Timmy’s been stuck on the bench since the start of the game, sitting there with absolutely nothing to show for it. Honestly, Bargnani, I love you, you Italian legend.

Washington (h+5.5) - Indiana 2 1.85
The Washington side is playing without their star striker and their main playmaker.
Christian Ruiz said:Memphis is playing incredibly right now. They’ve become a true cohesive unit—their offense is diverse, their defense is solid, and they have great depth. Now that the roster is finally healthy and complete, they’re going to be a serious threat and one of those dangerous underdogs in the playoffs. I really have to highlight that tactical versatility Hollins has been working on over the last few seasons; he’s managed to channel some of the more "wildcard" personalities, specifically Guy and O.J., into this system. As I mentioned, Memphis is turning into a team nobody wants to see on their schedule.
Now, let’s look at tonight’s pick. Marc Gasol has evolved into an elite center in the league. Critics might argue he lacks the massive bulk or height seen in today's NBA, but that's a tired argument—his performance alone earns him that elite status. This season, he’s hovering near a double-double average with 15.4 points and 9.6 rebounds, which are stellar numbers. So, what’s the deciding factor for this bet? It's the schedule. Memphis is playing their sixth game in five days, and this is their third straight night out. With such a condensed schedule, fatigue really starts to pile up, especially for the big men. Since Gasol eats up the most minutes on the floor, that exhaustion is bound to show up on the scoreboard. Plus, as I noted, Memphis is finally whole. Zach Randolph is back after a long layoff; even if he's still finding his rhythm coming off the bench, we should realistically expect him to take a few touches away from Gasol in the paint. Looking at the matchup against Dallas, Gasol will be guarded by Haywood, who is a stout defender and could easily keep Gasol below his usual averages. While Gasol put up 22 points against Dallas earlier this season, I wouldn't use that as a benchmark because of the specific rotations—like Dirk's early injury in that game—and tactical shifts. If we look at last season, he averaged about 12 points against them over four games, though Chandler was also helping stifle him in two of those. Personally, I think 15.5 is just a bit too high given the circumstances. Fatigue is a real factor, and when legs get heavy, shooting percentages usually drop. Even though Dallas isn't quite as imposing in the paint as they were last year, a recovered Haywood should be enough to keep Gasol in check.

Toronto’s last game was back in January and they got absolutely smoked by over 30 points—honestly, probably their worst performance this century. They'll be hungry to prove themselves tonight, plus Philly had a brutal matchup in Miami last night.

It's going to be a late one for anyone tuning in from the East Coast, but honestly, there's nothing quite like that late-night sports energy when the stakes feel high and the whole house is quiet. It's basically like staying up way too late at a diner in New Jersey just to catch the best slice of pie—totally worth the sleep deprivation if the game delivers. Let's see if Philly can hold their ground or if Toronto pulls off the upset!
If you're looking for a solid play today, I’d say definitely keep an eye on DeMar DeRozan to land under 17.5 points at +115 odds—he’s looking like a pretty strong favorite for that one.

Durant Over 27.5 @ FanDuel
He’s always been a beast against top-tier competition. He looked a little off against Memphis, so I fully expect him to bounce back and make up for it today.
Garnett Over 15.5 @ FanDuel
The old veteran. Given how much this game matters, he’ll likely see more minutes than usual, which translates to more shot attempts.
Nowitzki Over 24.5 @ FanDuel
The German machine absolutely has to step up if Dallas wants any chance at a win tonight.
Bryant Over 28.5 @ FanDuel
He dropped 42 points in his last "away" game against the Clippers. He’s going to force it like he always does, especially if Bynum isn't in the lineup. I could also see an over on Pau Gasol here.
Good luck. 🙂
graniteotter6 said:Honestly, today's lineup just isn't hitting the mark for me. It’s really not working at all.
I did notice one thing: the line for Philly is sitting at 1.3. That feels high—really high, in my opinion—and almost like a bit of a decoy. With the Atlanta spreads looking like 12.5 and 19.5, I suspect there’s some maneuvering going on behind the scenes. Something feels off here. I might place a bet, but I’ll be playing it very cautiously.😁
graniteotter6 said:Good grief. Nowitzki going under? That’s the first thing that comes to mind, I guess.
graniteotter6 said:I’ve got a position on the New Orleans under 95.5. I have my paperwork filed. No explanation provided, I suppose.🤷
Maybe it’s because those overhyped Wolves have been such a disappointment lately, but I might actually put my money on the Warriors at +12.5. Even if they struggle early on, I suspect the guys will keep pushing and making life difficult for the bigger teams right up until the final buzzer.
The Lakers shouldn't be able to close a gap larger than nine points, assuming they even manage to pull off a win at all. I suppose proving something on your own home court is the ultimate litmus test for any team. At this rate, it’ll either be an egalitarian blowout or just another typical Lakers struggle.
It’s been all day and I haven't seen Kris Polatsek listed on any of the betting sites. I suppose even the universe knows he’s an "under" play today, though he’ll probably still find a way to surprise us all by dropping 21 points anyway.
