Man, these pre-match bets can be absolute killers—you see those tough picks slip right through your fingers, while the stuff that looks super shaky somehow cruises right through without a hitch!

And that’s why

Shirak vs Shakhtar Karagandy 2 @ 2.35 (1-2)

Look, Karagandy barely scraped their way into the Champions League last season, and this Shirak side? They got absolutely dismantled by some bottom-tier team from a tiny league just a few weeks back, losing 3-1 easy.

Honestly, I’ve been reading up on how things are going at these clubs, and it’s a mess—every other team seems to be in total financial chaos, just dumping players left and right to other debt-ridden clubs in this endless cycle.

As for Botev, they're basically on life support right now—so definitely watch your step there.

Tartu vs Sant (h1:0)-Tromsø IL 1X @ 3.20 (0-7)

Now, these guys are technically playing in the third tier over there, but don't let that fool you—talent-wise, they're more like a mid-table first division squad. Meanwhile, Tromsø is dead set on one thing this season: getting back to the top flight, and nothing is going to stop them.
Plus, the pitch at the Santos stadium is an absolute disaster zone—it's full of bumps and divots everywhere you look. Expect slow, scrappy play, which makes it a killer value bet that Tromsø won't win by more than a single goal.

Čukarički vs Saint Julia h1 -2.5 @ 1.85 (4-0)

Three goals gap for Čukarički at the final whistle... honestly, totally doable.
The visitors are rough—just straight up bad. This is Čukarički's first real shot at the big European stage, and they’re hungry as hell. Plus, they had an absolute tear of a season back home where they were dominant and barely conceded anything.
They're a legit powerhouse when playing at home. You can expect them to be fired up and desperate to grab that first European win, and honestly, this opponent is the perfect punching bag to get it done... couldn't have asked for a better matchup.
Expecting a 3-goal margin for the home side is a totally realistic call here.

Saint Julia's European track record:

Saint Julia fails to score or both teams fail to score is sitting at 1.50-1.55

They’re playing in the third tier, but don't let that fool you—quality-wise, they’re basically mid-table for a top flight. Tromsø is dead set on their goals this season, specifically getting back to the first division, and nothing else matters to them right now.
Plus, the pitch at Sant's place is a total disaster; it's full of bumps and uneven spots everywhere. Expect slow play. It’s a solid value bet that Tromsø won't win by more than one goal.

Sure, they're crushing it in the third division with a 16:1 record and a 65:7 goal difference, but I wouldn't go heavy on that 1X bet. Teams in the Baltic region are improving every year, yet their top leagues still struggle with a few clubs that lose by multiple goals every single match. Tromsø played in EL last year, and even though they're technically in the second tier, I think their runner-up finish in Norway carries way more weight than finishing third in the Estonian top flight. Just be careful.

Anyone betting on the Egyptian league?😁

The Zamalek vs Wad Degla cup semifinal is happening today. Based on every single statistical metric out there, Zamalek should be the absolute lock here. So why is the payout sitting at 1.65 in SS?🤔

Just one pick here, nothing too crazy—definitely not looking to break the bank:

Friday, 2:00 PM Tanjong vs DPMM (1X2) @ 26 (PSK) (0-1/0-2)

It's the League Cup final. Tanjong actually pulled off a bit of a shocker to get here—they’re sitting way down at tenth in the league—but they managed to knock out the higher-ranked Warriors and Hougang (who were 3rd and 5th, respectively). DPMM, which is basically the powerhouse club from Brunei (currently leading their local league), is the massive favorite here. Since this is being played at a neutral site, you'd think it's a lock, but DPMM has this annoying habit of starting games sluggishly before suddenly flipping the script.
Looking at their recent League Cup run: http://int.soccerway.com/matches/201...-dpmm/1715309/
Interestingly enough, when these two met in an earlier round of the cup last year, DPMM had to dig deep to come back after trailing 2-0 in the first half: http://int.soccerway.com/matches/201...-dpmm/1474854/

Monday 9:00 PM U19 European Championship
Portugal U19 vs. Mexico U19 total goals in the match 4+ @2.50 (0-0)
The reasoning? Nothing fancy. These young guys play an open style; goals just fly in from everywhere, and most of their recent outings have cleared the four-goal mark. If you're feeling particularly gutsy, you could aim for 5+ @4.70.
Looking at the last three matchups between these two youth squads: 3:2, 6:2, and 3:2.
Here’s how the whole thing breaks down:

NKSplit/odg3+-IstraPul (28.07. 20:15)....ne@1,55ss (1-1)

