Crusaders-Dungannon over 2.5 goals @ 1.45 ; both teams to score @ 1.90 (1-0)

I’ve been hunting for a way to tie this back to the German hockey I mentioned earlier, and I think I finally stumbled onto a matchup I almost missed.
When playing teams like this, the home side usually finds the net a few times, and I’m pretty confident that’s happening tonight too. Out of the top four, Crusaders concede the most goals at home—they're sitting at a 24:16 goal difference over 11 games. That tells me they play an open style, basically trying to outscore whoever they're facing.
It works for them, too; they're only 4 points behind Linfield and have the most lethal attack in the league alongside Cliftonville.
I'm taking the over here. It feels like a lock given their playing style and the level of competition, and since I included the BTTS option, the odds look pretty sweet.
Good luck, everyone.

Is it really that hard to remember to use bold?

I happened to notice that Stuttgart hasn't managed to find the back of the net in the first half of any of their home matches this season—that's seven games in total. 😲
Why not just bet on them staying scoreless today? They might as well keep the streak alive. 🤷 😁

Pinnacle is offering the best odds at 2.09, while the local US books at HL have them at 1.95.

I’ll put a tiny bit on it—nothing serious.

A little late-night update for you guys:

Saprissa vs Herediano Over 2.5 goals @ 2.30 (1:1)
Sydney vs Wellington Over 2.5 goals @ 2.00 (0:2)

First up, we've got the matchup in Costa Rica—well, thinking about it in terms of high-scoring trends—where both sides have been averaging over three goals per game all season. This is the second leg of the final, and since the first match ended 4-2 in favor of Saprissa, I'm expecting an absolute shootout. The home side has to chase down a massive deficit, so I wouldn't be shocked at all if we see another scoreline just like that one.

Then there's the matchup in Australia. They’re also hovering around that three-goal average, but looking at their head-to-head history really sold me on this pick. Four out of their last five meetings, five out of seven, and actually 14 of their last 20 matches have seen both teams find the net with at least three goals scored in total. History usually repeats itself, right?

BURNLEY-LIVERPOOL FC X 4,00 ss (0-1)

I only play stuff like this when my gut is screaming at me. Seeing this "hockey-style" odds line just felt too right to pass up.
Obviously, calling this a "lock" would be ridiculous, so let's call it what it is: a heavy hunch backed by a few decent stats.
Liverpool have been leaking goals lately. Only Queens Park Rangers have actually performed better than them recently, and even then, it's mostly because they're playing at home. In eight matches, they’ve scored 12 but conceded 16—that says everything you need to know about their defense. They’ve managed three wins and five losses, but what I like is that they haven't played to a draw yet.
The home side has a pretty solid squad and plays with plenty of grit. Their home record stands at 2-4-3 with a goal difference of 7:11. They're in decent shape, too; they just beat Southampton, and before that, they split points with Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
We all know how Liverpool are playing this season. Sometimes they just lack a bit of luck—like that match against United—but that's just sports.
You've got a motivated home team in good form where every point matters, facing a struggling visitor who will likely play it safe early on to avoid an immediate disaster. Everything points toward a draw, especially given these crazy hockey-style odds.
Good luck, everyone!

Philadelphia Eagles - New Orleans Saints 3+ 2,05 (1-3)

- My reasoning for placing this wager is quite simple: despite their recent struggles, the New Orleans Saints still fundamentally resemble that squad we saw at the start of the season, back when they were effortlessly dispatching the smaller clubs and maintaining their position within the LP qualifying spots. However, following a much more demanding stretch of fixtures, they have stumbled significantly, suffering four defeats in their last six outings. Furthermore, the Saints tend to play a particularly gritty style when traveling away from home, resulting in an aggregate scoreline of 7:7. I truly feel that the time has come for that trend to finally break, which is precisely why I am backing this specific outcome...
+ Given that the Saints' last five away matches have all stayed under 3 goals, I feel it is high time for one of them to finally go over :klap:

Good luck to everyone

Tottenham-Manchester Utd 2 @ 2.30 (0-0)

I’ve gotta say, I'm feeling pretty optimistic because I just caught the replay of Leicester-Tottenham from last night—man, around the 20th minute, Leicester let so many golden opportunities slip right through their fingers! They were totally driving the play and absolutely deserved at least a draw, if not a win. Honestly, Tottenham looks so shaky right now—you could walk right through them from any angle!

But hey, United is looking sharp—everyone's back in the mix! With Mata, Robin van Persie, Falcao, and even Wayne Rooney ready to step up, they could be seriously fighting for that title before you know it!

And can you believe it's only been 43 hours since the last round? United wrapped things up against Newcastle pretty early on—they didn't even break a sweat in the second half—whereas Tottenham was sweating bullets until the very last second!

