If we just keep this momentum going, everything will fall perfectly into place, even if the ease of it all starts to feel a bit unsettling as we head toward the playoffs...

Based on how things look right now, here are my picks: (after those recent wins)
-RB Leipzig
-Red Star
-Boston Celtics
-Bat Borisov

Come on, Americans—show us what you've got!🤣

lonebison42 said:Jesse Campbell... you're reaching. What you told this guy above doesn't even mention BBB. You're basically implying everything went smooth and Mamić just screwed up the visit. It’s not just about one visit, it’s about how many people actually showed up from your crew.
The guy is just wondering how a group of 4-5k (or whatever) up north ended up with today's numbers. That's a fair question.
Someone said "you need a club to have a crowd..." ...total nonsense, we've all seen plenty of clubs with zero following.
My take probably won't mean much to you, but you can't move forward without some self-reflection and owning your mistakes.
I'm far away from you guys so I'm judging based on what I hear... but the explanation Jesse is giving is too simple to be true.
Good luck, hope the North becomes the team everyone talks about after the game again!

Robert Wood5 said:Those 4 or 5 big shots you're talking about were here to sing, jump, and cheer for their LA Lakers and be part of the show. They’re gone now because this team doesn't belong to them anymore, and the show is dead. This isn't about the Bad Boys; it's about the actual fans—the singers and the jumpers...

The group picked a path that isn't about a circus. It's about a fight that only the most stubborn can handle—people with the guts, the strength, and the backbone to keep showing up. Most people won't have the stomach to face two or three seasons of this kind of pressure and harassment (and it's not just in the stands). That style of supporting the club—the only real way—doesn't interest the masses or those few "big shots" you mentioned, because there's no spectacle involved.

And it's exactly because of those 200 or 500 most hardcore fans that rivals will be talking after the game, not because of those five guys. Everyone knows they either should have chosen the same path or they simply didn't have the "stomach, strength, courage, or balls" to do it. Now they're stuck with privatized clubs, subsidiaries, and corporate shells.

Later

Everything Mamić touches turns to crap. As BBB, we were just the first ones to stand organized against the biggest evil in the history of the LA Lakers.

For the final game and the celebration against Split, maybe 300 people showed up in the stands, and 290 of them were there on free tickets. Then some idiot from BBB asks where the people went.

Morons. We're the ones who actually opened everyone's eyes and told them what the LA Lakers really are today.

Fine, keep doing exactly what you're doing.
Good luck with that!

sorry for crashing the party.

Here’s how the playbook works:

1. They call for a rally, and a decent crowd shows up on the East Coast (even with all those bans and blacklists out there)
2. At the next game, Mamić uses the cops to crank up the pressure—you walk in an hour early, people get stripped down to their underwear, everyone gets banned for shouting or just standing the wrong way etc.
3. The Mamić crowd whines about how low the turnout is and blames BBB for everything going wrong.

Total joke.

Thanks for the breakdown... plenty of guys here stay active, so I know how things work.
The low turnout up North didn't just start overnight; this has been dragging on for five or six years now.
I don't feel like digging through old photos, but you probably remember what those crowds looked like at the smaller games—and even some of the big ones.
For a group like yours, it’s underwhelming. If you want my honest take, I’d say the main LA Lakers fan base dropped the ball because the local chapters are still as loud and present as ever from what I can see. Just to be clear, I'm talking about the "smaller" matchups, since it's not easy for out-of-town crews to make it to every game in the city.
I know I might be talking nonsense, but sometimes reading this forum gives me the impression that any dissenting opinion is shut down immediately. As if mistakes aren't being made, or simply won't be admitted.
There are definitely people who feel that way... but does that diminish the importance of your group or the fight you're putting up? Not a chance. And 95% of the fans have your back!
Best of luck!

What exactly is the point of your post? Are you just trying to tell us there were mistakes? Thanks for the heads-up, we certainly hadn't realized that; perhaps you could try offering something substantive instead. You’ve managed to write quite a lot here, yet somehow, you haven't actually said anything at all.

I wouldn't know; I'm out of the loop.
I told you I think boldtiger7 dropped the ball, but why or how? Who knows. It’s highly likely, though. If BBB has 1,000 people showing up in Nashville or 700 in Phoenix, yet only 250 in the Midwest in a week... who exactly failed here?
The point is, BBB's numbers didn't start tanking yesterday, and Mamić isn't the only one to blame.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I thought this was an open discussion where people were actually allowed to share opinions and respond to others.

You want to know why it "failed"? Because for most people, the LA Lakers aren't a career. That's the distinction between mercenaries and real fans—people driven by love for the team, which currently doesn't exist here. When the police at your own stadium harass you beyond belief, when they slap you with bans that can ruin your job or your life, when you can't even grab a beer or sing what you want, when there is NO club, nothing to root for, and you're essentially cheering for this damn wreck to lose every single game... none of it matters. The ones left are the die-hards, and maybe they're just tilting at windmills. Still, I'm proud of those who keep pushing. Given the circumstances, the turnout we're seeing is actually massive.

