I honestly feel like if there had been even the slightest hint of doubt, the spread would've already shifted to a doubtful line
but today feels a bit different; I mean, think about how those oddsmakers at the Las Vegas sports consultants
are completely preoccupied with the Super Bowl right now, dealing with massive amounts of money being poured into those tickets day and night,
and this game doesn't even tip off until Sunday at noon, which is basically prime sleeping time for most people compared to the NBA schedule back home.

But let's be realistic—it’s only the second day of action. What do you think the odds makers at the Las Vegas sports consultants are actually focusing on right now?
They are completely preoccupied with the Super Bowl; that's where the massive volume is, with millions being poured into those tickets.
And this game isn't even scheduled until Sunday at noon; compared to how the NBA schedule runs, half the country is still asleep.

So, who are you putting your money on?🙂

Look, I get it, but I just had to get this off my chest. 😁

I might actually tune into the Super Bowl tonight—just to see what the hype is about and why it’s supposedly the biggest event on the planet.

Memphis +4.5 is live right now! Might be worth a shot—just a thought. 🤷

It’s been a rough year, honestly; they barely had anything to show for it during halftime besides a Madonna track playing
and unfortunately, since we're playing in an arena this year, we won't get that classic spectacle
where a fleet of stealth bombers flies low over the stadium to kick off the game

Man, if I had known DeRozan would be spending so much energy covering for James, things would have played out completely differently. 🤣

I guess we can just hope Miami makes enough of an impact so that James can spend some time on the bench.

Man... that was a rough outing for Memphis... Honestly, I expected them to put up a much better fight.

Man, I had both Gay and Pierce down, but they both went down right after the 21st basket. I played a duel on Gay. Does this mean my parlay gets wiped out now, or is it just sitting there at 1.0 odds?

What a joke. 😁
Both Dwayne and LeBron wanted him to play fewer minutes, so I figured, hey, let me pop in here and see what the experts are saying... then I changed my mind. What was I thinking? 🙂 😁

Lesson learned once again. ☕

In the end, though, the fourth quarter was what decided it for the James over. It seems like Miami has this habit of simply matching whatever level their opponent brings to the table. 😢

Chicago - 8.5

The Nets are playing without Brooks, Lopez, Okur, and Stevenson, and word is they might also be missing Morrow, who apparently received leave due to a death in the family.

On the other side, the Bulls have Deng back in the lineup, though the only concern is how they typically struggle against this specific Nets squad.

EDIT: It’s confirmed, Morrow is out.

You could take the over on Deron; honestly, he's the only one on that roster capable of making things happen right now.

My pick of the day is Bryant over 27.5. I'm expecting a tough battle for LA, which means plenty of minutes for Kobe—probably looking at at least 35-40 points.😂

And what the hell is going on with all those injuries over on the Hornets?
We've got J. Jack, Carl Landry, and that center Smith who took at least three hits to the head during the last game before getting knocked out...
Is there anyone actually willing to write it down clearly that they definitely aren't playing, instead of just calling them "game time decisions"?

If these guys are truly out... then SAC should take the win, damn it.

Look, it isn't even morning in the States yet—don't expect any fresh updates until around 7 or 8 PM our time.
