Can you get nose surgery while wearing braces? I read somewhere that you shouldn't because your face shape won't actually settle until after the braces come off.. :O

Don't get me wrong—I'm not saying he's bad or that he doesn't know his stuff. It’s just... his bedside manner? Not exactly his strongest suit. What I mean by that is, first off, the consultations feel pretty rushed. From what I've heard, you basically state what you want, and then he gives you this super brief commentary—he might show you photos of his previous work if you actually ask for them. As for the price, we're looking at around $2,500 cash for a rhinoplasty, and there's zero room for haggling. For international patients, they'll bump that up to somewhere between $3,500 and $4k.
Glumcic is one of those rare clinics that stays incredibly busy. Yeah, he’s got the brand recognition and hands are constantly full because he handles everything from under-eye corrections and facelifts all the way down to Vaser liposuction. There’s nothing inherently wrong with being successful—it doesn't mean his results aren't top-tier. But honestly, with that kind of volume, it feels like you just become another cog in the machine. Because you can't really dig into the details during a consultation, and trying to actually get a moment with him is nearly impossible—you have to book a formal consult, which, obviously, comes with a fee. Also, I can't help but notice that he sometimes does things his own way, kind of brushing off patient requests to just do whatever he thinks looks best. Again, I'm not saying that's "bad" per se, but when you're dealing with aesthetic surgery where every single millimeter counts, you'd think they'd respect even the smallest wish. To me, it feels like...
Basically, Glumcic definitely has business, but I feel like that high volume actually works against him. Based on what I've read from other girls on the forums, and even from people close to me, the whole operation feels a bit disorganized. Like, one girl was complaining that her surgery date got pushed back because the doctor had an "emergency." She later found out it wasn't some medical conference or a trip for another surgery, but apparently just a private vacation. I mean, that’s just not professional, and nobody wants to deal with that kind of unnecessary stress. Plus, if you call the number you get after your procedure, chances are nobody’s going to pick up—especially if you actually need something urgent.
Just like any surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty, Glumcic has his share of fails, big or small. Every surgeon does. But the issue is that when things go sideways, he gets pretty cold and dismissive. You can't even talk to him directly because you're stuck dealing with his nurses via email, and then you end up waiting forever for a follow-up appointment that you usually have to pay extra for. For instance, there were cases where a girl ended up with a hole in her nose because he didn't properly remove a hump, leaving a visible gap, and his response was basically just to say "it happens" and offer to put some filler inside to hide it. So, yeah, you could say the relationship turns pretty sour when things don't go perfectly—and let's face it, things inevitably go wrong sometimes.

First off, the consultation was honestly brilliant. I was in there for at least half an hour, and he explained everything so clearly. We settled on the shape of my nose, he showed me tons of photos, and we just chatted and joked around a bit—I don't even know what else we did in there. Paying for a consultation and exam is pretty standard everywhere, right? Whether you're seeing a private eye doctor or a gynecologist, you expect to pay for their time. I don't see anything controversial about that at all.
And saying he doesn't respect what clients want? 🙂 That's just total nonsense. He’s a complete professional and does exactly what you ask him to do. (I actually talked to about ten other women there who had nose surgery, and they were all super happy.)
Of course, there will always be some unhappy people, maybe because folks ask for too much or have unrealistic expectations.
As for why he seems busier than everyone else, it's simply because he's genuinely good at what he does. 🙂 If he wasn't, people wouldn't keep coming back. That's for sure. I'd warmly recommend him to anyone; if I had known things would turn out this well, I would've had my nose done a long time ago.

Ashley Bishop43 said:No worries at all. I'm just sharing what happened to me. As for that part, I honestly don't know 😢 I guess the price should probably be different based on how I see it

First off, the consultation was nothing short of brilliant. I was in there for at least half an hour; he walked me through everything, we settled on the nose shape, he showed me a ton of reference photos, and we just chatted and joked around—I actually had some work to get to, so it didn't drag on. And look, paying for a consultation and an exam is standard practice everywhere, whether you're seeing a private ophthalmologist or a gynecologist. I don't see anything controversial about that whatsoever.
And as for the claim that he doesn't respect client wishes🙂—that is just pure nonsense. The man is a total professional and executes exactly what you ask him to do (I actually sat and talked with ten different women who had their noses done there, and every single one of them was happy)
Of course, there will always be some dissatisfied people out there, mostly because some folks simply demand too much or have unrealistic expectations.
The fact that his schedule is fuller than everyone else's is simply because he’s actually good at what he does.🙂 If he weren't, people wouldn't be lining up to see him. That much is certain. I recommend him to everyone; if I had known things would turn out like this years ago, I would have gone under the knife much sooner.

Chloe Collins72 said:Hey there! Thanks so much for all the info everyone’s been sharing over the last few days. I was wondering, which day do they usually take out the packing, and when does everything else get removed? Also, can you head straight back to work right after that? On the day you finally go home, how are you actually feeling? I mean, how much downtime do you really need to feel like yourself again?
