For me, Goonies has way more rewatch power than Odyssey or Network. Much higher 🙏

I mean, if a movie is supposedly "top tier" to you, shouldn't you be watching it over and over? Or are you just some special case who only watches "great" movies once and spends all your time rewatching total trash?

The theme in Rocky is nice, sure, but it’s been chewed up and spit out a thousand times. In those other films, it isn't. Especially not in Network.

That’s just subjective opinion. Personally, I can't stand Blade Runner or Brazil, and I think there are plenty of films out there far superior to them. However, I get why most critics and fans rank them higher than the movies I actually find interesting—or rather, movies that I believe are objectively better.

People around here seem way more obsessed with Rocky than they are with Rambo.

Trautman: Pressure? Let me just say that Rambo is The Best combat vet I've ever seen. A pure fighting machine with only one goal—to finish a war that someone else already lost. And if winning requires him to die? He'll do it. No fear, no regrets. And one more thing: what you might call hell, he calls home.

John Wick is a solid movie on its own. But in part 4, he totally lost his edge—didn't even use the knife until the very end, no shirtless scenes, none of that climbing through the trees stuff. He just held back.

They'll probably drop a fifth one in 2018 to hit the anniversary of the last installment, and Sylvester Stallone will be 72 by then.
