Yeah, the odds at the local sportsbook are sitting at 22.5... there's a massive gap in margins between the different books right now.

Here’s my bet:
Orlando Magic spread -1.5...........1.50
Chicago Bulls win................1.30
Derrick Rose over 22.5.......1.85
LeBron James over 30.5.....2.30

Orlando Magic have been covering that spread against weaker teams lately, so they shouldn't have any issues with the Chicago Bulls
Chicago Bulls are playing their first game back at home. Even if the Memphis Grizzlies give them trouble,Derrick Rose is gonna bring that 23+ PPG energy tonight and secure the win.☕
LeBron James was just too good of a value play to pass up at these odds.

placidmaker62 said:Happy New Year, everyone. I was curious to get some thoughts on the Sacramento Kings vs New Orleans Pelicans matchup.

No, they’re playing without their best player, Aaron Gordon, today—and Sacramento is always a tough out on their home court. They might actually walk away with a win. 🤷

Bryan Adams6 said:LeBron James over 30.5 points at +130 on the HL.
It’s too good an opportunity to pass up.

That’s a lot to digest—31 points isn't exactly a small number. Plus, if the Miami Heat end up dismantling Charlotte, LeBron James might see his minutes get dialed back.

Dirk Nowitzki would easily clear my over today—honestly, there’s nobody in Minnesota capable of guarding him.

Don't listen to me—I'm notorious for being wrong when it comes to player prop predictions.
That’s exactly why I stopped putting money on it.

Just focus on the games. I don't care about individual player scoring. 🧐

Arthur Hill2 said:Where did that 22.5 line go? Did it vanish into thin air? After he finally started playing aggressively like he did last season, only to be benched today in favor of the Memphis Grizzlies backup, Memphis Pargo—it's hard to say.🙂

I went with him in the matchup against Blake Griffin—mostly because I’m expecting a subpar performance from Griffin and Derrick Rose to land somewhere in the 20–25 point range.

I’m not sure if Memphis Grizzlies is actually going to listen to him. Honestly, they’ll probably just send Taj Gibson to cover Derrick Rose—someone who could actually shut him down. 🤷
I'm not checking the numbers—just speaking from memory—but it's a possibility.

I've gotta say, those 2.30 odds on Portland are looking pretty tempting right now.

James Taylor3 said:I honestly doubt if Pargo is even going to listen. In my view, he’ll likely just hand off the assignment to Taj Allen, who would be a far more effective option for shutting him down. 🤷
I haven't verified the specifics—this is just my gut feeling—but it's a possibility.

And besides, who is supposed to defend Hamilton? 😬

Pargo stands at about 6'2", while Hamilton is 6'7". It is a total mismatch.

Or will little Pargo be tasked with guarding Deng (6'9")?

I don't think I can stomach that kind of height disadvantage. 🤷

Or maybe little Pargo tries to take on Deng (6'9")?

I don't think I can stomach that much height disadvantage—it's just too much. 🤷

Honestly, who knows. They might try some unconventional defense early on, then just revert to their standard scheme if it doesn't work. 🤷

Back when I was checking the lines on the Rose game, the spread sat at exactly 25.5

And naturally, being the impulsive gambler that I am, I took it 🙂🙂

He played 2 over at the Nets. Both squads are absolute garbage right now, but maybe Deron can actually pull a rabbit out of a hat and make it happen.

Orlando 🤦

That Richardson dunk pretty much sums up their whole vibe during the quarterfinals 🙂

Maybe... assuming this coach doesn't decide to bench him every five minutes.

He only took 4 shots. You think that means the lead shrinks tomorrow?🙂

That's why Bosh is absolutely cooking today.👍

It’s entirely possible that Kobe might just skip the game altogether.🙂

Orlando and Howard are a total disaster, and now he’s getting embarrassed by Magloire and Bargnani...

It’s pretty obvious why the Nets are struggling so much this season.
They’ve got this clown for a coach who clearly doesn't know how to manage a roster.
With an eight-minute lead over the Cavs... he decides to bench Williams, their leading scorer...🤦 instead, he puts in three bench players—two of whom can't shoot to save their lives and rack up nothing but Turnovers.🙄 I could wrap my head around that move if we were down by 15 or up by 20, but doing it in a tight game is just bizarre.

He’s forgotten how to play so far—shooting 0-for-5 and already sitting on 2 personal fouls.

Arthur Hill2 said:I find myself leaning quite heavily toward Deng going over 17.5 today. He seems to be in such excellent shooting form lately, and since he’s playing around 40 minutes per game, I suppose you at least have plenty of time to get frustrated with him if things don't go our way. 😬.

I have to admit, I was somewhat under the impression that Deng was going to absolutely tear them apart early on—I honestly thought he might drop fifty on them. Instead, he ended up finishing with just twenty, which feels like a bit of a letdown given how he started.

Jerry Grant51 said:It seems he’s forgotten how to find his rhythm so far; he's sitting on a 0-for-5 shooting slump and has already picked up two personal fouls.

So, I guess it’s actually happening. It looks like they're finally heading in.😉

I honestly have no clue how the over on Orlando played out; they were absolutely tearing it up with 70 points right at the start of the fourth quarter 😬

I was wondering if someone might be able to lend me a hand here...http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxsco...1007....I've been looking at the player scoring stats...and I'm a bit stuck on what the abbreviation for personal fouls actually stands for. I think I recognize most of these shorthand terms, but I'm just not quite sure about TO and PF...thanks so much.
