Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone might know what the current price for an iPhone 4s is here in the States if you're just buying it unlocked, without any annoying service contracts or extra nonsense attached? Also, does anyone happen to know what they're going for abroad? I'm not interested in used ones, just looking for brand new prices. 😁

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you might be talking about the iPhone 5 rather than the 4s. I guess the price of the 4s probably dropped once the 5 hit the shelves. Or maybe not.😕

So, I just double-checked everything. Jeffrey Bennett77 was actually right there, that was my mistake. Honestly, their whole pricing philosophy doesn't make much sense to me, since almost all three models—the 5, 4s, and 4—are priced basically the same.
But, you could say you're getting a full bundle with the 4 $66.
And yeah, I’m not quite sure why you’re hesitant about buying from a reliable seller on Craigslist. For what you'd pay for a 4 $66, you could probably snag a brand new 5... so, I guess...🙂

Yeah, I know. A friend of mine actually picked up an iPhone 5 on eBay for about $450... but my mom is really skeptical about me buying stuff online 😁 so I might also check out what the prices look like over in Canada—I have an aunt living there

I don't know, I think I’d always stay away from ordering phones from abroad or dealing with international shipping—I'm definitely not an expert, so I might get ripped off 😁 and honestly, it just feels easier to buy something locally here.
As for shopping online, I guess you should stick to a site that's totally verified and has solid reviews; don't just go for whatever's the cheapest option. Make sure you double-check exactly what you're getting before you hit pay. Also, there's a way to handle those kinds of transactions now, so it might be worth looking into. 🙂
