Michael Diaz4 said:Screw a warning if he’s basically weaponizing penalties to take out someone better than him just because he can't overtake them on track—all to secure a better finishing position for himself. If anything, he should be the one facing a massive penalty...

shadowhawk24 said:Look, you're being a total idiot. Seriously, I don't go around insulting people on this forum, but man, reading your posts is an absolute train wreck. It's actually giving me a headache...
Even though I can't stand Alonso, and I like Vettel even less, your logic here is just "brilliant"...
Just tell me, genius, how exactly did Ricciardo overtake Vettel and where? Just that.
Jason Campbell70 said:Well, honestly, it was just a standard drive through situation.
And it was such a minor drive through at that.
Of course, we can rule out any kind of disqualification—despite how much stormybadger8 loves to ramble on about it—but I don't see them handing out some ridiculous five-second penalty during the pit stop either.
As far as Alonso is concerned, it seems the officials were more than happy to look the other way today.

shadowhawk24 said:Forget the penalty...
You didn't actually answer my question. I was only referring to your last quote, but you've dumped a mountain of nonsense on me before, so let me just ask this one simple thing again.
Where exactly did Ricciardo outshine Vettel, and how?
I won't even get into Magnussen's penalty. The stewards made their call, just like they did at the start. Anyone actually following modern Formula 1—if you bother to look at how decisions are being made lately—can form their own opinion.
Gary Palmer8 said:So what exactly did Hamilton pull off in Canada???
Didn't he slow down three seconds per lap just to let Rosberg catch up?
graniteharbor502 said:I disagree. A warning should have been plenty for this one.
Michael Diaz4 said:I mean, what was actually wrong with his driving? It all came down to tactics and pit strategy, but Sebastian Vettel put in an excellent race, virtually flawless. That move where he sliced through the whole pack to fight for fifth was a massive achievement. He absolutely tore them apart. You can clearly see he’s the premier driver here and a world champion... Most of them had decent races, except for Mass and Alonso...
shadowhawk24 said:Look, I've already mentioned this—I’m not exactly a die-hard fan of either Alonso or Vettel. But honestly, hearing you trash the first one by claiming he can't handle corners, while Vettel manages to mess up a turn two races in a row... and then suggesting Ferrari is the fastest car just because they have the highest top speed? It really rubs me the wrong way.

Did we even watch the same race?
Aside from him overshooting in the first lap and losing his spot to Nico Rosberg.
That brings up the question: how did Daniel Ricciardo pass Sebastian Vettel and where?
Sebastian Vettel made a mistake
Why was Vettel struggling through the entire race in the second sector (the one with the corners where he's supposed to be a master)?
Why was it so obvious on the broadcast that his car was sliding terribly on corner exits? I should note that Daniel Ricciardo didn't have that issue.
Sebastian Vettel didn't drive an excellent race, not even close. If we were grading, he'd get a C. Fighting for fifth was fine, but he was on softer, newer, faster tires—honestly, he shouldn't have even been there; he should have been fighting for the podium if he'd driven a truly great race.
If Sebastian Vettel was right behind Nico Rosberg with a broken wing, in my opinion, that was basically an invitation for a win. He messed up and lost his position to Daniel Ricciardo.
Look, I've already said it: I'm not a fan of Fernando Alonso, nor am I a fan of Sebastian Vettel. But your constant bashing of the winner, claiming he can't handle corners while Sebastian Vettel makes mistakes two races in a row, and insisting that Ferrari is the fastest car just because they have the highest top speed... all of that really gets under my skin.

Don't worry, I won't correct you anymore. 😁
