I honestly couldn't stop shaking after that Utah game. 🙂

James Taylor3 said:Don't be ridiculous—Marcus Camby is an elite center, easily a double-double average guy.
The issue is his injuries—they keep derailing him—and he isn't doing anything to help his case during his good games, like staying put or even publicly looking for a team to pick him up.

No way... Utah is absolutely dead.
The Hornets are missing their entire squad, for crying out loud. And yet, somehow, they’re sitting there at a 1.65 Utah coefficient. It makes absolutely no sense.

New Orleans vs. Utah. Honestly, I’ve been sitting here staring at the matchups for an hour, and I can’t shake this feeling that everyone is looking at this all wrong. People are going to talk about the scoring depth or whatever, but they’re missing the actual pulse of this game. It’s one of those matchups where you just know things are going to get messy. You have New Orleans trying to dictate the tempo, and then you have Utah coming in with that specific grit that just disrupts everything. It’s frustrating to watch when teams don't respect the defensive rotations, and I have a feeling we're going to see some sloppy play early on because nobody wants to take accountability for their assignments. I’m telling you now, if the perimeter defense doesn't tighten up, this isn't even going to be a contest. It’s going to be a blowout fueled by unforced errors. I’m not interested in seeing a track meet; I want to see actual, disciplined basketball. But knowing how these two teams operate lately? Yeah, I'm bracing myself for a headache.
Utah -3.5 at 1.85 | USA | 8/10
Utah -9.5 at +230 - USA - 2/10
Look, it’s pretty obvious what happened there: the New Orleans guys completely failed to attack the rim. They only managed eight attempts in the paint, and sure, they were a perfect 100% from that range, but that's not the point. The real issue is that they leaned way too heavily on the perimeter shot. If it wasn't for Jack, Marcus Camby, and Smith holding things together, we probably would've been looking at a total blowout.
Look, with the New Orleans roster being this thin, I honestly don't see any way they stand a chance against a Jazz team that’s currently on fire. To me, this is a gift, and I'm taking both sides of the action. Even with Utah dealing with a back-to-back situation, a realistic spread should be at least 6.5 given how lopsided this matchup looks. Pinnacle actually has the line offline right now, and frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if they come back and set it at 5.5. ☕
Nicholas Chase34 said:🤣 I'm still debating if I should even list him on the injury report... I mean, look at how New Orleans is playing right now. They're treating Marcus Camby like he's actually legit, and he just dropped 14 points against Utah on 6-of-7 shooting. 😛

The house always wins, and they definitely aren't handing out freebies...

As if any of this actually matters—as long as he was "right" and used some incredibly convincing logic to get there. ☕
Thomas Cook54 said:They even added Jeremy Lin to the mix today.😍 I suspect they set the line just high enough to screw us all over at 22.5, but I'm going over. He put up 20 points in Minneapolis despite plenty of misses and an overall subpar performance; now he’s in a position to take full control while Melo and Amar'e Stoudemire are out. Plus, the Knicks' defense looks pretty thin to me, so I'll take deRozan over on this matchup as well...
wiredcanyon39 said:Amar'e might be back today, so I guess the under looks more likely.

Right now, I’d probably just roll with the Los Angeles Lakers, since they look pretty convincing playing at home.
wiredcanyon39 said:Honestly, I wouldn't touch the Lakers right now because nothing about them is clicking for me, so everyone looks like a favorite with those tiny odds, and since this game could easily swing either way, I'm leaning toward the Heat, though I feel like I might be hunting for an upset tonight.