Berkane - Casablanca over 1.5 (1st half) @ 3.80 (0-0)

To be honest, I'm not even looking at the stats here—it's more about the fact that the Moroccan league (just the top flight) has been struggling through some chaos for a week now, and things really hit a boiling point today (just look at the history of today's matches)... I just can't pass up these odds for two goals in the first half on a game starting in just a few minutes...
(For those playing it safe, over 1 pays out $260 on a $100 bet—basically 2.60 odds—actually, thinking about it, that might be even better value, but unfortunately you can only place that one online)

Sevilla FC/BTTS-No @ 1.70 (1-0)

Celta hasn't seen a BTTS in their last 8 matches—actually, they haven't scored a single goal in the last 6! And Sevilla? They've gone without a BTTS in their last 3, including that total shutout disaster at home against Eibar recently.
It’s high time Celta finally finds the back of the net, isn't it? But honestly, I’m having a hard time seeing them pull off a win without conceding, especially since Sevilla looks like they might drop another massive result.
Last season, they played it out with two 0-1 and 1-0 results—that makes three straight instances where they've basically fallen flat on their faces.

Dag & Red/odg-Bury FC yes @ 1.75 (1-0)

Man, Dag hasn't found the back of the net in four matches now—it's been a dry spell for sure! But hey, if you look back a bit, their last outing was actually a solid 2-0 away win against the favorites, Bury. So, wouldn't it be about time they finally broke this streak? Honestly, it feels like a total toss-up for Bury to lose to the same underdog twice without Dag managed to get one on the board first!

16:30 Baniyas - Al Ahli over 2.5 @ 1.40 (3+ goals @ 1.70, over 3.5 @ 2.05) parlay (1-1)

United Arab Emirates Cup—honestly, I don't know much about these squads, other than the visitors have Grafit, Hugo Vian, and Jimenez in the lineup. This pick is purely based on the numbers. Both sides are averaging around three goals per match across the league and cup, and the league itself is pretty notorious for being high-scoring—mostly because teams here tend to just buy veteran strikers who might be past their prime, but hey, it works.

Looking at their recent history, 6 of the last 8 matchups have cleared the 3-goal mark, often turning into total goal fests (though we did see two 0-0 draws, so hopefully we don't run into 😁 again)

Stoke-Manchester United draw at 1.90 on bet365 (1-1)
United have finally found their rhythm, and you can see it clearly not just in the scores, but in how they actually play. They’ve pulled off 7 wins and 2 draws in their last 9 matches, boasting a goal difference of 17:5. While they look much more convincing at home, they tend to be a bit shaky on the road, almost always conceding at least one goal when playing away. Honestly, United have been a goldmine for over/under betting this season, and the reason is pretty obvious: the formation Louis van Gaal is running. With Rooney, Young, Valencia, Michael Carrick, and Mata linking up behind Falcao and Robin van Persie—plus Young and Valencia acting more like wingers than anything else—they’re basically playing with six or seven attackers and only three actual defenders. This hyper-aggressive style has paid off so far, and I think if they hadn't dealt with so many injuries earlier in the season (which are still an issue), United would be breathing down the necks of City and Chelsea right now.

But let's get back to the bet at hand: United have conceded in 11 of their last 15 games, and specifically on the road, they've failed to keep a clean sheet in 6 out of their last 7 away matches (only stopping the scoring against Tottenham in the last round). Meanwhile, Stoke have managed to find the back of the net in 14 of their last 17 outings, and I fully expect United's defense to buckle once again today. Both sides have seen 5/7 of their recent results hit, and 7 out of 10 of their head-to-head matchups have ended with both teams scoring. Given the odds being offered here, I really think this is a play we need to take.

Sunday 4:00 PM FA Cup
Stoke City-Wrexham FC 1 @ 1.15 (3-1)

Stoke is looking pretty "hot" right now—they grabbed a win away at Everton and just pulled a draw against Man City! They aren't sweating relegation at all, and since they're so far clear in the standings, I honestly think the FA is going to take this FA Cup matchup 100% seriously. If that's the case, anyone coming from the middle of the Conference pack doesn't stand a chance, right?

Monday 9:00 PM
Kilmarnock-Celtic Glasgow 2 @ 1.45 (0-2)

Unlike those guys today, Celtic actually got some rest. The weather was absolutely brutal and Kilmarnock really looked gassed out there. Honestly, they need to stop playing around—one more slip-up and they’ll be sliding right below Aberdeen! Though, if you look at the last four matchups, Kilmarnock has actually been covering the spread against them.

A little more logic wouldn't hurt, folks!

Solid argument—total blowout for the underdogs

I was watching the first half of West Brom vs. Gateshead, and man, West Brom was basically just strolling around like they were on a union strike or something! Meanwhile, the other guys were leaving everything on the pitch. It ended up 2-0
Now I'm seeing it actually finished 7-0 by the end
For the second half, I switched over to Tranmere vs. Swansea, and it was more of the same absolute destruction. A 6-2 scoreline? That gap is just massive—honestly, you can tell who's who within ten seconds without even looking at the jerseys

Cristiano Ronaldo scores

The odds aren't out yet for this specific bet, but I'm definitely putting money down on CR7 finding the back of the net. Real Madrid is facing Valencia at Mestalla tomorrow—a massive derby where a win is huge if they want to pull four points ahead of Barcelona (who play Sociedad tonight). Last time Cristiano scored in an official match was against Almeria. You have to realize—he went scoreless during the Club World Cup, and there's no way a player of his caliber lets a three-game scoring drought happen. It just isn't happening.

