I have a quick question... has anyone been in contact with the Actress's office lately? I've been trying to reach them for days—both by phone and email—but there hasn't been a single sign of life... Is that person still practicing? 😁

They're still working, but they're actually on vacation until August 27th—I know because I have a procedure scheduled then, and they wouldn't see me any sooner due to the time off.

Thanks, Loly! 🙂 I finally managed to get hold of them, and I'm already all set for my procedure on October 1st. 🙂

Has anyone by any chance gone through a nose job at Sinteza Medical Clinic using this specific method
I was wondering—and this is just me being cautious, I guess—but with most surgeons out there, is it actually possible to pay things off in 24 monthly installments (basically over two years)?

Look,
I recently moved to Cleveland, so I need to get surgery for a deviated septum at the local hospital. I need some clarity on the process: do I start by seeing my primary care physician to get a referral for an ENT, and then handle everything from there? Also, which specialist should I be looking for? Does Medicare cover this procedure? I assume so, but my nose was broken when I was three years old and it's completely crooked—the bone on one side is totally thin. I'm wondering if it can be cosmetically improved while still being covered under a single Medicare claim. If anyone here has recently had this done at the Cleveland hospital, please reach out.
Thanks🙂

restlesspanther42 said:Just figured I’d chime in. It’s been two weeks since my surgery, and I have my follow-up tomorrow. I went in for a rhinoseptoplasty, but because the internal bone structure was such a mess—basically crushed and healed all wrong—the surgeon decided not to touch the tip. He had to break the bone in two places and, besides the packing, he had to trim back some hypertrophic mucosa. The bruising was a total disaster on day two, and I’ve still got some lingering discoloration on my cheekbones and just above my eyelids. My nose, the surrounding area, and my eyelids are all pretty swollen. They gave me dexamethasone in the hospital because the swelling was getting out of hand (which, honestly, is just how it goes 😁 )
The doctor explained right away that he couldn't do what we initially discussed (the cartilage graft on the tip), and he left a tiny bit of the hump because he didn't want to over-resect and risk the whole thing collapsing. Tampons came out on day 7; the cast came off on day 10. Even with the swelling, my nose already looks visibly smaller, narrower, and flatter.
I can go back for a revision in 8-10 months if I'm still not happy once the swelling finally subsides.

To be clear, I specifically asked to keep "my" nose—nothing tiny or artificial. I'm actually quite happy with that little bit of the hump remaining, mostly because people don't realize I've had work done; they just notice something looks different, haha.
I'm satisfied with the profile so far... so now I just wait to see the final result in 3-6 months.

I could breathe immediately after the packing was removed, and breathing is definitely better than it was before.

Update. It’s been a little over three months since the surgery. Both the doctor and I are happy with the recovery. The bones are healing nicely, the mucosa looks great, and breathing is perfect.
Given how much work went into resetting those bones, this wasn't the doctor's first time working on a nasal tip. Since everything is healing so well, we've scheduled the revision for February 2014. If anyone happens to be in the downtown area in early February, let me know. 😍🎉🎉

Yeah, I’m right there with you on that. Honestly, it drives me absolutely insane—their website has been stuck on "under construction" for months now. It's ridiculous. 😠

Greetings to everyone. I have a quick question...
Does anyone here have any firsthand experience or insights regarding septoplasty and rhinoplasty performed at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Washington, D.C., specifically under the care of Dr. Brad Pitt?
After dealing with a nasty ear infection and a perforated eardrum, surgery has been recommended to me, so I’m looking for any information that might help. 😁

Has anyone actually dealt with Zambelli before? I’ve scrolled through just about every thread here, but if there's someone out there with firsthand experience who hasn't posted much about it yet, I could really use some insight. 👍

Hi everyone! Here’s my current situation: I had rhinoplasty almost two years ago. At first, the surgery seemed like a success and I was actually pretty happy with the results. However, as the swelling finally subsided, I started noticing all these little irregularities—bumps, unevenness, and the base of my nose shifted significantly to one side. The bottom half just looks completely out of proportion with the top, making it look way too wide. Ultimately, I realized the surgeon didn't actually achieve the look I was going for, so I decided I needed a revision. That's where the nightmare began. I've sat through about ten different consultations with ten different surgeons, and they all tell me the exact same thing: they don't want to touch my case and say they can't fix it. It seems like no surgeon wants to deal with the headache of revision surgeries. So, what am I supposed to do? Who am I even supposed to see? If anyone here has been through something similar, I would really appreciate some advice....

