Shouldn't it be a great race instead? 🙏🤣

While that absolute clown is busy sh*tting all over Twitter from within the Mercedes camp, let’s call this what it actually was—just a racing incident. It was a whole lot of nothing, really—much ado about nothing. It was just a duel where neither driver was willing to blink, but since the whiny one folded, suddenly everyone's acting like it's the end of the world. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115558

Folks really need to quit playing favorites with Lewis Hamilton. Sure, this was Nico Rosberg's mistake, but the idea that he did it intentionally? Please. Yeah, Lewis Hamilton had a puncture, but how do you even plan to pop someone else's tire? He could’ve lost a wing and trashed his own race in the process—it was just a momentary lapse in awareness, a standard racing incident. And to those claiming Nico isn't a top-tier driver—how do you explain him racking up more pole positions this season?

I'm American and have never liked Lewis Hamilton. Don't get me wrong, he's a world-class driver—no one is disputing that—but his attitude is just off. It feels like all he does is complain and point fingers; it’s never his own fault. Plus, those childish comments about being "hungrier" for the title because of his background compared to Nico... it's just nonsense. Let the racing speak for itself. Nico hasn't spent a single second bashing Lewis Hamilton. If Lewis Hamilton wants to truly be the best, he needs better character and a better mindset. Look at Ricciardo, for instance—he’s had his share of ups and downs this season, yet he always keeps a smile on his face regardless of the chaos. Whereas Lewis just goes looking for someone else to take the fall. This is a team sport—you either sink or swim together, and he seriously needs to grasp that.

How absolutely shocking and totally unexpected that Toto Wolff and his team would claim we saw nothing more than a simple racing incident today.
Truly surprising.

Look, if someone actually slammed into someone else and we had to go hunting for a culprit—fine, sure. But at least today we saw dozens of those wheel-to-wheel moments where they were just fighting for position, nothing more. The real issue is that once that rear tire gets clipped, you're done. Even if you tried to do it on purpose, you’d probably fail a million times before pulling off the same result. That's just how it goes.

If this were an isolated incident, you might call it a fluke.

But there's a pattern emerging here, one that traces all the way back to those battles with Nico Rosberg.

Once is a coincidence. Twice might be luck. But a third time? That's something else entirely.

If I were in Lewis Hamilton's shoes, I would have lost my cool with Rosberg a long time ago.
Instead, Hamilton is handling the whole situation with incredible grace.

If I were in Lewis Hamilton's shoes, I would have lost my cool with Rosberg the very first time this happened.
Yet, Hamilton seems to be handling all of this incredibly well.

He's just complaining too much. Either commit to some serious trash talk or just shut up and drive until the end of the season. This cat-and-mouse game feels silly. If they had interviewed him on Sky immediately after Lap 3—say, if he had actually retired like he was supposed to—he probably would have brought up Rosberg, his mom, his grandma, his sister, and everyone else under the sun. Instead, he acts like a gentleman, only to start pointing fingers again right after the hearing. This inconsistency is frustrating. And it isn't just about this single race. I don't usually buy into conspiracies, but things are starting to look pretty strange...

Kevin Magnussen is such a wild card. 👎 👎

The first solid move from Sebastian Vettel that I actually love is when he showed everyone exactly who’s in charge. 😬

But this whole thing is just a continuation of the drama following Nico Rosberg.

And why is that?
Simply because British journalists are the absolute overlords of F1 media...

Let's be real: regarding that collision, Rosberg isn't any more at fault than Lewis Hamilton.
Just two stubborn guys who refused to back down... Hamilton got the better end of the deal, plain and simple. ☕

P. S. If the roles were reversed—if Lewis was behind and Rosberg was ahead—you can bet your life they'd be blaming Rosberg all over again. 😍

+1

Nico Rosberg is in a better spot here.
Lewis Hamilton needs to realize he’d be better off backing off just a little (like in that situation yesterday). He’s the faster driver; he needs clean air more than anyone.
Besides, I could maybe wrap my head around being that relentless if it were the last 5-10 laps. Doing it right at the start? That's just pure stupidity.

