Great intel... thanks.

And while I'm at it: damn Atlanta, seriously. A thousand times, man. I swear I have never once hit a bet on them, yet here I am, still betting on their games. Willie Green🙂🙂🙂

Sorry for getting this pick out so late, but I really hope someone finds it useful.
I should mention that while a massive blowout could potentially ruin this bet, I’m still expecting the game to land somewhere near the expected handicap.

The thing is, after being sidelined for 26 games this season, Bargnani is definitely struggling with his efficiency—though that isn't exactly surprising. It was a long layoff, and his performance against Denver last game suggested he might be finding his rhythm again. What really draws me to this pick is the matchup. Bargnani will likely be matched up against Bosh, who has the physical build to match him, but Bosh can be a bit soft defensively. Besides avoiding contact, he struggles significantly when defending the perimeter against players who can step out and knock down shots, which is exactly what Bargnani does. That Italian player averaged 29.3 points across three games against Miami last season. If Bargnani gets his usual 15 touches and shoots about fifty percent, plus a couple of free throws, it should be more than enough to hit the over. His coach expects him to step up >> Dwight Casey said. "He had the same pep that he had prior to the injury. I wanted to go to him as much as possible and make sure we took advantage of it." I believe he'll keep up that momentum from the last game.

I really don't want to sound like a broken record here. Their strength has surged lately and they've reclaimed that leadership role; honestly, you barely even notice that Amare and Lina are out. The Knicks are playing lights out right now. The margin is thin, maybe just a few points, but if he grabs 20 shots and hits his pick, I'll be sitting pretty. I'd take the over on those kinds of margins for a player like Anthony every single time under these circumstances.

Man, I totally missed posting my parlay yesterday, and after almost three weeks of nothing, things are finally starting to hit🤷, damn. If Dwill hadn't completely choked, we would've walked away with a massive payday, but honestly, even with that mess, I’m still feeling pretty good about it😉. Let's get those wins on the board again today☕. Huge props to Christian Ruiz, you absolute legend😍

He’s a nightmare to guard—despite his lanky build, he’s incredibly explosive. Even elite centers like Al Jefferson struggle to stay in front of him, and I highly doubt Big Ali, who isn't exactly a defensive powerhouse, is going to pull anything special out of the bag on the defensive end.

I think the Celtics are going to walk all over the Timberwolves. Minnesota is missing three or four key pieces—basically their top two players—so they're shorthanded. Sure, they have Luke Ridnour, but who’s actually going to provide any spacing from deep? Wes Johnson has been a disaster, Darko Miličić is gone, and Peja Peković isn't in the picture either. Plus, Kevin Garnett can make life miserable for Kevin Love, and it looks like John Beasley is out tonight too. It could get ugly for Minnesota. I’m putting my money on the old Boston faithful. 😁

Of course—everything goes smoothly whenever I’m not playing.

I’m not sure what the cap was for DeMarcus Cousins, but it certainly wasn't as high as 27 points—which is exactly what he dropped last night.

The Boston Celtics cruised through that one—a routine 21-point blowout. It looks like Kevin Garnett had Al Jefferson completely figured out, too—probably just babysitting him out there.

Nice work by me. 🙄

I guess Pierce did his job okayish, even though his shot felt a little off—but I mean, someone had to pick up the slack since Ray wasn't there to shoot.
The Clippers 🙂 almost couldn't handle those broken-down TrailBlazers without their main guy, especially with that handicap; they practically blew it, honestly.

Here's my pick for today

Carmelo Anthony
over 22.5 @ 1.85

Grab this while the momentum is still hot 😁

With Amar'e Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin dealing with injuries, Carmelo Anthony is basically carrying the New York Knicks on his back right now. He’s been absolutely locked in lately, dropping 25, 28, and then a massive 36 points over his last three outings, all while averaging about 19.6 field goal attempts. Honestly, looking at how he's playing, the line should really be sitting closer to 25.5 or 26.5 points, which makes this current number a huge value play. 🤷

Chandler, Baron Davis, and Carmelo Anthony are doubtful for Saturday
Tyson Chandler finally ditched the wrist brace, but now he’s dealing with a groin issue, making him a real question mark for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers.
Carmelo Anthony played through a nasty groin injury just to drop 36 points in the Knicks' loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. He went 11-of-24 from the field (struggling a bit from deep at 1-of-4, but was lethal from the stripe at 13-of-14) while snagging nine boards, dishing two assists, and racking up five steals and two blocks in 40 heavy minutes.

Grab this while the trend is still hot 😁

Melo is basically carrying the New York Knicks right now since they're dealing with injuries to both Amar'e Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin—I mean, look at his last three games: 25, 28, and 36 points, all while taking about 19.6 shots on average. Honestly, if you look at where he's at, a realistic line should be closer to 25.5 or 26.5, so I think there's still some massive value in staying on the over here. 🤷

I took it, and hey, maybe Baron Davis won't even play, which just means more shots for "Caramelo" 😁
pairing it with this: Sacramento Kings vs New Jersey Nets under 209.5... I mean, if you actually dig into the stats regarding scoring efficiency and defensive matchups, it really feels like it should fall under that number. But the big reason I’m pulling the trigger on this is the fact that both teams are on a back-to-back, so fatigue is definitely going to be a factor. Especially for the Brooklyn Nets—they've got a mountain of injuries and certain guys are just grinding through 40 minutes a night. As for Sacramento, they're missing Alvin Salmons and maybe Chris Evans too... They kind of overshot the mark yesterday during the Utah Jazz vs Sacramento Kings game (it was set at 212.5 and they ended up at 207), so I'm thinking the line is a little too high again today...

