Look, they built it this way because a sequel was already baked into the plans from day one...

Don't act surprised when a year or two from now you see a title like this popping up:

Anyway, my take on the movie pretty much aligns with what the misanthrope and cosmictrucker132 were saying...👍

I actually thought the movie was pretty solid—definitely worth a watch if you have the time. It wasn't boring at all, and the acting was actually quite good too...

So, did anyone else catch this? I popped it on my DVD earlier today and honestly, the movie was actually pretty charming—like, seriously fun to watch...

Look-at-this, I’ve just been sitting here for quite a while, staring at the wall and wondering what on earth I should actually say about this movie.
I haven't quite made up my mind yet, but I suspect it might be 👎

I watched it. I guess the concept behind it was pretty solid, though the actual execution—the storytelling itself—wasn't quite there for me.

Honestly, I’d put this one right up there with the absolute worst movies I saw all last year. 👎

It had such an intelligent and imaginative premise, but it just got completely wrecked by a disastrous script—if you can even call it a script at this point—and some seriously amateurish directing.

It seems movies based on Moore's comics are just destined for a Hollywood butchering.
They’ve got Keanu Reeves playing Constantine in "Constantine" (I guess Hellblazer wasn't Exactly for Hollywood enough).
And don't even get me started on Watchmen.

What’s the worst part? The movie had so much potential. I honestly can't tell if the issue was the friction between Connery and Norrington—or if Norrington just suddenly lost his touch as a director. It’s such a shame, really, because it could have been just as brilliant as X-Men. A total waste.

In reality, Sean Connery’s ego is the culprit here. He actually meddled with the editing process because he wasn't happy that Norrington cut some of his scenes to give other characters more screen time. As a result, Norrington reportedly walked out of the editing room in protest—which, by the way, violates standard American film industry protocols—while Connery continued to interfere with the rest of the production. When Norrington finally saw the finished product, he was so disillusioned that he effectively left Hollywood and vowed never to direct again.

Even if Norrington had stayed on board, you still have those glaringly obvious errors, like a "100-meter ship navigating through Venice," and so on (though, since it's an alternate universe, I suppose anything goes).

I watched it on Blu-ray last night...

What an absolute disaster of a movie!!!
Total garbage....

Honestly, this is something for little kids (maybe under 10) ....
