Yes, it was truly dreadful—absolutely appalling, actually. I find myself wondering how anyone could even have the audacity to organize a festival of this caliber. Honestly, one has to ask: where is their sense of shame?

TJ—well, I just hope most people decide to skip this whole thing. Honestly, if you're going to charge that kind of money, you should be bringing in some actual heavy hitters, IMO. If this lineup wasn't so depressing, it might actually be laughable!

I can't imagine an organizer passing up the chance to book a group widely considered one of the best live acts on the planet right now—a band that, by the way, happens to be touring nearby at this very moment:

.....or frankly, any other major artist who’s actually relevant right now!?

We've been down this road before. Given that they struggled to move even 2,000 tickets last time, and now the prices have basically tripled—the math is pretty simple.
It would have been "more profitable" to just book Metallica; they'd have filled Central Park to the brim.

I honestly think we should implement a rule where being a fan of Muse or Placebo results in an automatic ban.

Let us be perfectly clear here: the lineup isn't necessarily weak in a vacuum, but given the astronomical ticket prices, it is an absolute disappointment when you compare it to last year's roster. I had finally reached a point in my life where I actually wanted to attend the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, only to find myself staring at this underwhelming selection. Is it not the ultimate irony? Now that I actually have the disposable income to enjoy such things, the lineup turns out to be mediocre. It leaves me with nothing but a profound sense of regret for not simply biting the bullet and going last year...

The lineup isn't bad; you just don't like it. I'm not a fan myself, but I can't exactly use my own taste as the gold standard. For me, the highlight of the year was seeing Mick Jones last night. 😳

Upvoted. And honestly? Same goes for anyone who thinks Tool is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

So what? They’ve already announced 18 performers.

Why on earth would they bother announcing someone separately when we’ve already seen them perform as part of the Massive Attack lineup?
I was honestly under the impression that they would be appearing alongside Massive Attack once again this time...

The whole lineup was mediocre, except for Portishead, who actually delivered. 🙏

I really expected way more from this year's festival, but whatever... I already bought my ticket at the start... If I'd known it was going to be like this, would I have even shown up? Definitely skipping next year...

I don't quite grasp the whole "world stage" concept. What is that actually supposed to mean? Are all the performers from this world, rather than another one? 🤔

Is camping set at 180? I know there used to be two different prices, but now it’s just that one 😕
