Just for today:

Anthony under 20.5

That line feels way too high—it's overshooting by at least 2 or 3 points given his current form.

Pairing that with:

NYK-Milwaukee -> -6.5 for the Knicks.
I don't trust the Bucks even one percent right now. I have a feeling they're going to have a terrible shooting night. I expect them to get dismantled by halftime, so naturally, Anthony probably won't even see more than half an hour of playing time.🤷

Also, a second slip featuring these two plays + Howard under 22.5.

Amar'e's MRI shows a bulging disc... he's OUT indefinitely.

A massive blow for the Knicks.

David Locke said:Just finished nice conversation with Deron Williams -- I am putting his over under points tonight at 36

Tim Bontemps said:Now #Nets only have three guards available for tonight's game: Deron Williams, Sundiata Gaines and MarShon Brooks.

Facing off against a tired Jazz squad, this feels like the perfect setup for Deron to absolutely light it up, especially since he’ll definitely have that extra fire in his belly playing against his old teammates. Since the backcourt is looking so thin right now, Deron should end up seeing plenty of minutes on the floor. Plus, let's be real, the Jazz defense is struggling big time when it comes to one-on-one coverage—especially Harris—so everything is lined up perfectly for Deron to hit that over.🤷

D.Williams over 22.5 @ 1.85

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Nets walk away with the win here, too.
Brian T. Smith said:With Bell absent and Howard out, Jazz will have 12 players vs. Nets night after four-overtime game.

David Locke said:Last time Jazz played 3 OT v. Miami (Memo 54 mins, Deron 51, Boozer 45) next day 105-87 loss to Orlando - Memo played 13 Deron 31 Boozer 34

edit: Also, Wade over 24.5 looks pretty juicy to me; the Pacers really struggle when defending the post, which is exactly where Wade loves to operate, often pulling up with those silky smooth fadeaways to rack up points. On top of that, Indiana is consistently among the top three teams when it comes to fouling, so there's a good chance Wade gets sent to the free throw line quite a bit. That said, I don't think we're going to see the Pacers get totally dismantled, mostly because the Heat guys are dealing with that Back-to-back fatigue.

Arthur Hill2 said:Boozer over 16.5.

Since we're missing both Rose and Hamilton for yet another night, I suppose our dear Boozer is going to have to dig deep and summon that interior scorer he keeps tucked away somewhere inside him—the one who doesn't go around collecting fouls like some frantic mushroom hunter, but rather the one who hits those beautiful lob shots with effortless precision.

And what about Deng? I wonder if you might know roughly how many shots Boozer averages per game, and what his shooting percentage looks like? It seems to me that without Rose and Hamilton available, his volume might jump by maybe 30% compared to his usual output.🤷

Also, I'd love to hear your thoughts... do you think Griffin can clear 21?

Thanks.

You really gotta hammer the over on Howard... he's playing like he's out there hunting for threes... 😁

Plus your thoughts... can Griffin go over 21?

Thanks.

Deng has improved his shooting recently, but that shooting hand ankle injury is still an issue. I wouldn't touch him; neither the over nor the under.

As for Boozer:

Field Goals Made 7.0
Field Goals Attempted 13.1
Field Goal Percentage 53.3%

That is a solid percentage. I can see him taking around 15-17 attempts tonight, assuming there isn't any nonsense regarding foul trouble. Naturally, with Hamilton and Rose out, he's going to get plenty of opportunities to exceed those margins.

I have no idea about Griffin; I haven't been following the Western Conference much lately. I would recommend taking the over on Deron, just as Nicholas Chase34 argued.

Thanks so much, I think I might just parlay Deron Williams, Boozer, and C. Anthon together for an over. Good luck to everyone tonight.

I suppose we won't see much from Deron Williams, unless the second half takes a completely unexpected turn.

It’s honestly a disaster, and the whole Nets squad is looking pretty rough right now; if Green wasn't out there, they probably wouldn't even break 10 points. It seriously feels like the Nets just finished playing four straight overtimes or something. 🙂

I just can't wrap my head around how someone could lack any shred of motivation when playing against their former club. I honestly don't get it...

It’s actually unreal. At this point, I’d probably bet my life savings on the Brooklyn Nets actually pulling off a win today. This whole situation is a disaster. You hit the nail on the head—did you see how pathetic they looked out there last night?

Edward Gonzalez36 said:It’s actually wild. I mean, if you told me a few years ago I'd be sitting here rooting for the Brooklyn Nets just to get a win, I would've laughed in your face. This whole situation is a total disaster. But hey, I guess you're not wrong—did you see how they played last night? It was rough.

The tanking era has officially kicked in, all because of some bullshit 😉

And even Andrea Bargnani can’t hit anything if his life depended on it. I’m only putting him in here because we don't have DeMar DeRozan, so we're stuck with whatever's left.

A quick question for the NBA experts out there...

What do you guys think the odds are that Deron Williams actually manages to hit the over?

He seems to be waking up; he’s sitting at 8 points right now, with about 4 minutes left in the third quarter.
He's been struggling from the field, though—shooting about 3 for 15.

EDIT: He just hit 10 points.

EDIT 2: Now he's up to 13! The Knicks have pulled within five, so come on, Deron, let's go!

The Brooklyn Nets are sitting at 6 wins. Maybe there’s something here after all.

@Sean Sullivan87/">@@Sean Sullivan87
Anything could happen if they can just hit ten straight shots, but honestly? Don't hold your breath.
