By halftime, it was 11-10 in favor of the Swedes—I really think the Americans missed their best window to pull away during that first half...

The Swedes had a disastrous 10-15 minute stretch, but then the Poles just completely vanished for the final 10... Still got hope though. There's still hope...

Lichtlein mentioned he went to the casino the other day and was sitting on a 67% defense rating. At this rate, they’re just going to cruise through the championship as complete underdogs. And honestly? That works for me.

If Swedish find some way to crack that zone defense, they’re going to walk right through it. Honestly, if Kim were on the court to drop those 3 or 4 long-range buckets, things would be a whole lot easier for us... I have to say, Poland really caught me off guard by dropping back into a defensive shell; they're actually holding their own quite well in transition.

And it doesn't stop there; even the color commentator is just hopeless. He brings absolutely nothing to the broadcast, just recycling stats, shouting "boom," and throwing out these incredibly vague clichés. It’s pretty obvious.

That said, I suspect this will still end up being a passing phase for Sweden, even though facing Poland would have been a much easier path.