Saturday 2000

Celta Vigo/vs CF Valencia at @ 1.80 (1-1)

Is it finally time for Celta to actually find the back of the net? I mean, seriously—it’s been over 700 minutes since they pulled off that win against Barca back on November 1st, 2014, and they still haven't scored! I caught them playing against Sevilla this Saturday, and honestly, they didn't look outclassed at all—even if Sevilla did hand over control after taking the lead. But hey, if you don't score, you don't score, right? On the flip side, Valencia looked absolutely dominant against Real Madrid; they're chasing a Champions League spot, so it's pretty unlikely they'll lose, let alone fail to score a single goal.

22:00 Valur/IR Reykjavik over 2.5 goals at @ 1.85 (9-1)

The Americans—well, I mean, these guys from Iceland—are pretty much famous for playing this wild, all-out attacking style while basically leaving their defense out to dry. They're facing off in the winter Reykjavik Cup, and honestly, I'm picking this one purely because of how they play and what the stats are telling us lately.

Looking back at their history, they've played 7 times, and in 6 of those matches, we saw over 2.5 goals.

sub 16:00 Cardiff - Fulham 1 2,25 (1-0) (SS)

I won't get bogged down in deep tactical analysis here—both sides are pretty much mid-table mediocrity right now and haven't exactly been playing inspired football lately. Cardiff is sitting at 12th and Fulham is in 17th, with only a three-point gap between them. But honestly, the real deciding factor for this pick isn't the X's and O's; it’s the news that Cardiff will be stepping out in those blue kits with the blue bird crest again. If that doesn't provide enough motivation to dig deep and grab a result, I don't know what will. I’m expecting a packed house and an atmosphere in the capital that we haven't seen in quite some time. If you aren't familiar with the history behind this, do yourself a favor and look it up... 😉

The short version: A massive win for the fans over the owner

Celta Vigo-Valencia 2 2,90 bet365 (1-1)

After sitting pretty at 5-5-1 through 11 rounds—having pulled off that massive win against Barca and a draw against Atletico—Celta has absolutely fallen off a cliff. It’s been a total meltdown. They haven't managed to find the back of the net once in their last six league matches, and if you factor in the cup, they've suffered eight losses in their last nine outings. To make matters worse, they're missing Larrivey (their starting striker), Cabral (starting center-back), and Planas (starting full-back) today, so that defense is going to be looking incredibly shaky.

On the flip side, Valencia is playing some of the best football they've seen all season—honestly, maybe even the best in years. They're currently sitting in 4th place right behind the big three (Barca, Atletico, and Real), and just this past weekend, they went to Mestalla, held Real to a 0-1 deficit at halftime, and fought back to win 2-1. Looking at the recent stats, they've got three wins and a draw in their last four league games, and including the cup, they're 5-2-0 over their last seven. They've only lost three times the entire season!

You have two teams heading into this with completely opposite momentum, and don't even get me started on the locker room vibes. Yet, somehow, Celta still comes out as the favorite today. Why? Honestly, I have absolutely no clue why anyone would think that, but I'll happily take the 2 on Valencia instead.
Historically, Valencia has taken three wins in their last four meetings, so I'm betting that trend isn't about to break now.

Barcelona (-2+)-Atletico Madrid m.t. @ 1.90 (3-1)

Man, what really jumps out at me is looking at the last six head-to-head matchups—ever since the power balance shifted, we’ve seen a total of just seven goals scored, or basically a 4-3 split in favor of Atletico. Honestly, Diego Simeone has such a clear game plan, and Atletico always brings this insane level of motivation and discipline when they face Barca (or even Real) : when a squad with that kind of quality plays tight, stays super disciplined, and is hungry for the win, goals just start trickling in one by one. They don't have any major injuries to worry about either, and let's be real—Barca is looking a little rattled after that stumble in the last round and all those rumors about Messi and Enrique having a falling out, right?

Hey!

Saturday 10:00 PM

Spanish/Celta/dng-CeltaVigo is giving us @ 1.40 (1-0)

The game

I've been watching Celta—man, they are just waiting for that goal to land! They’ve been playing against absolute powerhouses like Sevilla and Valencia, and honestly? They're taking charge. Total dominance, tons of chances... they've stepped up their game big time. I even saw them grab a 2-0 win away at Bilbao tonight!

Stats

After going seven whole games without finding the back of the net, they finally broke that drought in the eighth! With the way they're playing right now, it's gonna be super tough for them to fall back into another scoreless slump.

Plus, there's another streak looking ripe for a break—in their last two away trips, Celta couldn't find anything against Espanyol. Let's see if they can change that!