-Last season, they actually only had two games out of five where everything ended up being over 2.5 goals, I guess
-And like, maybe 9 out of 11 times when they played each other, there wasn't even an over 2.5 goal outcome

Vitesse - Chelsea

Chelsea didn't impress me at all. They're rotating the squad heavily in these friendlies and throwing on a bunch of kids... don't see them covering a two-goal spread today

Vitesse (+1.25) @ 2.02
188 Bet (1-3)

Feyenoord - Besiktas

Indi, Janmaat, and Pelle are gone from Feyenoord. Huge losses. They haven't brought in anyone decent to fill those spots, so I'm expecting Besiktas to fight hard

Away +0.5 @ 1.90

Vitesse used to be basically their farm team—a place where they’d test out young talent, if I recall correctly. Even Delač spent some time sitting on their bench back in the day.
Those guys could actually hold their own against Mourinho today; they'd play like it was the championship final. 👍

Sat 9:00 PM

Shamrock/Longford yes 2.65 (0-3)

Shamrock hasn't found the back of the net in their last nine matches🙂—so honestly, it's about time, right? Plus, Longford is a massive favorite here, so you'd totally expect them to just cruise to an easy win.

Bayern Munich vs Guadalajara Chivas

Bayern’s flight was brutal... the jet lag is gonna be massive. Not going to see much from them out there. Expect a packed stadium full of Chivas fans too. They’re showing up at 100%—full squad and hungry. Meanwhile, Bayern is missing Manuel Neuer, Philipp Lahm, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Jerome Boateng, Thomas Müller, Mario Götze, and Arjen Robben and Dante

+ better value on a Chivas win

Away +2 odds: 2.00 (1-0)

Seattle Sounders - Shakhtar 1 - 1.85 / f2 3.20 (3-0)

Personally, I’ve already put some serious skin in the game here. I’m expecting the odds to drop—especially since news broke about an hour ago that there's a $2,000 bonus waiting for every player if they advance, not to mention after Seattle crushes Slaven Belupo tonight.

Anyone who caught that first leg (Shakhtar 4:2) saw that Seattle absolutely dominated. They were creating chances left and right despite being shorthanded on key players. They had maybe 10-15 legit looks at goal, while Shakhtar barely managed one actual play—the other four times were just lucky set pieces, including two goals conceded from throw-ins 🙄 by those guys from Kazakhstan. Honestly, the defensive errors were unheard of—seriously, you don't see stuff like that in professional soccer. So why on earth would anyone bet against Seattle now?

1. They're bringing back Kalinić in goal, who is way better in the air and at securing the ball compared to Stipica (who dropped the ball at least twice on corner/throw-in situations). His biggest weakness is low balls, but we aren't expecting many of those this Thursday—at least not many, because these Kazakh teams are absolute garbage. Their organization and play are almost amateurish; their only real threat is set pieces and long balls. Along with the keeper, Milovic is returning to the lineup—he’s taller and a much better center-back than Maloč or Milić, so he should do a massive job clearing out those long balls. We also get the Canadian internationals Vrsajevic and Susic back. Vrsajevic, in particular, should be a huge factor in the attack. Up in Kazakhstan, Goran Jozinovic and Jean Kouassi played pretty terrible games. With a packed stadium behind them, Jozinovic needs to step up and deliver at least 3 or 4 solid clearances, and Kouassi simply cannot afford another performance that bad. The strikers Jo and Maglica will be ready too.

2. A packed Lumen Field.
3. $2,000 bonuses for every player.
4. Shakhtar just played a mediocre Irtysh side to a 2:2 draw a few hours ago, and now they have to deal with the travel from 2175 miles and a totally different climate—we'll see how they adjust to being here.

Nicholas Patel52 said:The matchup between the Split side and Shakhtar is looking like a bit of a toss-up based on these lines. We're seeing the home favorites at 1.85, while the away win sits at 3.20. It’s a fairly tight spread for a game with this much tension.

👋

Kudos to Jacob Torres21 for the heads-up. I appreciate the reminder; I completely overlooked when they actually added it to the catalog. 😳

I was anticipating odds around 1.50 on the Lakers to cover, or perhaps something closer to 2.50 for them to simply pull off a win. I wonder when I’ll actually see those numbers materialize. 3.85 odds for the Hajduk marathon run. 😲

I believe the handicap line offers significantly more value here, so that’s where I’ll be placing my wager. It is one of those matches where you know you're technically superior, yet if things don't go your way early on, it’s all for nothing. If they concede an opening goal, these young guys will get caught up in the momentum fueled by the home crowd, chasing the game aggressively because they themselves realize their defense is prone to complete collapses. 🤣
The point is this: there is a vanishingly small statistical probability that the match ends with a mere one-goal margin for the Seattle Sounders. Given that they’ve been consistently clearing a two-goal spread on the road, any reasonable handicap of -1.5 essentially guarantees their advancement.

