He knows how to sting, but only when he feels like it.
Congrats, man—you finally got it, on a day I’d honestly rather just forget ever happened.
Anyway, what's the deal today with one of these clubs? 😁 You probably know which one I mean 😂 Honestly, none of these teams are doing much better than the others lately; it’ll probably be just as much of a scoring disaster as that Lakers vs. Celtics game last night 🤣

Are you thinking about the Indiana—Chicago area? 🤣

Tyson Chandler after practice: "We want to win our next two games and go into the playoffs with some momentum."

It looks highly probable that Paul is out for the Clippers tonight due to a groin injury. Personally, I think 1.65 is a solid line for a squad that has managed only a single loss at Madison Square Garden since their new coach took over. Hopefully 🤔

graniteotter6 said:So they don't want home-court advantage in the playoffs? I need this for my analysis.😁

Of course they want it. You can see Durant was out there grinding for 49 minutes.🥳

Who else are you thinking of? The Clippers? If Paul is sidelined, he's sidelined.🤷

No, not on the OKC-Denver route. 😁 This could potentially turn into a total nightmare.
Arthur Hill2 said:Paul is looking like a very strong bet for the Clippers tonight. Honestly, at 1.65, those odds seem pretty generous for a squad that has only managed a single loss at Madison Square Garden since their new coach took over. I guess we'll see. 🤔

So, they’re actually giving up their home-court advantage right in the first round? That’s a bold move, I suppose. I’ll need that data for my analysis as soon as possible.😍
I suppose Griffin is about to take over now. 🤷 Last night, even with Chris Paul dropping 36 points, he only managed to dish out four assists. I guess that’s just how the math worked out, maybe.

Edith Piaf: You can't even manage to delete a post on this forum fast enough before someone already starts quoting it. 😁
If you ask me, it’s not even a matter of whether they can get him; it seems like they don't actually want him. They had a golden opportunity last night to make a move, yet they just sat on their hands. Even with those two combined for 70 points, apparently, that still wasn't enough to satisfy them. I guess we're just watching them pass on easy wins.

I get where you're coming from—but I'm dropping subtle hints here that both Indiana and Chicago are going under. 😬

graniteotter6 said:So they're essentially throwing away their home court advantage in the first round? Interesting. I need that data for my analysis ASAP.😍
Now Griffin is an over 🤷 Last night, CP3 only set him up for 36 points four times.

Sure, they might surrender that home court edge. Without Paul, they're a disaster—completely aimless. 👍

Betting the Bobcats under 86.5
And Orlando -20.5

Can't pass this up. After those last few disasters from the Bobcats, it’s a lock.🤷

They've only cleared this line twice in their last 10 games.
Hit 88 against the Kings and 90 against the Cavs... 🤷

You gotta grab 6.5 on Bucks while they're still sitting at 1.85

New York - LA Clippers 1 1.65

The Knicks have been looking pretty sharp lately, though I don't know, maybe Paul just looks a bit out of it tonight? 🙂
Milwaukee - Philadelphia over 196.5
Neither of these teams really has much riding on this one, so it might just turn into a total shootout. I’m leaning toward the over.

Arthur Hill2 said:It's possible for Allen to be out for the playoffs:

I honestly don't get this part about him being out—which game are we even talking about here? And seriously, if you take away the top two or three players from any roster in the league, every single team becomes a total bust, right? 🙂 You really shouldn't read too much into these last few games, though I mean, Boston basically walked all over Miami twice, so that's something.

I’m talking about the whole season in general, okay? If you’ve actually been watching Boston, they’ve dealt with more star injuries than anyone else, and we all know how much Pierce, Garnett, Allen, and Rondo mean to that squad. But these so-called "role players" have stepped up and shown they can go toe-to-toe with anybody, which just isn't the case for Miami. 🤷 Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Boston goes on a massive run this year because, unlike most teams out there, they actually have both the talent and that championship DNA from winning NBA rings before. ☕ And as far as who's playing hot right now? Only San Antonio is playing better basketball. In my book, the Spurs are the heavy favorites to take it all. OKC looks good, sure, but they're still a little green, especially Westbrook—he’s an incredible player, no doubt, but he just lacks consistency, which he’s definitely proven over the last five or six games.

Might be worth taking the Bulls tonight. They’re finally looking complete, and since they’re desperate to outpace the Spurs in the standings, I’m guessing everyone gets playing time. Or do they? 😁

I would say it shouldn't surprise anyone if Boston goes a very long way this year. Unlike most teams, they possess both the talent and the experience of winning an NBA championship☕. As for current form, only the Spurs are playing better basketball. In my view, San Antonio are the top title contenders. OKC is good, but they still have growing pains—especially Westbrook, who is a great player but lacks consistency, something he has demonstrated over the last five or six games

The Bulls had 14 games with a full roster; Rose missed 25+ games 🙂
Frank Morgan30 said:We should take the Chicago game tonight as well. They are finally at full strength. I believe everyone will play because they want to improve their record relative to the Spurs, or at least that is my impression😁

The Durant situation is what keeps me up at night. From what I can gather, he’s sitting right on the edge of clinching the scoring title—he probably only needs about 21 points to lock it down. My fear? Once he hits that magic number, management decides he’s done and slides him straight to the bench.

Twenty-one points should do it—provided Kobe doesn't decide to suit up for tomorrow's game.

Knowing the Lakers leader's competitive streak, I wouldn't bet on it—even if the game itself is a total blowout...

I don't know, Kobe shouldn't even be out there... Whatever, I'll put my money down and see what happens. It's actually perfect for Denver since Durant is playing like he's on autopilot anyway. Let him log 35 minutes, knock down two or three triples, hit 7 or 8 free throws, and toss in 8 or 9 layups—boom, there's your 30. 🙂

I have no clue what’s going on over there, but the Oklahoma odds just jumped from 1.4 to 1.9. Clearly they're gonna rest most of the starters tonight, but I can't find any other good lines yet since it's still so early.

Look, Allen sat out 20, Rondo missed 13, Garnett was out for 6, and Pierce missed 5, but you gotta get the big picture here—Boston stays absolutely lethal even if they’re missing one or two guys, which is a total world of difference compared to how Miami operates. Chicago is way more dangerous because, just like you pointed out, Rose missed upwards of 20 games and you barely even felt his absence since they were still rocking an 80% win rate without him, not to mention how Boston basically eats Miami alive on a regular basis even when they have their full roster, I mean they beat them three times in the last month alone, let alone winning 18 out of 21 matchups over the last few seasons (ignoring those playoffs last year 🤷). Honestly, I’d kill to see a Miami vs. Boston Eastern Conference Finals just so we can finally settle once and for all who the real kings of the court are 😉

...honestly, I’m calling it now: Durant is taking at least 25 shots tonight. Last night, he basically rode free throws to get that over, so I’m feeling pretty good about this game going over. Might even throw some money on Melo's over too. That 26.5 line looks tasty. If they were playing some bottom-feeder team, I'd pass, but against a squad like the Clippers? Nah, it's worth it. When egos and proving people wrong are on the line, things get interesting....

OKC needs to play for the win here—cut those 1.9 guys from the equation. If they pull it off, they’ll face Denver in the first round, provided Dallas manages to take down the Hawks... If they slip up, they’re heading straight into Dallas, which I don't think is exactly how they planned this to go.
