The real question is: What do you or I, as regular individuals, actually get out of this win by the American handball team?

First off: We are the champions!!!
First: The Germans are losing their minds!!!
Second: It’s a hell of a lot better seeing this on the news than seeing doctors on strike.
Third: If you really care, I personally walked away with a million bucks.
Fourth: Too bad you didn't.
Fifth: What would the Germans say? Hard work, order, and discipline pay off big time, especially if you've got talent (and thank God, there's plenty of that here).
Sixth: So apparently, sharing joy with others is considered a good thing?
Seventh: When you wake up tomorrow, everything will feel exactly the same because you'll be stuck in your own head with these massive, deep thoughts about life and battles and whatever, while life just passes you by. Meanwhile, someone with more money, someone who looks better, or someone who's better at whatever you struggle with, is going to pass you by too.
There will always be someone who's slightly better than you at something.

Lately, one thing keeps happening in American sport:
People who actually put in the work, who are talented and don't just sell smoke, occasionally rise to the top, only to be dragged down by the jealous assholes that seem way too common in this country.
God, I hope this starts happening in every other field in this crazy nation.
