What's going on with this Williams guy? Is he injured or something?
I've just been checking NBA.com and noticed he only logged about 15 minutes in the first half.🙄
edit - these Blazers are seriously falling apart...

Williams scoring 9 points in a quarter might not seem like much, though I honestly think he's struggling out there. He just doesn't seem to be in the zone today.

I’ve got Deron Williams on my roster too, and he actually had a pretty solid start—hit seven points quite early on.
His shot seems to have cooled off a bit, though; he missed about four or five attempts and only managed one free throw. I'm still holding out hope for him.

Honestly, I might just lose my mind at this point.🙂

Saw that on Twitter.
So, what, there isn't even a 1% chance he's getting back on the court?
Twitter says he’s dealing with pain in his right shin...

Well... it's over.
He isn't coming back.
Tomorrow, if he doesn't suit up against the Rockets, you should grab the biggest handicap possible on them. Without Lopez and Williams, they don't stand a chance against anyone.

So, I guess we aren't seeing anything from Deron Williams' over unless maybe Rubio starts hitting his shots too.

G. Wallace
tip: I’m feeling pretty good about taking the under on 13.5 points at 1.85 odds. It feels like one of those situations where you just expect things to stay quiet, almost like a slow Sunday afternoon when nothing much is happening, so I'll stick with that.
Deron Williams
tip: I’m feeling pretty good about taking the over on 23.5 points at 1.85; it just feels like one of those situations where the momentum is totally on our side and everything is lining up perfectly.
C. Anthony
tip: I’m feeling pretty good about taking over 21.5 points at 1.85; it feels like one of those situations where the math just lines up perfectly, kind of like when you find a great deal on a vintage jacket that fits exactly right. It’s got that steady, reliable vibe to it, so I'm definitely leaning into this one.

Injury list. 😠
Nicholas Chase34 said:Basically:
Jennings It looks like we’re looking at a spread of over 18.5 here, which honestly feels like a pretty solid line to play with if you think things are going to get moving. The way the PG is locking down New York right now is actually wild to watch, honestly.
L. Williams I'm feeling pretty good about this one, honestly—I'm leaning toward taking the over 14.5. It just feels like the kind of game where everything starts clicking and the scoring just keeps snowballing, much like how a small spark in a backyard bonfire can suddenly turn into a massive blaze if you let it catch. When you look at the momentum building up, it feels like we're headed for a high-scoring affair, so I'm riding with that number. The way the PG handles defense against Utah is honestly something else to watch.
Aldridge I'm feeling like we're looking at an under 21.5 situation here. Garnett
Bryant I’m feeling pretty good about this one—it feels like we're looking at over 28.5. Ridnour
Germany
🤔
Aldridge was absolutely cooking out there today with those 22 points.😢Hey, look on the bright side—it’s like when you're playing a hand and everything just swings back in your favor; you basically doubled your money!

Roger Phillips said:Corey Maggette over
Last three games: -25, -29, -24 points.
The Nets are giving up points left and right at small forward, so Corey should hit his over pretty easily.
Plus, Maggette plays way better at home—averaging 17.5 compared to just 13.8 on the road.
In the last matchup, he dropped 24 on the Nets.
Totally expecting an easy win here.
A. Jamison over
Dude is on fire right now. He put up 33, 22, and 29 in his last three, and in his last ten, he’s cleared his over 8 or 9 times.
They're playing Oklahoma, a game where we're looking at a high-scoring affair (200+), and when the total goes over 200, Jamison averages about 24.3.
Oklahoma also lets PFs rack up about 22.2 points per game.
GL.

Batum over 14.5 @1.85 👎 (avoiding the blowout)
-Aldridge is going to have a tough time against KG and Bass. Wallace probably won't do much, and Felton isn't really an option either since Rondo is in the mix, so I could see Batum hitting around 20 points.
Philadelphia -12.5 @3.30 👍
-Worth a shot. Philadelphia is just a much stronger squad overall, and you have to look at that time they beat Boston by a 32 point lead.
Boston-Portland under 184.5 @1.85 👎 (avoiding the blowout)
-The line is lower than what I'm seeing at overseas books. This should be a defensive battle; 4 of their last 5 matchups went under this number.
Oklahoma-Cleveland under 203.5 @1.85 👍
-Both teams are playing high-scoring ball this season, but it's worth a look since their last 8 meetings all stayed under this limit. Plus, Oklahoma might pull away early and slow the tempo in the 4th. Seems worth a try to me.
Charlotte-Nets 1 @2.05 👎 can't believe they didn't win this when Deron Williams went down
-Some day they barely scraped past the Nets thanks to a 57-point performance from Williams, but they probably won't have another night like that. Besides, Charlotte has been looking sharp since their guys returned from injury.
Milwaukee-Knicks 1 @2.05 👍
-Look, I'm pulling for the Knicks, but this is a solid play. Milwaukee has won 7 of their last 8, and without Chandler, Ilyasova and Gooden might just run wild in the paint.
Sacramento-Dallas over 196.5 @1.85 👍
-Just look at their recent history—aside from the very last one, they've consistently cleared 200+. Both these teams love to score, especially the home side.
Good luck tonight...

Rose vs Westbrook @ 1.85
If Deng ends up sitting this one out, combined with how much Utah struggles defending the Point Guard position, I’m feeling like this could go either way and stay pretty close, whereas we're basically expecting a total blowout in the OKC-CHA matchup.
G. Monroe over 16.5 @ 1.85
Monroe is looking really sharp lately, and he consistently puts up big numbers against weaker teams—you know, those squads hovering under a .500 winning percentage—and he just dropped 30 points on Toronto in their last outing. Since Toronto generally struggles to defend the post, taking the over feels like a slam dunk to me.

Washington +4.5
3/10
Portland is honestly one of those teams that absolutely falls apart on back-to-back stretches, and man, they are just terrible on the road. They aren't even close to playing at their level when they leave the Rose Garden. Yesterday was a total blowout against what’s basically just a decent Celtics squad this year, nothing more. On the other hand, the Wizards have been looking better and better lately, especially at home where I feel like John Wall hits the over almost every single night. Since Portland is running it back on a back-to-back, they're easily one of the weakest teams in this spot, and I doubt they’ll bounce back easily after yesterday's beating. They're pretty bottom-tier when it comes to defending the Point Guard position, which is something Wall should definitely exploit. So, I guess this bet is more than just good—it's actual value.
