Why on earth is the PCI-E VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6750 priced higher than the PCI-E VTX3D AMD Radeon HD 6770 (V2)? I thought the 6770 V2 was actually the newer, updated version of the 6750?

Well, the HD 6750 and the HD 6770 aren't actually the same cards. 😵

It’s probably just some outdated pricing markup, because the HD 6770 is definitely more powerful than the 6750.

Look, the Vtx3d amd radeon hd6770 v2 is indeed the newer, more recent iteration compared to the vtx3d hd6770 (v1)... but it's not the successor to the 6750.

I get it, you guys totally missed my point here.

So, if the 6770 is better than the 6750, why on earth is this weaker 6750 actually more expensive? 🙂

So, if the 6770 is objectively better than the 6750, then why on earth is this weaker 6750 priced higher? 🙂

Maybe they just haven't updated some of the pricing yet.

Hey everyone—not really sure where else to turn, so maybe I can get some insight here. Any idea what I could realistically get for this graphics card?

Gigabyte GeForce 8600 GT
256MB
128 bit
DDR3
PCI-E

It’s about a year old—runs fine and stays quiet—but there's no warranty, since it was bought overseas.

Is it already a year old?🤣

Whatever the case, it was about $25.

Well, my cousin handed it over to me still in its packaging—he claimed it was a year old, though honestly, I suspect it’s been sitting there for at least 2 or 3.😁

You could pull $167 for that, but how much RAM are you actually running?

The 8600GT actually hit the market back in 2007.

What are you talking about? He isn't selling the whole PC, 😂 😬

I'm looking to pick up a decent GPU so I can actually run some modern titles without my PC exploding... budget is around $300
Here's what I'm working with currently
CPU: Intel Core i7 dual core
RAM: 3GB
GPU: GeForce 6150SE NForce 430
PCI-E x16
The real headache is I have zero clue what my power supply rating is, so that's a bit of a hurdle

Your processor is underpowered. You didn't even mention your power supply, what monitor you're using, or your resolution. Besides, you could have easily posted this question in other subforums—like sex and erotica—instead of just half the topics here.

I’ve got no clue what kind of power supply I’m running, but honestly, I’m still playing at a measly 1280x1024 resolution

My processor is absolute garbage. I can run BF3 and MW3 just fine, but the graphics settings? Forget about it. It’s basically a slideshow at that point.
