George Lopez77 said:Is there any way to grab just a single-day pass for the first day? I'm trying to balance work with seeing Arcade Fire—so a one-day ticket would be perfect. If anyone is looking to offload theirs, hit me up via DM... Thanks.

They sell single-day passes at the gate for $117

I was wondering—do the volunteers get access for both days, or is it strictly limited to the first day when Arcade Fire is playing???

+1.
Thanks for the heads-up, chocolate. I guess you could call this volunteer work, but honestly, if this meant I’d definitely be buying a ticket, then it feels like I’m getting paid one way or another—and pretty damn well at that, too.👍

Ticket Buy/Sell Thread:

Look, let's keep this area clean and don't turn this thread into a dumping ground for random classifieds. 🙂

Betty Gonzalez8 ; Puck ; chocolatecherry ... Volunteers. Hey everyone—does anyone happen to know if the volunteers get free entry for the second day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival too?

I haven't actually attended the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival yet, so I have a somewhat practical—if perhaps slightly ridiculous—question. Is there any realistic chance (assuming extreme luck, or maybe even some heavy bribery) that I might manage to snag an autograph from someone in Grinderman? Or should those of us making our debut just abandon all hope and save ourselves the trouble of carrying around CD sleeves?

A few friends of mine managed to track down Ellis during a show in Vienna, so I’m curious to know what the vibe is like at the Santa Monica Pier.
🙂

I'm not entirely sure, though I'd guess probably not. I mean, volunteering is technically part of the AF setup rather than the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival itself, so I suppose our main perk is actually getting to see them instead of the whole festival lineup. I imagine they won't kick us out before the headliner finishes, but I wouldn't count on being able to stick around for the second day.

I go to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival year after year, and I’ve always spotted our local regulars hanging out in the crowd. (People stay to watch the international acts, though some people harass them for photos so much that the poor artists can't even enjoy their own set.) But I never see anyone chasing the foreign stars. 🤷
Personally, I've never really made it a mission to hunt down autographs.

Anyway, whether I get an autograph or not, it will be fun, fun, fun! 🙂

Yeah... what a mess. I’d honestly just call that number from the email and ask, but my spoken English isn't exactly top-tier—definitely not confident enough to navigate a phone call like that! 🤣 And since I've already got my festival pass, I was planning on gifting it to my girlfriend just to make sure we actually have access for the second day... 😢

Oh, absolutely. Though, I have to admit, having a Caveov signature on my Grinderman records would be quite the little bonus and a great keepsake. 🙂

Same question here, though I'm aiming for Mastodon 😁

Is BYOB allowed? Also, what's the price for a beer, and do they serve it in 16oz pours or what?

Word on the street is that you're looking at about $6.75 for a pint. 👎

Last year, they were pouring about half a liter of beer per $5.00, and you weren't allowed to bring a single scrap of food or any booze inside the gates 😁
The beer was Tuborg—though I have no clue what they'll serve this time around—but if it happens to be $6.75...👎
Plus, they make you swap your cash for vouchers, which is just their way of making sure you use those specifically for all your food and drinks 🙂

If you’re going to head out, you should just grab a drink downtown first, instead of handing $6.75 them money for a single liter. It's honestly disrespectful...

I have four of those wristbands hanging on my wall, untouched. Beg to differ. Not only is it possible, but I have a friend who pulled that exact move at a few Lollapalooza shows.
