Is there any way to grab tickets just for the zero day? I don't have the budget to drop cash on a two-day pass when I only plan on being there for one.😁

Rolling Stone says you can grab a single-day pass just for day zero for $83, but only at the gates on the actual day of the show. Pretty sweet, not too pricey...

$83 So, just for day zero at the festival box office—if I’m reading this right, that means tickets can only be bought on the actual day of the show? Unless they open the box office a few days early, but honestly, I have no clue how they usually run things.

EDIT: Scott Hill70 beats Justin Myers22, 1-0.

You’re never going to see any part of Layne.

Honestly, it feels like we’re one of the only places where bands still get booked fifteen years after they've already peaked...

Sorry if this is a bit out of line, but does anyone know where I can find the commercial for the festival online? 🙂

Justin Myers22 said:$83 just for one day, specifically at the festival box office. if I'm following this correctly, that means tickets can only be bought on the actual day of the show... unless the box office opens up the day before, but who knows how they run things

I don't get these setups either. Someone needs to explain this to me.. 🙂

So, apparently, single-day tickets for just one day are only available at the "festival box office." What does that even mean? Are we talking about the ticket booth right at the entrance on the day of the event? 🤷
Did it work like this in previous years?
Maybe my memory is failing me, but in the past, you could buy single-day passes in advance. Now, they're saying you have to buy them at the gate.. 🤷

Thanks for clarifying 🙏

So, apparently, if you want tickets for just a single day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, you supposedly have to buy them at the "festival box office." But what does that actually mean in practice? Are we talking about that little ticket shack right at the entrance on the day of the show? 🤷
Did it actually work this way in previous years...?
Maybe my memory is failing me, but I distinctly remember being able to grab single-day passes well in advance before now. This year, it sounds like you're stuck buying your day pass right at the gate... 🤷

Thanks for clearing things up 🙏

What part isn't clicking for you? It's pretty straightforward: you show up, pay $250 at the gate to get into the grounds, catch the music, and head home.

Was it set up like that last year too?

No, definitely not that shack. 🤷

If my memory serves—and it usually doesn't—there was this massive covered booth where they swapped tickets for wristbands, and I'm pretty sure you could buy tickets there too.
Someone tell me if I've got it wrong.

Nah, you got it wrong... they're actually putting the festival ticket booth right at that big turnoff over by the Dubuque intersection... 🙄

And I suspect it’s probably going to be Ground Zero as well. 🤷

Mastodon is coming. And since they’re hitting the road this fall with Alice in Chains and Deftones, I can't help but feel like something isn't quite right regarding the Deftones set...

Roger Newman50, please don't mislead us. If you're basing that conclusion solely on the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival schedule—noting they have a free day and a break before their show in Atlanta—then that isn't exactly groundbreaking news... if you actually happen to have some kind of insider information, then just keep it to yourself and let us wait until it's officially confirmed...

😍

I'm basically sprinting to grab a ticket now that I heard Chance the Rapper is on the lineup 😁
I'm such an idiot 😵, I really should have just bought it when it was still cheap.

He doesn't have any actual inside info. Trust me.

Nancy Barnes77 said:Man, it feels like in this country, certain bands just stay relevant fifteen years too late...

Just because they aren't your thing doesn't mean they aren't relevant. Their new album is crushing it on the charts, the reviews are stellar, and their shows are sold out. The main songwriter is still going strong, and Alica in Chains basically functions as three-quarters of the original lineup. And what’s this about a "B-side" lineup? This isn't a hockey game where you need four lines of players.
