Look, I don't know much about rap vs. hip-hop—honestly, I don't really see the difference between the two (can someone explain that to me? 😁)—but I actually dig what Cypress Hill, Missy Elliott, and Outkast are doing.

Everything else just feels off to me. All that shallow hip-hop R&B garbage they play on MTV (like Eminem, P. Diddy, and Jay-Z) drives me absolutely insane... Especially when you see them drop a solo track, then a feature with someone else, then suddenly three of them are recording together for some "new" hit... then four people... It’s all just freaking boring and so damn repetitive and predictable...

Give me a break... Edoooooooooooo Majkaaaaaa (is that even how you spell it?) can't be mentioned in the same breath as any real American rapper because he's just some ugly white guy. Nobody in the world even knows who he is, so there's no way he belongs on any list.

As for me, DMX and Nelly are the real deal. Nelly is probably as dumb as they come, but at least he knows how to have a good time. 😁
