Everything looks fine right now—the city warehouses are still stocked—but things aren't going to end well. There's going to be shelling every single night, and half the city is going to be total rubble.

But as it stands, the current reality is just a bunch of nonsense where people exploit someone else's tragedy for virtue signaling, all while Russian gas continues to flow straight into Germany. 200+ tanks, 850+ transports, a hundred or so artillery systems, etc.

To me, those look like pretty heavy losses—especially if we're still calling this a "walk in the park" kind of war. What happens if things actually go all in? We might end up seeing an Easter American victim situation like in Vietnam. 😲

Even if you cut those numbers in half, they are still massive losers for just one week of fighting.

I honestly believe Putin will eventually seize a significant portion of eastern Ukraine. In my view, his goal is to secure the Donbas region, link it to Crimea, and reach the coast near that breakaway Moldovan region they support. He'll likely keep Kyiv and Kharkiv under siege before forcing serious negotiations with Kyiv, where the current government will face a brutal choice: recognize the loss of massive territory in the east and southeast while making further concessions, or brace for immense civilian suffering in Ukraine's largest cities.
