Look at this guy, sitting there asking about the spread while his buddy just texted him that the Orlando Magic are going under.
Nothing is set in stone. Quarters don't move in a straight line, ever.🧐
Better off watching those idiots on ESPN struggling to figure out what Phil Jackson's legacy means or whatever tomorrow brings—honestly, they should just pack up and leave.😁
Daniel Robinson5 said:I just caught your post about taking the under. If you actually put money on that, then I guess it wouldn't be surprising if Coach Cal played the game of his life tonight. 🤷

I didn't even think it was a good play, but I hit it anyway. They didn't have it listed during the prep phase, and since I'm planning on blowing my online winnings on the Lakers game and eleven other matchups tomorrow, I figured I'd just take the under on this one while it sat there unplayed.
Look, you can see the pattern—scoring totals are tanking. It went from 52 down to 45. Next, it’ll be 38 dropping to 31 and the under hits. (Hint: look at yesterday's Utah game; things started hot then totally flatlined.)
Oh yeah, I missed it, but does anyone know what the total point line was for the Cleveland game? It wasn't even an option in the afternoon, and by the time I remembered to check, the game was already underway. Just curious. Maybe if it had been available, I would've placed something less stupid than what's currently haunting my parlay right now.
Daniel Robinson5 said:I suppose I’m hoping it might pan out that way, though I have about +4.5 more cushion on the Pistons, so things aren't looking too grim as it stands.😁
Personally, I don't think Cleveland was even an option at the local sportsbooks around here, whereas in my area, they were sitting at 201.5.😉

If Thornton is a game-time decision for SAC, I’m pivoting to Sacramento Under 205.5 at 1.85. Is anyone actually surprised?
Drew Palmer66 said:Thornton is out.
Which means we take the Under on SAC.
Nicholas Chase34 said:I honestly feel like it’s just better to give it a shot and see what happens. I’m thinking we take the under on that Orlando game, specifically anything under 94.5 points, and honestly, at 1.85 odds, it feels like a pretty sweet deal to me.
Justin Watson64 said:11:55 PM Cleveland vs. San Antonio. Home team under 95.5 total points. Odds at 1.85
Cleveland’s looking rough tonight—Gibson is out, Varejao is sidelined, and we’re all sitting here wondering if Kyrie’s even gonna suit up with that shoulder injury. Meanwhile, the visitors are coming in with a full roster.
I’m leaning on Cleveland staying under 95.5. In their last five games, they haven't even cracked 90, and over their last ten, they’ve only cleared this line twice.
analoghound21 said:Nobody’s even talking about Indiana. Honestly, I feel like today’s finally the day they get their revenge after losing three straight matchups—two at home and two this season. I mean, if they don't settle the score now, when will they? 🙂
So, if I actually had the guts to place a bet today, my picks would be...
Indiana vs. New York: Home win @ 1.50
Cleveland vs. San Antonio: Away win @ 1.25 (The Spurs could easily end up with the best record in the league, and even though they face the Celtics tomorrow, I don't see them dropping this one. They had two days to rest)
Memphis vs. Golden State: Double chance Home/Draw @ 1.25 (Just a safety net here. I can't shake this feeling they might push it into overtime 😬 ...Memphis is on the second game of a back-to-back-to-back stretch. They finally got some satisfaction yesterday beating OKC, but then they have the defending champs tomorrow. James Taylor already gave his take, and Tony B. is on it too 🙂)
@ 2.34 Total Odds
graniteotter6 said:Sacramento Kings Under 214.5
Both times these two teams met this year, the Kings walked away with the win and we saw something in the ballpark of 180 points total.
The Kings have been leaning heavily toward the under all season long.
That margin just feels way too high.
Keith Moore21 said:Man, I was gonna say this is the only matchup I'm touching today—and honestly, I think the line is also way too high... I just totally screwed myself by betting early, and now the odds shifted; the under is sitting at @2, while the over is @1.7 on DraftKings. 🤣
Lawrence Castillo76 said:Taking Detroit at 4.5. Orlando is playing without Anderson, Howard, and Nelson, so they’re starting their second unit. #Magic starters per SVG: Duhon, JRich, QRich, Hedo, and Glen Davis
graniteotter6 said:More sure things that aren't just for stacking bets, maybe some spreads or team totals, otherwise there isn't much else to work with.Take today's matchup as an example: Charlotte beat Toronto both times this year, though I did see them play Detroit, where they played well but lost simply because they haven't quite figured out how to close games yet.Taking the spread at +8.5 seems like a logical move.
Also, with Irving's status for the Cavs being questionable, I guess we can lean into that.
graniteotter6 said:Anyway... here is another one I found.
Sacramento vs. Phoenix under 214.5In both matchups this year, Phoenix won and the total hovered around 180 points.
Phoenix tends to trend toward the under most of this season.
They are chasing the playoffs, so I suppose every game feels like a playoff game to them.
These guys dropped 116 on a disorganized Minnesota squad, so they likely won't be anywhere near that today.
The margin feels too high.
graniteotter6 said:Actually, I was somewhat surprised by the odds dropping on San Antonio and the Memphis-GSW under (I didn't mention Memphis for the win since that's an obvious lock), but overall, I covered those shifts with a parlay, so it works out fine.
I've noticed a significant shift toward unders over the last few days, especially after February and most of March were absolutely flooded with overs. I guess they finally got their heads screwed on straight; some teams are pushing for the playoffs while others are playing for better draft positioning, so they're managing the regular season accordingly.
Keith Moore21 said:that's what I'm asking you👍

and then these damn bookies go and screw us on the spread... just typical...☕
