But those idiots won't even list guys like Cousins. And he’s easily the best player on the Kings right now—plus Thompson isn't even playing today. If I could, I’d take that 19.5 over in a heartbeat.

I mean, look at Bet365... their player props are incredible—points, rebounds, assists tracked all season long! They actually give you options on multiple players, not just one or two from a single team. Why the hell aren't our local geniuses offering lines on guys like Rondae, Crawford—who is absolutely tearing it up lately and is basically the Wizards' best player—or Isaiah Thomas? 🙂 Instead, we're stuck with one guy, so if he gets shut down early, you're screwed.
To make matters worse, the online books here barely let you parlay anything. You can't combine two different players or pair a player prop with some random event from ten games away! It’s ridiculous... WTF? This is exactly why I closed my account with BetMGM.

Is anyone else dealing with this garbage right now? Seriously, what am I even paying for if the interface is this broken?

It’s like a ritual at this point! When it comes to the favorites, most of the books set their margins based on actual current form, you know, what’s happening right now, which is huge. But then you’ve got places like DraftKings or FanDuel—they just look at some lazy season-long average that doesn't mean squat once the momentum shifts. Honestly, I try my best to steer clear of FanDuel because their margins are absolutely predatory, and I’m not trying to hand my hard-earned cash to them for nothing. At the end of the day, I usually lean toward the over, unless I get a real gut feeling that an under is actually looking juicy, you know what I mean?😉

You've got a point there. I prefer overs too, but like I said—I don't always get a choice.🤣 Sometimes you need that last-minute intel right before tip-off, and in those cases, you're stuck betting online.
As for DraftKings, I just checked and the lines haven't moved. Plus, they've got Cousins and Crawford available.😢 I actually just loaded some cash into my BetMGM account a bit ago.

I have to admit, I actually prefer these days when there aren't a ton of games on the schedule.
I find it easier to stay focused on one specific matchup. When the slate is packed, things just get chaotic: you start overthinking everything—wondering if a certain player will miss too many shots, checking who else might struggle, or deciding to take the under because a specific guy is playing for a certain team. You start obsessing over whether a 10.5 line is too high or too low, and before you know it, the whole process just falls apart.
Today, I think I’ll experiment a bit with player props, since the projected point totals feel pretty much right where I'd expect them to be.
The 203.5 total for the Spurs vs. Clippers game feels like my biggest red flag.
The Kings tend to throw points at whoever is available, whereas the Clippers play a more structured game—though, to be fair, they had one of those "unstructured" nights last night.
I'll probably end up landing an under somewhere.

Hey guys, just a heads-up on Monroe—only grab him if Nene isn't in the lineup. In that last game, a Brazilian player absolutely shut him down, and honestly, there's a real chance he gets caught up in foul trouble early on, much like what we saw during that match.

I haven't been checking in on the NBA as much lately, mostly just popping in when there's some big breaking news, and I've actually been shifting my focus over to MLB, which I'm planning to dive into a lot deeper from here on out.

Looking at the NBA slate today, there are some pretty solid picks floating around, like taking the over on Mel at 23.5 or hitting the under on Pierce at 19.5 🙂

The heavy under has played out in both matchups between Washington and Detroit this season, and I suppose it’s probably a similar story for Chicago vs. Boston (across three meetings).
