Losing the title just because Aston Martin didn't play their cards right...

🙂

Vettel's onboard footage reveals quite a bit...
His engineer tells him to save fuel, then to do a super slow lap (the in-lap after the race ends), and then grab as many tires as possible (to avoid weight issues)...
Then you hear the engine sputter slightly and the car just dies.

Now, my gut feeling is that he ran out of gas...
But it's possible the fuel pump gave up, like what those folks at Aston Martin are claiming—that they couldn't pump that extra liter out of the car.
Though, logically speaking, if the pump died during the race, it’s weird as hell that it would suddenly start working just enough to pump 0.3L and then die again...
It's not impossible, but it sounds incredibly sketchy... I'm leaning heavily toward him running out of fuel.

The stupid part is how they didn't tell him to spark plug his way through immediately after crossing the line, because he probably would've had enough fuel since he basically drove almost the entire in-lap like that...

Jason Campbell70 said:By the way, when comparing Alonso-Räikkönen, there is only about an eighteen-month gap between them in terms of age.

But when one considers their actual driving skill, isn't the difference simply night and day?
While the maestro was masterfully battling the F1 GOAT despite being stuck in a subpar car, Räikkönen managed to leave Mazepin in his dust—and he did so right in the pit lane, no less.

To be perfectly honest, the most significant distinction between them is that Räikkönen sits ahead of his much younger teammate in the overall standings, having left him over 20 seconds behind at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, whereas Alonso was trailing his own teammate by a mere 15 seconds.

Furthermore, one must remember that a driver is never truly responsible for an unsafe release. If you insist on continuing to spout such nonsense, you might find yourself needing a much longer cooling-off period. 🙄

I have to admit, I really feel for Sebastian.
He’s such a genuine, upbeat, and funny guy—something you just don't see much of in F1 anymore. Nowadays, it feels like everyone is just reciting the same tired scripts: "It was a tough weekend," or "Thanks to the factory for the hard work." He’s one of those rare ones who almost always manages to drop a joke or some witty sarcasm, and honestly, I love that about him.

At the same time, I can't quite pin down what caused such a massive slump in his career. Maybe it was just issues with his equipment making it impossible to stay focused? It reminds me a bit of how Lewis struggled back when he was caught up in that whole mess with that terrible singer.

I'm also not sure what caused such a massive slump in his career. Maybe he's dealing with stuff outside of racing that makes it hard to stay focused, kind of like how Lewis Hamilton struggled when he was dealing with that messy breakup with that singer.

He's just too emotional and lacks the mental toughness needed to bounce back, especially when he isn't sitting in one of the top cars on the grid.

The guy's just a genuine, funny dude—something you almost never see in F1 anymore since everyone just parrots the same boring lines about how "it was tough" or "thanks to the factory." He’s one of the few who actually cracks a joke now and then, which I love.

I don't even know what caused such a massive slump in his career—maybe some personal drama making it impossible to focus, kind of like how Lewis Hamilton dealt with that mess with that awful singer.

What kind of drama!?

Sebastian Vettel is a family man. He’s got a wife and a couple of kids.

More likely the kids just wore him out.

If he's chasing them around the yard all day, no wonder the guy's exhausted.

Talking about the Canadian Grand Prix.

Poor driving skills. Not enough talent on the road.

Man, Mercovac really handed out a bunch of engine failures to the competition today... I mean, if you ask me, Strollo's line was a direct result of that mess Bottasov caused.

Sebastian Vettel is a family man. He's got a wife and a few kids back home.

At this rate, I think his kids are going to be the ones to wear him out.

If he's spending all day running around chasing them through the backyard, honestly, it’s no wonder he's exhausted.

I know, I was referring to his wife—that "piece" of a woman.
To me, these mistakes don't look like simple fatigue; it feels more like something is actually wrong up there, though I can't quite put my finger on what the root cause is.

Jason Campbell70 said:Just lacks driving skill.

I don't know, I wouldn't say it's just that. He had some really solid, consistent runs under his belt—not even counting that Red Bull era. It feels like such a sudden, drastic collapse. Maybe it's the pressure? Ferrari absolutely destroyed him. 🙂

Anyway, it's a shame he threw those points away. I'd love to see more drivers with at least a shred of actual personality, rather than these Kenovas who have zero presence.

Those mistakes don't look like burnout to me. It feels more like something's broken in his head, but I can't quite put my finger on what caused it.

Ferrari...
And he’s going to need a lifetime to recover from this. Honestly, who knows if he even will.

In all honesty, he screwed himself by joining his "dream team" even worse than Fernando Alonso did with his constant team-hopping...
That team screwed him over hundreds of times in every way imaginable. And still, he never breathed a word against them. He actually defended them even when even the blindest person could see they completely botched it...
Only for them to mess with his head using those games involving Charles Leclerc, and then toss him aside like yesterday's trash.

He'd honestly be better off retiring right then or taking a year or two off just to get his act together.
Instead, he joins a team where the organization clearly isn't much better, and to top it all off, he's got the boss's son parked right on the other side of the garage...

Oh, lovely. So the first thing that crosses their minds is that his wife is to blame. 🤣🤣🤣

Đizs !!!

Nissan knows Fetl is just another victim of those washed-out, overrated, totally mediocre women

My condolences

Well, there you have it. We’ve finally cracked the case 😁

Basically, putting a woman in charge at Ferrari is a recipe for a total disaster.

My advice? A quick list for you all: stop buying Ferrari just to impress your girlfriends.

's fault. Not because she's a woman, but just because she's blonde. 😬

Besides, what kind of woman is she, for crying out loud? 🤦
What kind of kid wears a red dress, carries a red bag, AND writes him messages in red letters????!!!!111
She's gotta have some sadistic streaks. 😳

I’ve got nothing to tell him except he needs to swap her out ASAP. Find himself a brunette with green eyes and everything will be just fine. 😁

Anyway, here's the photo...

This one is guaranteed to get his temperature up to the ideal level immediately. 😁

He actually started sinking long before he ever joined Ferrari.
Richard convincingly outclassed him during that 2014 Red Bull season.
Even though Richard had only just joined the team then, and even though he was brought in as the second driver.

That’s when Vettel heads off to Ferrari. Over there, having Kimi running around doesn't pose much of a threat.
Then, a driver arrives at Ferrari who has only one single Formula 1 season under his belt, and he also makes Vettel look like a complete amateur.
He repeats the feat the following season, but even more brutally.

Vettel was good when his teammates were sub-podium drivers like Webber or Kimi (and for most of his career, they were basically driving half-baked races), and they used to give him trouble.
But as soon as a truly relevant driver shows up—someone like Richard or Leclerc—Vettel loses his nerve and bolts from the team.

You have to take it slow with this stuff. If you go too hard, you’ll end up burning him out, and then we're right back where we started—nothing working properly. 😁
This setup cranks the heat from zero to a hundred in about 2.4 seconds. It takes roughly that same amount of time just to get it assembled. 🙂

Even though Ricciardo was just getting settled into the seat that year, and even though he was technically brought in as the number two driver.

Hmm, fair enough—you've got me there. I completely overlooked that.