main ticket

Kobe Bryant under 28.5 @ 1.85
-look, the LAL play way better at home than they do on the road, right? he doesn't force shots nearly as much when they're playing in their own building, and you just gotta look at the recent home stats—he hasn't even cracked that over in his last 6 home games! plus, that last head-to-head where he dropped 33 was basically just because of overtime anyway, so don't let that fool you
Magic Johnson under 20.5 @ 1.85
-that margin is just too huge for him on the road, especially since hardly anyone can actually get anything going against Andre Iguodala and the rest of that crew🤷, and honestly, he'll probably be gassed because they were out there playing last night
Al Maggette over 15.5 @ 1.85
-man, he is feeling it lately! he's been hovering around 20 points in his last few outings, and with Eric Augustin sidelined, he's definitely gonna see some extra looks at the rim
Gay over 18.5 @ 1.85
-I personally ride with his over all the time and the guy rarely lets me down. as long as he's healthy, he's super consistent; if he gets hot early, he'll easily chuck 20 shots, which is more than enough to smash this over
Tony Parker over 19.5 @ 1.85
-he wasn't really feeling it last game, but I don't think he was forcing anything, which is why he only took 11 shots. Manu and Tim Duncan handled the heavy lifting there, but listen, he always plays so much better against top-tier teams and he's not about to slack off now
DeMarcus Cousins over 19.5 @ 1.85
-you only need to check his last 6 games to see the truth—he hasn't dipped below 22 points once, and that was against heavy hitters, not even teams like the Brooklyn Nets. unless, of course, he decides to take a nap while I'm playing him, as usual😍
Al Jefferson under 19.5 @ 1.85
-like I said the other day, this guy is just not built for road games. he puts up much weaker numbers away from home and almost never hits the over, unless it's one of those freak occurrences like a four-overtime game, but that's the exception, not the rule

6/7 system Favorite

Andrew Bynum over 18.5 @ 1.85
-he's in great form and facing a weak opponent should be an easy win. he's taking about 15 shots at a solid 60%+ clip, so he should cruise right past this over
Jennings over 17.5 @ 1.85
-with Delfin out, everything is gonna fall on him and Monta Ellis, but right now, I trust him way more than that random kid. we'll just have to see if my gut feeling is right
Sacramento Kings vs New Jersey Nets Under 209.5 @ 1.85
-that total feels way too high for my liking. I'm expecting maybe 200 points max, nothing crazy
Henderson over 14.5 @ 1.85
-same logic applies here as it did for his teammate. plus, I think being the primary scorer gives him a lot more freedom on the court. his last three games were 21, 15, and 21 points, so he's cooking
Danny Granger under 18.5 @ 1.85
-in his last 10 road games, he only cleared the over twice, and even then it was barely 19 or 20 points. facing what might be the best defense in the league? I seriously doubt he's gonna find it that easy to score

low stakes bet

good luck to everyone following along, and to everyone else too!😉

So, this is where we ended up—posting a ticket with exactly one miss.

Love-LBJ 1 👎
Denver Nuggets -8.5 2
Andrija over
Jennings over
Carmelo Anthony over
Boston Celtics 2
Utah Jazz 108.5 under

It was a pretty small wager, but still a shame.

Today, I’m focusing on player props, since I'm really not feeling the main slate at all.

So, we're looking at no Jeremy Lin and no Amara Stoudemire for the matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. On top of that, Carmelo Anthony is dealing with a groin issue, Tyson Chandler has a groin injury, and Baron Davis is banged up with a leg problem, so they'll all be limited. Honestly, Chandler looked totally off during the game against the Atlanta Hawks. The New York Knicks really can't afford to have him out of commission. Melo was actually killing it for about three quarters, but once he tweaked that groin, he just lost his bounce and stopped being so aggressive with the ball late in the game. He basically said, "it takes away my power, especially under the basket, my lift... There really wasn’t too much I could do"
New York Knicks - Cleveland Cavaliers -10.5 2 1.85

Yeah, a solid pick. The Cleveland Cavaliers really got hammered yesterday. They need to show up tonight with a lot more energy if they want to execute that smooth, fluid style of play we expect from them.

Lawrence Castillo76 said:So, you guys have the Cleveland Cavaliers at +10.5? Look, they might actually want to play some real basketball tonight, but let's be real—do they actually have what it takes to pull off an upset? It’s looking pretty grim. $267 How much should you pay for a single? Honestly, it’s a rabbit hole. Everyone's got an opinion, but let's be real—it usually comes down to how much you value your own sanity versus the quality you're actually getting. Is it worth dropping a fortune on one specific thing just because it's "the one"? Maybe. Or maybe you're just overpaying for hype. What do you think?

It’s rough out there, man. Honestly, things are just getting heavy. $33 Just upload it without having to make two or three extra calls. Simple enough, right?

Carmelo Anthony is dealing with a groin strain. Now Tyson Chandler is nursing a groin injury too. On top of that, Baron Davis is fighting through some hamstring and calf issues. Everyone claims they'll suit up tomorrow, though we've heard that before.

Kyrie Irving is currently undergoing evaluation by the Cleveland Cavaliers medical staff following a sprained right shoulder.
“I’m feeling the pain right now, but I’m pushing through it. I'm leaning heavily on Advil and anti-inflammatories to manage it,” he remarked. “I was still able to find my shot during the third quarter, but the shoulder is really hurting at the moment. I just have to endure it.”