Are you serious? 😕 I'm actually heading in for a revision myself soon. I haven't done the consultations yet, but is it true that they really won't do them? Who did you see? Is your case just that complicated, or is it something else?

Yeah, honestly... they turn those cases down because the risks are just too high—things like bleeding, polyps, and all that. Plus, when you're dealing with those kinds of surgeries, patients expect absolute perfection in every single way, whether it's how it looks or how it actually functions. I actually went to see some lesser-known ENT specialists over in Miami—I could give you their names, but I don't think it’ll really help you. For me, my nose situation isn't even bad; if anything, it's the exact opposite. Everyone tells me there's absolutely no reason to do anything at all....

Hey everyone... So, I’ve been thinking about getting a rhinoplasty for quite a while now. I feel like I could finally have a nice, straight nose without that bump, and maybe stop worrying about people catching my profile... Anyway, it feels like my nose gets bigger every single day :/ My grandfather had a massive nose—like an elephant's—and my dad has one that's just big and wide too. Unfortunately, I inherited my nose from their side of the family :/
I’m originally from the Midwest. My mom mentioned Glumičić once, but I heard his fees are way too high, so I passed on that... For the procedure, I’m leaning towards local anesthesia with sedation because apparently, it's better than general (people say general leaves too many side effects behind). I was browsing online and saw that Tončić performs nose jobs using that method... I was really interested in them, and Washington, D.C. isn't far—just a 2-3 hour drive. But then I saw a clip of Dr. Glušac. He does closed rhinoplasty under local anesthesia, and honestly, the results look stunning from what I've seen... I wouldn't mind driving to Miami, or even flying to the USA if it meant finally having a nose I'm happy with 😁
Anyway, what do you all think? Where should I go? And if anyone knows the price difference between Tončić and Glušac, I would be so grateful... Bokić 😁

Honestly, it feels like my nose gets bigger every single day. :/ It runs in the family, too—my grandfather had a massive, elephantine nose, and my dad has that same wide, heavy look. People say general anesthesia carries too many risks and side effects, so I've been doing some digging online. I noticed that Tončić performs nose jobs using that specific type of anesthesia, and I was actually getting pretty excited about booking them. Since I live only a couple of hours away from Washington, D.C., it felt convenient—until I stumbled upon a video of Dr. Glušac. He specializes in closed rhinoplasty using local anesthesia, and honestly, the results he produces are absolutely stunning. At this point, I don't care if I have to drive down to Miami or fly all the way to the USA; I just want to finally have a nose I love. 😁
What do you all think about this whole mess? Honestly, where am I even supposed to turn? Also, if anyone happens to know the price difference between Tončić and Glušac, I’d be incredibly grateful... Bokić 😁

Honestly, if I were you, I wouldn’t sweat the technicalities too much—whether they go with an open or closed technique, or which specific type of anesthesia they use. They aren't going to throw you under general anesthesia unless there's absolutely no other way. To be blunt, I had a nightmare experience with Glušac. He put me under general anesthesia instead of using local reinforcement, and it was a disaster. I actually have to go back for a revision surgery in a few months because of it, so I definitely wouldn't recommend him. If you really want the full story, I can shoot you a private message with all the details, but honestly, it’s probably not worth it. The guy is just a disappointment across the board.

If you're really curious, I can message you privately with more details, but honestly, it's probably not worth it... he's just a disappointment in almost every way.

😳 I actually thought he was doing a great job and that nobody ever complained about him :/

Does anyone happen to know what the current rates are for nose jobs over at Glumicic's office? Maybe someone could send me a private message if you have that info. Thanks so much!🙂

You really need to scroll through this forum a bit more; there are plenty of negative experiences being shared here, even if there are some positive ones too.