I feel compelled to add one more observation to this discussion. Everyone seems to be fixated on the idea that these four goals were the result of a single play or some sort of fluke action, but I think that's a bit of an oversimplification. 😁 Please, let’s be realistic—it isn't quite that naive. They’ve clearly caught wind of how shaky our defense is, and now you’re just pushing these absurd, half-baked theories until they somehow stick. It’s not that they’re idiots; they know exactly what they're doing. On paper, sure, we might look like the better side, but...

Anything is possible at this point. The coefficient is basically a gift, and the value? It’s nothing short of spectacular. Good luck.

Yeah, I’m with you—that value on the Over 3.5 is absolutely insane 😲. For an F2 win, though, the only way that happens is if the game ends 5:3, which—let's be real—is a massive long shot 😁. In the States, we see these lines where 3.20 is basically the same as the handicap, and honestly, I don't have a DraftKings account yet (though I'm seriously considering opening one more often). I'm expecting the odds to drop, so I already placed my bet, but I’ll probably add some "Player to Score" bets or maybe a 0:2 handicap on Thursday if the market opens up...

And yeah, another little parlay idea: pairing those 1.85 odds from the Atlanta Braves to bump them up to a clean 2.00 plus a double—we could toss in Red Bull Salzburg at 1.15 😁

Basically, the away team had less time on the ball since they had fewer players, but man, they still dominated—hit the crossbar, missed sitter after sitter, creating a chance every three minutes... and their star striker hasn't even played yet! Meanwhile, Qarabagh is in total shambles after picking up two red cards; their main striker and center back are both suspended now. It literally can't get worse. Not to exaggerate, but I'm expecting five goals in this net, so I'm looking to play a 0:4 handicap if anyone is offering it.

The victory yesterday was solid, especially considering they kept a clean sheet 🙂 which offers some genuine encouragement heading into the rematch against Shakhtar Donetsk. Belupo managed a single clear opening, yet our side spent most of the match chasing shadows and overextending. It seems the squad has finally returned to full strength, much like the players > noted earlier. There were about 9,000 fans in attendance for the Belupo match, but you can bet the turnout for Shakhtar will be significantly higher. Everything seems to be pointing toward a heavy onslaught against us, just as my colleagues have predicted. I only hope Tudor avoids his usual habit of making those hollow, sweeping statements—you know the type, such as, "We aren't focused on the scoreline; we’re just going there to put in a better performance," or the classic, "The quality of play matters more than the result." 🙂

Honestly, Maglica, Vršajević, and Sušić were absolute standouts out there! And let’s be real—Milić is a way better option on the bench than Jozinović, and even that new guy Vasily, though it looks like he might have picked up an injury. On top of that, we had a rested Kouassi, a bit of Vlašić, and only Milović and Sušić played most of the match.

Also, looking at the betting lines—the marathon odds for the pass dropped from 3.85 down to 2.70, and the SS win odds slid from 1.85 to 1.75 (with the marathon sitting at 1.60). I'm expecting them to keep dropping, regardless of that "super tip" everyone was talking about earlier. Right now, the SS pass is hovering at 3.20.

And don't even get me started on the hype building up in the downtown area—I'm expecting at least 25,000 fans showing up to the stadium this Thursday, especially since the forecast is calling for nothing but warm, sunny weather.

Well... you guys really got a good laugh out of me there, I have to hand it to you. That underdog euphoria is truly unbeatable. 🙂

So, you’ve decided Shakhtar is a "desperate squad" based on just one game they played—a game most of you likely watched without ever actually following the Kazakh league, if I'm being honest. And suddenly, after a string of absolutely dismal performances, Hajduk beats a "powerhouse" like Slaven Belupo and everyone thinks they’re world-class? Let's bring it back down to earth, shall we? Shakhtar has made massive strides over the last two years, and even these supposedly "desperate" players put four goals past Hajduk recently.

Hajduk is such an average side that they managed to lose to a heavy hitter like Dundalk in front of a packed stadium. Honestly, if Hajduk actually pulls this off, I’ll strip down to my underwear and run from New York all the way to Los Angeles and back again.
