; the production isn't an issue, the drums sound great, and now the songs actually have guitar solos! If anyone is curious about what they played, here is the setlist from a concert in Denmark - 26/05/04:

I’ve already mentioned my thoughts on Metallica—they put on an incredible show, having had the chance to catch them live last year. Honestly, people have absolutely no reason to worry. I’m fairly certain Hammett will be handling the drums while Lars picks up the guitar for the intro to Nothing matters; and if they play for Whom The Bell Tolls st., I suspect Lars and Rob will take over the intro themselves. Not to mention the fireworks, which I won't even get started on.