That’s Kimi Räikkönen's best finish all year! I just hope it wasn't some kind of fluke.

And honestly, IMO, Fernando Alonso is still the only driver to score points in all 12 races this season. It says a lot about the car, but it definitely says even more about the guy behind the wheel.

But this whole mess with Rosberg? It’s got deep roots.

Once is a fluke, twice might be luck, but a third time... yeah, right.

If I were Lewis Hamilton, I would've ripped Rosberg's head off the first time this happened.
Instead, Hamilton is just breezing through the whole thing.

Look, Rosberg is a smart kid. He knows exactly where he's vulnerable—specifically, if Hamilton gets ahead of him, he's toast. But he's clever enough to orchestrate a crash that looks like a total racing accident. He's shady, sure, but he's calculating. Not an idiot. At the end of the day, those points are staying in his pocket.

Rosberg is basically the new Alain Prost. What he pulled today is straight out of the Suzuka '89 playbook. It’s obvious it was pure Prost, but it was executed so perfectly that nobody can actually pin it on him. And honestly, Suzuka '89 was the gold standard for trolling—nobody ever proved Prost did it on purpose, and they even managed to get a certain Senna all worked up in the end.

Nico Rosberg is definitely in the stronger position here.
Lewis Hamilton needs to realize that playing it a bit more tactical would actually serve him better (take yesterday’s situation for example). He has the raw pace—what he really needs is clean air to work with.
Furthermore, I might be able to wrap my head around being that uncompromising if we were talking about the final 5-10 laps. Doing it this way, right at the start? That's just bordering on stupidity.

Plus one more thing.

And to take it even further (😁) — Lewis would have done the exact same damn thing if the roles were reversed, and then we'd all sit back and watch how Lewis's little minions cry about how some "rude savage" intentionally ruined his race.

What a circus. 🤣

P. S.
"He said he could have avoided it, but he didn't want to," said Hamilton after meeting with Rosberg and Mercedes bosses Toto Wolff and Paddy Low. "He basically said, 'I did it to prove a point.'"

🙂 🙂

Just imagine the scenario where these idiots actually fail to consolidate their lead and tame Nick and Luj—and then we watch Ricciardo snatch the 😍😍🤣
title right from under their noses.

I know you aren't exactly a Hamilton fan, but this was Rosberg's mistake. Honestly, I'm convinced anyone else in that position wouldn't have pushed that hard—especially not a teammate. Then again, since Rosberg hasn't exactly been able to match Hamilton's pace on track lately, maybe he was just trying to flex for the crew—proving he won't just sit there whining, even if it risks screwing over both of them. To be fair, once he realized he might clip his wing on Hamilton's tire, he probably decided to go for it. Besides, if he hadn't overtaken him, he might have lost the position anyway by running wide. But pulling that move in Lap 2 against your own teammate is just morbid; if he actually had the pace, he'd have plenty of time later.

On another note, the only thing I agree with you on is that I'm happy for Kimi Räikkönen. If he can actually contribute to the car's development through his feedback—and if that leads to him being able to slap Fernando Alonso one day—then he's definitely got what it takes.

Solid race. 👍
Ricciardo proved himself once again, damn right. 🙏
That little black poodle with a diamond in its ear. 🤣
The Maestro... sitting in 8th place! 🤣
The four-time fraud is left way out in the dust. 🤣
With that fresh set of softs, he shaved a hell of a second off Ricciardo, who was struggling on those worn-out mediums during the last nine laps. 😂
Is there any chance Ricciardo can grab a Championship? 🤷
Not if he keeps sparking like that in the Mercedes, though if they actually gave him back his points from Australia, maybe.
But honestly, no chance. 😬
