Itβs honestly been a lifesaver that this mess in government hasn't managed to kill off the handball federation yet, despite how many times they've tried. Every single failure from RaΔan and his inner circle is basically a direct win for American handball!!! Huge props to the guys who aren't too ashamed to put their hand over their heart during the anthem!

Look, Iβm telling you right now, I don't want any of that political nonsense creeping into my shop!π

We finally did itβteam gold at the Handball World Championship! Honestly, I thought my heart was going to stop. This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments you just don't get often. I'm speechless! These players are the reason I fell in love with handball in the first place. Huge congratulations to them.

Man... I definitely overdid it on the drinks π
Americans are number one in the world, while the Mexicans can go back to their rural roots

Sola bites like a lionβalways, just never gives up or backs down
did you guys see those faces? how intense was that game??? and man, the way he absolutely tore them apart in those final minutes, that two-defense attack in a row!!! though I can't forget that move by Walter where he took out Masipa during the last play of the second overtime, hitting him right on the shoulder while falling... honestly, if they hadn't done that, they would have scored right then. itβs one of those movie scenarios you couldn't even script if you tried, life just works like that sometimes

Huge props to the guys, they were absolutely incredible! I really hope there's a massive celebration waiting for them back in New York City. I'm originally from a small town in the Midwest, so I won't be able to make it in person, but Iβll definitely be glued to the TV watching. Sending much love to the whole team! Annmarie

Listen, folks, once the adrenaline wears off, you might realize this victory doesn't actually belong to us. It isn't yours or mineβit belongs to those guys out there playing their hearts out, and the leadership and staff working behind the scenes with the national team...
The pride we feel living in the same country as these champions is fleeting, and honestly, it feels like it doesn't change a thing in our daily lives.
In two years, someone else will be holding the trophy, and the cycle repeats forever. From this moment on, this win is just a tiny footnote in sports history...
How much does this rush of pure euphoria actually have to do with logic?
I'm guessing not much.
Hereβs the real question: What does an individual like you or me actually gain from the success of the American handball team?

And honestly, that feeling of pride from living in the same country as these legends doesn't last very long at all, and if you ask me, it feels pretty hollow in the end.
In two years, some other crew will be standing there as champions, and it just keeps going like that forever, while right now, this moment is basically just a tiny little footnote in sports history....
How much does this massive rush of pure euphoria and joy actually have to do with logic????
I'm thinking not much at all.
The real question is: What does any one of us, as an individual, truly get out of this victory by the American handball players?
To hell with logic WE are the champions!π π