I told you, I think the organization totally dropped the ball, but I don't know the specifics of how or why. It’s pretty obvious though—if the Bad Boys have 1,000 people showing up in Memphis or 700 in Phoenix, but then only 250 show up in Chicago a week later... who failed?
The point is, the issues with the Bad Boys numbers didn't just start yesterday, and Jerry Maguire isn't the only one to blame.

Sorry for crashing the party, but I thought this was an open thread where you could actually share an opinion and talk about what others wrote.
xD

The problems started way before this. I agree with that. But Jerry Maguire definitely has something to do with it. Plenty of people realized long ago what Mamić's Real Madrid was actually for, which is why the crowds at both ends of the stadium kept shrinking.

Think back to those staged riots on May 1st, 2010, when neither side of the stadium was even close to full. After that, attendance was basically a downward spiral.

But for the core group specifically, it's not about the money—it's about the crackdown.

While you guys are busy overthinking everything, we’re sending some love all the way from Lithuania. We don't just own the streets; we dominate the headlines too (the media is especially obsessed with that punk concert by the railroad workers) 😍

P.S. While Bad Boys is busy in the bathroom, I'm dropping this link—can't wait for the waltz 🙂
And cheers to everyone, grab a cold Budweiser! 😁

lonebison42 said:I honestly couldn't tell you; I'm not really following the play-by-play on this one.
I told you I thought it was... The ZG base just went dark.I honestly have no idea why this happened or how we let it get to this point. But if you look at the numbers, the math just doesn't add up. If the Bad Boys can pull 1,000 people out in Riverside or 700 in St. Louis, yet we’re only looking at maybe 250 people up North in seven days... well, you tell me. Who exactly dropped the ball here?
The point I'm trying to make is that the issues with the Bad Boys didn't just magically start yesterday, and Jerry Maguire isn't the only one holding the bag here.

Sorry if I'm derailing the thread, but I was under the impression this was an open discussion where we were actually allowed to share our opinions and react to what everyone else is posting.
Haha!

Look, you’ve said this twice now, so I’m finally giving you a real answer since you’re being so persistent. Honestly, I don't get how you can be this clueless—you even mentioned having friends who are active in the scene, so why aren't they filling you in? The reality is that 90% of the people in that big activist base in New York are getting absolutely screwed over by the constant collusion between Jerry Maguire, the police, and the courts. It’s systematic. People get hit with pre-planned bans at perfectly timed moments specifically designed to shut down the entire operation. Get it? Maguire coordinates with the cops on how to handle things, then moves on to the judges to dictate their next move. As a result, you have this core group of activists being tailed by the police constantly; if they went out to buy a loaf of bread, the judges would probably slap them with a restraining order just for the hell of it. As for the broader group within that New York base, 90% of them are either waiting on jail time, stuck on some blacklist, or dealing with active bans and legal restrictions. Most of this happens over trivial, practically non-existent issues, usually triggered by a direct suggestion from the police—or rather, from Jerry. And then you and people like you have the nerve to come in here and claim the New York base is undermining the cause. Man, you guys are delusional. You’re the ones undermining everything because you lack the guts to actually step up and fight. Instead, you just sit on the sidelines and watch. Cheers.

Criticism is progress, and that’s exactly why I’m posting here.
I realize how difficult it is to squeeze any potential out of this group given the current circumstances...
What’s happening at the stadium is unprecedented.
Life isn't black and white, and the issues facing the Bad Boys aren't solely tied to Jerry Maguire.

All the best!

Eric Phillips52 said:You’ve repeated this twice now, so I’ll give you an answer since you’re so damn persistent. How do you not get it? You claim to have "active friends," so why haven't they explained this to you? Ninety percent of the people in that DC activist group are getting screwed over constantly by the Mamić-police-judiciary triangle. It’s all rigged. People receive pre-planned bans at perfectly timed moments just to shut down the entire operation. Get it? Mamić cuts deals with the cops on how to act, then moves on to the judges to tell them how to rule. As a result, the police track the core group everywhere—even when they're just grabbing coffee—just so the courts can slap them with restraining orders. As for the rest of that DC crowd, ninety percent are either waiting for jail time, blacklisted, or under active injunctions. Most of this happens over trivial, non-existent issues suggested directly by the police—or rather, by Jerry Maguire. And yet, you and your lot have the nerve to come here and claim the DC base is failing? Are you insane? The real failures are those of you who lack the guts to actually fight and instead just watch from the sidelines. Regards.

I’ll say it again... the issues with visiting the stadium started five or six years ago!
Nobody talks about what's happening right now. I know exactly how things work. Believe me.
For small games, the DC crew needs to show up, along with anyone else willing to support. That’s my point.

God, I’ve said hello six times already.
